After 2 days in the Germinator box and 1 day planted in coco she was born - a healthy little seedling. I have no idea what genetics she has got, and it is exciting to see how she'll turn out.
I had to hook them up to auto feeding already at day 1 since I had to go away for a few days. They survived and are now a week old. I didn't fill the pot up with coco to keep the plants a bit smaller.
When peeking into the tent one day, I thought it looked brighter than expected. The dimmer was set to 100% instead of the intended 30% I must have turned the knob with my hat or something while leaning into the tent.... I burnt both my seedlings. That sucks! I immediately germinated a new seed. So, the new girl was born today. I'll keep the other one for as long as I can fit it inside the tent.
So, #1 is growing badly as expected after the light burn. #2 is doing alright and is now 7 days old. #2 is the new prime plant, #1 will not be prioritised from now on.
#1 has been quadlined. I kept nodes 3 and 4.
I've done some training to the girls this week. The larger plants have got their branches trained downwards. The smalle plants have had the first topping done in preparation of being mainlined.
The new plant is a bit weak. I have started mainlining it anyway. We'll see how she will handle it. The first plant is starting to look ok. She's not going to get big, but should be ok.
Thanks to the flu I haven't had the strength to update the diary. I have barely been able to keep the plants alive. The second plant had problems and was removed. This girl, on the other hand, has developed some seriously frosty buds. She also smells very strongly and is very sticky to touch.
We're at the final rush before the.finish line. We still see some bud development so I'll let her go a bit longer. I had to give her a spraying to get rid of some bugs. Hopefully they're gone now...
She is almost ready now. I'll give her a few more days before the chop, I want to see a bit more cloudy trichomes before she'll be hung for a few eeeks.
