OGbros Hey folks
I'm very happy that the plant start growing without any problem because I had some problems with the germination of the seeds a few week ago. Anyway I counted the first week from the first root in the water. I used the tripack from Terra Aquatica (GHE) and the roots stimulator. For the first time I used the Advanced Nutrients PIRANHA (Mycorrhizal Fungi Root Stimulator) and in these first day I say it does his job, but also the new lamp (MarsHydro fc-e 6500) is terrific!!!!
See y'all next week😜

OGbros Hi guys,
I decided to top my plant. The secondary branches are short but I began to do some lst where I could. In the last three days the growth was insane! That plant take some centimeters every day, wow😍
edit: more lst! I build my scrog with the PVC tubes, a twine and screws. I made holes in the pvc every 7 cm (more or less I wasn't very accurate)
edit2: mooooore lst! The branches are growig up so I push them to the floor. I also defoliate a little because some leaf on the internal didn't get enough light. This time the pH was a little under the range (less than 5.7) so I added the pH+ in the solution.

OGbros hello folks!
The plant looks good at the beginning of the 4th week of vegetative stage. I had a little issue with the pH level last week but it seems that is all alright. I continued with the lst: the branches are thick and strong. Every 3 days (more or less) I had to adjust the lenght and the position of the binding because the plant creates new internode in a short time. I decided to put the scrog net about 5 centimeters above the plant. All the net is self made because I didn't find a scrog net with the measure that I liked: so I bought 4 pvc tube (lenght= 1m) and I pierced it with nails every 7cm (more or less, I wasn't very accurate). In a few days I'll start to fill the net with the branches to promote an horizontal growth. I'm hopeful for the future😀

OGbros The plant looks good. In these days the temperature outside are very cold (about 5 celsius), but in the box there is a electric radiator connected to a control unit (inkbird): every time the temperature goes under 20.7 C the radiator turn on. Yesterday I broke the holding pulley of the lamp😰 so I had to hold it with a wire. it will remain that way for 2 days, I've already bought a new pulley from internet. Anyway I defoliated the purple punch to bring the light to the apicals. Every 3 days it puts out new leaf, incredible! I used 10ml of flora grow , 6ml of flora micro (hard water) 5ml of flora bloom and 5 ml of cal-mag directly in the solution
edit: I resolved the problem with the lamp. I top up the solution with 10l of water in wich I put 20ml of flora grow, 12ml of flora micro, 6ml of flora bloom and 10ml of cal-mag. I also used 10ml of pH- directly in the solution to lower the level of the pH (6.3-6.4 at the moment). Everything look ok😀

OGbros Let's get it stareted with the tucking process! I added 10 liters to the solution with 20ml of flora grow, 15ml of flora micro, 7ml of flora bloom and 10ml of calmag. I think in a few day from now (maximum a week) I'll switch the light cycle to 12/12. The surface of the scrog are full only for about 50% but the streching during the first weeks of flowering will be imporant.
Now outside there are about 3 C but the heater connected to the control unit (inkbird) is working so the temperature inside the growbox never goes down under 20 C.
edit: the first of december was the last day of veg. I increased the power of the lamp from 75% to 90%. I tucked under the screen all the apicals high enough to be lowered. I'm trying to follow the northern scrogger method. I expect that in the next weeks the plants will stretch a lot😋

OGbros Hi folks,
the ladies are in the first week of flowering stage. The pH was a little bit high (6.5 so at the limit!) so I added to the solution 30ml of pH down from Bionova (after that the pH was 6). Futhermore I add 10 l of water in wich I add:
20ml of floragrow
20ml of floramicro
15ml of florabloom
10ml of fulvic (ex diamond nectar)
10ml of essentials
I also add 30ml of piranha (mycorrhizae from Advance Nutrients)
In only two days from the beginning of the flowering stage it become noticeable the elongation of both plants (but more in Glookies). The MarsHydro fc-e 6500 is now at 100% of the power, and everything looks great

OGbros Hey guys,
The plants seem to be doing well, there was a little pH imbalance last week but it seems to be resolved. The Glookies stretched significantly more during the first week of flowering compared to the Purple Punch (most likely due to genetic differences). The latter indeed seems to be very compact and sturdy, a typical characteristic of indicas. I plan to do some defoliation on both plants around the twentieth day of flowering: I'll remove everything under the net and the leaves that cover the sites where the buds will form.

