Out with the old in with the new. I removed my other purple ghost candy diary because she just isn’t going to make it unfortunately but just be patient I just popped another PGC yesterday and placed it in a root cube. Due to my first attempt going south I started germ on 2 seeds that I thought were white widow but turns out I have no clue what they are but they never popped. I paper toweled them as I always do. Nothing after a few days. Soaked in water for a day then back in paper towel and still nothing. So I decided to give Green crack another run and started one but that one screwed up so another one and here we are in the pics. I’ll probably start the new PGC mid week after she pops out the cube
She really took off this week. Added a top dress of earth dust boost. Supposed to do it a week before flower so hopefully I’m good. Haven’t watered it yet but it’s worked into soil
Been busy so didn’t check how much she stretched. Not doing as good as I’d hoped. I have another green crack auto I’m not doing a diary on cuz she stunted and she is doing terrible, I think it’s my soil cuz I didn’t amend it like I should have and the soil doesn’t drain as good as this one I’m doing the diary on. Oh well lesson learned
Alright alright alright. Bumped her uv light schedule up to an hour. I personally think she looks great but I shared on FB and I have someone saying it’s foxtailing everywhere! Don’t get me wrong I see what they are trying to say is foxtailing but I’ve had plants foxtail on me and that I don’t consider foxtail. Let me know what y’all think, I am still new to growing
I guess dude was right about it foxtailing but I don’t care and I don’t think I can do anything about anyway. My light is at 50%. She is only getting 600 ppfd and I’d have to check again but I know the DLI is under 30, I want to say it was 25 or 26. Temps never go above 76° lights on but typically stay at 74°. Idk if it is light stress then i don’t understand how ppl run these high wattage lights. Maybe I’ll try the co2 bottle again
Alright alright alright. She is bout there folks. I’m sure some would chop now but I’m looking for amber and we are just cloudy at this point. We got a nice fade going so I’ve stopped feeding. She has some grow dots so she shouldn’t starve but I don’t want to get her anymore liquid nutes. I’m thinking another 2 weeks and we chop on the 21st possibly. I think I have the 31th marked on the calendar as right around the 10 week mark for flowering
She is really eating them leaves up now. I just watered for a minute and think I went a lil too long doing it causing the fade a tad early. Regardless she is bout ready, some would probably go ahead and chop but I’m still not satisfied with the amber I’m getting but she close. Had trouble uploading pics cuz I’m at work with bad signal
Ok so she is foxtailing but I could care less. They are just tasty tumors lol. I just can’t get over the buds on this auto. Seedsman I need more green crack auto seeds 😉😂
Just watering this week. She has very lil amber but I’m not going past next Sunday.
Unfortunately she has continued to foxtail and I credit that to my ph sucking and the ph has been a battle. So pretty much what I’m saying is I think she could have done much much better if I had more experience. I’m looking forward to my next auto challenge
After doing this update I was watering some clones and I just realized why my girls are acting weird. Somehow how all 3 of my autos have hermed. Idk what I did wrong. Chopped one and chopping the other 2 tomorrow after work. Man I’m disappointed I screwed this up
Ok sorry I’m been super busy and lots of personal drama keeping me from finishing this diary.
Ok I’m pretty sure she hermed because I screwed up and feed a full 5mg/gal dose of ripen after starving her thinking she be done. Lesson learned.
Besides that I think she turned out good. Haven’t smoked yet cuz curing. Not sure if her herming is gonna affect the taste but hopefully I found them all. It was pretty bad. Sorry no pics of it cuz I just felt like a moron and it was late when I found them.
Anyway regardless I’ll be getting more of these seeds and fem for future
Most autos don't look that good .....my opinion of course. But you did a good job. Sometimes genetics are to blame other than the Gardner but thats something we just have to understand with so many genetics variables and a plant that wants to keep its genetics alive for the next grow season. Good job 👏
Looking good! Keep up the good work! I used to get some green crack when I was younger. I wonder what the flavor profile is and how she smokes. Brings back some memories!
