Hello. This is the end of 10 weeks of flowering. The end of this grow. OK. One last look at these beauty's. The Dos Si Dos grew and flowered well. Cut down tomorrow. I cut off a branch, weight it, then wet trim it, hang it for 3 days and then cut the buds of the branches into paper bags. I fill the paper bags with 2 to 3 inches of buds before I hang it for a week on the same lines I hung the branches on, and then open the bag and check. Spread the middle buds and determine if the buds are dry enough. If the buds are still a bit damp then rehang for a few more days. When the buds are dry then they are cured too. The bag holds the ethaline (gas) that the drying buds give off, and that, cancels out the bitterness of the chlorophyll. Leave some buds out of the bag and just dry them and then test, for yourself the difference between the buds dried in bags and those that were not, in taste and and smell. You can cure longer in the jars if you want, but I've found that I don't need to if I've dried the buds in the bags. I be back in a couple of weeks with the finished report and smoking report too because the buds will be cured. Till then. Chuck.

@Ancient_Genetics, Hi Buddy. Yes, my friend did really good on his grow this year. Last year, the autumn had bad weather, this year the autumn has been perfect for flowering cannabis. I was hoping the mustache would help you smile. Best wishes to you and yours's. Chuck.

@PrivateStock, I grew up in the land race era, I've been growing indoors for about 30 years now. I'm really liking all the new flavors that have been coming out in the last few years. This Dos Si Dos #33 is the strongest in my collection now and tastes great like fruity ice cream. Ok Buddy. Have Fun. Chuck.

Hi, I found this, because I asked me the same.. Hummingbirds in the cool high altitudes of the Andes become astonishingly cold torpor at night, researchers report. To conserve energy, one species in this condition, called torpor, lowers its body temperature to as much as 3.3 degrees Celsius, the measurements showed. This is the lowest body temperature ever measured in living birds, the scientists say.

@KingSalomonsWeed, Aren't they just amazing. The local Indians say they are our ancestors come to visit us. To see the males fight over the feeders, you would think they are little warriors. And they can live 12 to 14 years, incredible for 3 gram birds. Life at 100 km/hour, it's hard to imagine. I've tried to imagine to what it would be like to draw yourself out of torpor each morning. Is it like a deep sleep or harder to get out of, or easier. What would humming birds dream about if torpor is a dream state. I have so many questions. Just amazed. Chuck.