OGbros Hey everyone,
at the beginning of the third week of flowering, the Glookies started to form buds while the Purple Punch is a couple of days behind. From this point on, I don't think I'll continue to pull the branches under the SCROG net but will let them grow normally while the tops form. In a few days, I'll proceed with a defoliation and remove everything that isn't getting light under the net. One branch of the Purple Punch very close to the electric heater suffered heat burn damage, but there's not much I can do now; if I unplugged the heater, the temperature would drop to around 5 degrees when the lights are off. I'll update the week when I've done the defoliation.
edit day 17: I performed a defoliation of branches and leaves that weren't getting light under the SCROG, and it was a real drama: having the box with only one opening... Most likely, I'll change it next time for convenience with defoliations and bending, and also because it seems to struggle to hold the light. Plus, two wires from the net came off their respective screws because I did a shitty job💩💩💩. This will be a lesson for next time: I definitely need to make sure the net stays as low as possible. Unfortunately, I tied the net to a weight only on one side, which isn't enough to keep it low: the plants are pushing too much. In 2 days, I'll do the same defoliation I did on the Glookies to the Purple Punch. Right now, I don't think the plants will stretch much more, so I won't bend them under the net anymore; the stretching was important even though they are both indicas. If they had been two sativa genetics, they probably would have filled the entire available space. I'm satisfied being the first time I apply SCROG this way, but there's still a lot, a lot, a lot to improve👍
edit day 19: the SCROG has definitely broken, and I've decided to remove it; fortunately, it did its job. I was able to defoliate the Purple Punch more easily (easily is a way of saying because it's really a fucking jungle in there, and I couldn't even get my fingers in because of how many branches there were). The surface hasn't been completely filled: there are about 10cm left on the side of the Purple Punch and 20cm in front and 20cm behind both plants; it could have been better. Despite these issues, both seem to be doing well without signs of deficiencies or excess fertilization (the only exception being the branch with heat burns from the Purple Punch).

OGbros Hey everyone,
the plants seem to be doing well. Since I removed the SCROG, I don't think there have been many differences in the overall structure of the plants; they seem to be standing up even without the help of the net. The flowers have started to form, but I raised the light a few cm because the tips of the flowers on the Purple Punch were becoming albino due to too much light (which was causing the problem), while there were no issues with the Glookies. The plants are about 40 cm tall and are very similar in surface area, however, the Glookies has one week less of vegetative growth compared to the Purple Punch, which being heavily indica-dominant (10%-90%) has stretched less in the first weeks of flowering compared to the Glookies (30%-70%). The Purple Punch still appears to be more compact and branched compared to the other plant. I added 20 liters of water with the amount of nutrients mentioned above and finally added directly to the circulating solution 15 ml of pH- since the pH had reached a value of 6.6.
Edit day 25: I’m starting to smell a super sweet scent. The pH has stabilized around 5.9 before pouring 10l of water with the addition of
0.8ml/l of Floragrow
1.6ml/l of Floramicro
2.4ml/l of Florabloom
1ml/l of Calmag
The plants seem to be doing very well.👌

OGbros Hey growers,
I hope you had a good Christmas. On day 28, the plants are doing great and the smell is starting to get more intense: super sweet aroma, almost like cotton candy, incredible. I added the usual 10l of water with 8ml of tripac floragrow, 1.6ml of floramicro, and 2.4ml of florabloom. A few days ago, I bought the GHE Pro Bloom (formerly Biobloom) flowering booster, super concentrated. This is the first time I'm using this product, but I've heard good things about it here on the site. I used 2ml (0.2ml/l). I also raised the lamp a few centimeters (now it's about 30cm from the plants), since many tips of the buds were turning white. The lamp is a bit closer to some of the Glookies buds (<30cm) that stretched more than the others, but it seems a shame to sacrifice everything by raising the lamp for just a few taller branches. Overall, I have to say they are growing well; since last week, the difference in size of the buds is evident. I'm happy.
I'll check in a few days or next week, depending on whether anything changes. 😄
edit day 31: nothing important to report, I added to the solution 20l of water with 0.8ml/l of floragrow, 1.5ml/l of floramicro, 2.4ml/l of florabloom, 0.1ml/l of biobloom, and 0.5ml/l of cal mag (all from GHE). In the last week, they needed more water compared to the previous weeks.
edit day 34: I did a little defoliation on both plants, removing the leaves that were covering the flower sites at least superficially. When I was done, it looked like I had put my hands in glue; they were so sticky. Inside, both plants are a jungle; I should have cleaned them up a bit better during the vegetative stage (even the defoliation on the twentieth day of flowering was difficult due to the excessive number of branches that didn't allow me to get my hands in there): unfortunately, a lot of leaves and flowers aren't receiving light, which will be a lesson for the next cycle. Again, I added to the solution 10 liters of water with 0.8ml/l of floragrow, 1.5ml/l of floramicro, 2.4ml/l of florabloom, and 0.1ml/l of biobloom. The smell is really intense.

OGbros Hey everyone,
measuring the EC of the solution and finding it at 2.9, I decided not to add the usual fertilizers. A rising EC means that the plant isn't absorbing all the dissolved salts in the solution well: in this case, in my opinion, because the EC is too high, it has caused a calcium absorption blockage, a symptom that can be observed on some leaves of the purple punch. The deficiency could also be due to the fact that I haven't added cal mag to the solution in the last few days, and from experience, I can confirm that the tripack I use is lacking in it. I lean more towards the first hypothesis. In any case, I added 10 liters of water with 15ml of calmag.
Some leaves of the purple punch have turned purple along the edges (as you can see from the photos), I hope the plant turns purple; it would be the first time I grow a strain of that color. Maybe the not-too-high temperatures have helped the plant's production, but only time will tell. Both have too much foliage and buds under the surface that aren't getting light; it will be a lesson for me, it's true that it takes years to become strong!
I'll keep you updated.😇
edit day 40: I added another 10 liters of water to the solution without adding fertilizers because the EC hasn't gone down since last time. More leaves of the purple punch are turning purple, and this time even some of the glookies. I hope the buds of the purple get bigger because they are a bit too small. More than that, I hope there are no mold problems in the jungle of foliage under the canopy; that would really be a low blow. Damn me for not defoliating! Fingers crossed.💀

OGbros Hey everyone,
the girls are doing well and absorbing a lot of water, while the smell is very intense and extremely sweet. The purple punch keeps getting more and more purple, I find it very beautiful. In the past few days, I had a small issue related to over-fertilization and a slight calcium deficiency (I requested help on the site in the grow questions section), but the situation seems to have stabilized for the better. I added 20 liters of water with the amount of fertilizers written on it.
Now all that's left is to wait, what's done is done!
edit day 46: I returned to the ladies after 3 days and had an unpleasant surprise: the calcium deficiency hasn't resolved but rather worsened. The glookies suffered more than the purple, but the latter also had some issues regarding it. Some leaves have curled (fortunately few, probably less than 5) and most have started showing the deficiency. At least, I believe it's a calcium deficiency. Three days ago, I gave 10ml in 20 liters of solution that I added, but apparently, it wasn't enough. This time I gave another 10 liters of water with the amount of fertilizers from the beginning of the week but increased the calmag dose to 2ml/l. I hope the situation doesn't get worse.
Not being able to see the plants every day and having to do it secretly is quite a pain in the ass 😟
But it has to be done anyway 💪

OGbros Hey everyone
The leaf problem hasn't worsened; it seems that adding calcium was a good idea. At one point, I was seriously worried it was leaf septoria, which would have been a disaster all around—I don't even want to think about it. In the last few days, I've noticed that the buds have gotten quite a bit bigger, especially the Glookies ones. The smell, as always, is very intense.
On day 49, I added 20 liters of water to the solution, and this time I significantly reduced the fertilizers since I overdid it a bit in the previous weeks (you can tell by the leaf tips). Plus, the EC was definitely too high again. This time, I also added 2ml/l of final part (formerly ripen), even though the recommended dose is 4ml/l, but I don't want to overdo it with the fertilizers again since the harvest is getting closer. I hope there are no further issues, even though my partner said we "need to talk." Most likely, we’ll have to shut down the grow to avoid legal consequences. Thanks to the mafia state I live in, where if you grow a plant, you're treated like a criminal, and if you sell weapons, you're a hero.

OGbros Hey everyone,
I haven't seen the plants for 6 days and I have to say that the flowers have further swollen and the smell is intense. The leaf issue hasn't spread, which is why the calcium deficiency hypothesis was correct (thanks @GrowingGrannie for the suggestion). The leaves around the tops of the purple punch have turned completely dark purple, truly a feast for the eyes. The tops of the glookies from the 4 main branches (you can see the branches in the photo with the lighter) are huge, and they look super compact. They’re definitely going to be delicious.
This time I've always added 10 liters of water (another 10 liters were given on day 53 by my partner whom I thank tvb😘) with the addition of 2ml/l of Final part (formerly Ripen). I was unsure whether to keep giving nutrients until the end or gradually decrease (which I did) until I only gave Final part for the last few weeks, then do a "cleaning," if we want to call it that, in the last days with Flora kleen. Speaking of root flush, I'm pasting a very interesting article on this topic that discusses a study conducted by Jonathan Stemeroff, who wrote a thesis for the University of Guelph (Canada) for his Master in Environmental Science entitled Irrigation Management Strategies for Medical Cannabis in Controlled Environments.
link:
https://www.alchimiaweb.com/blogen/flushing-roots-myth-reality/
I looked at the trichomes with a 30x magnifier but they're not ready yet. I noticed a couple of amber ones, but they were on the leaves and not on the buds where they mature a bit later. I believe that in about two weeks it will be time to harvest, I can't wait!

OGbros Hey everyone,
on day 65 I replaced all the solution in the pots. After taking everything out, I added 20 liters of tap water with 2ml/l of flora kleen (GHE). I didn't adjust the pH (which in my area is above 7.5 for tap water) since there are no dissolved salts to absorb. In a few days, it will be harvest time; it's going to be a task to clean all those buds...
PS the photos taken on day 66 were done with another phone.

OGbros Gentlemen,
the day of the harvest has finally arrived!
The plants were cut branch by branch and trimmed while still wet, then I hung them to dry in a 80x80x160 box with a dehumidifier set to 50% humidity. The temperature in the box is about 19 degrees. I forgot to take a photo of the hanging buds, but it took 6 hours and the hands of 3 people to clean both plants. The weight of the wet trim is about 1kg, my partner will try to make some smoke out of it. The smell of the flowers is insane 😍
Wooooooo it has been a crazy journey, I had a blast 😂
In the next few days, I will update the diary with the final results. 👍

OGbros Once taken out of drying and weighed, the total dry weight was 247 grams. I have no idea how much it weighed when wet.
The plant had a life of 40 days of vegetative + 70 days of flowering (counting the vegetative start from when the sprout emerged).
Assurda

OGbros The weight of the dry product after drying was 343 grams. For now, it's the plant that has yielded the most for me overall, I'm very happy.
In conclusion:
650w
1.44 m^2
purple punch: 247g
glookies: 343
TOT: 590g
A little less than 1g/w but I consider myself satisfied. There were many mistakes and there's a lot of room for improvement, and the numbers are already very promising!
Good luck Bro! Enjoy every day en do the best you can! Only then you will enjoy them the most... and they'll give you what you wanted in the first place 😋
@OGbros, You guys KILLED IT this time man. INSANE work, Beautiful flower, Beautiful plant structure & look at those giants! I did some in DWC and under current like this back in 2013 that got away from me and the roots got too big and choked out before they could finish I was so sad. Seeing you finish off plants like this is amazing, I can't wait to see the final yield & bud shots.
Killer grow. Outstanding really. I like to often go a couple of weeks past the seed banks recommendation. It sure pays off. I’m growing 5 of them right now. Day 40 of flower. Love the Glookies. Although I haven’t smoked any yet. Can’t wait. Check out my grow if you like. Lots of purple!!
