This my second grow. Had to abandon 1st. Going to try growing 2 plants in 2x2. American Pie and another Northern Lights. Paper towel to peat pellets. Under Sunlipo 120w veg mode at 30in. 70%. I now own 2 Sunlipo LED and love em.

Day 9 Going well. Placed in permanent pots. Day 11 Looking small and droopy compared to Northern Lights. But only second attempt and new straun. Watered around seedling. Coco completely dry. Added air minimal air circulation with USB fan. Very gentle and not pointed at plants.

Things going much better second time around. Down to one. Other was not growing well at all. Think I got water on leaves and it left burn spots. Watering with filtered water. Boil to remove any remaining chlorine. PH 6.3

Very happy with my progress on this new grow. I think we are out of seedling and into veg. Switched lighting to veg/bloom. Growing fast. Pushing 3in height and 5in wide. Planning on the wife getting me a 2x4x6 tent for my bday. Have not decided on brand yet. Thinking Spider Farmer. I definitely need more room. Day 27 from seed started LST after seeing 5th node. Also started light folier feedings.

Continuing LST. Light nuts. Going well. Day 31 Uping notes. Yellowing in lower leaves. A little shell shocked about nutrients from 1st grow which was too soon and too much. Day 33 Looking good. Added Uprising Grow and Foundation top dress. Foliar spray every 3 days or so. Day 34 Taking to the nutes well. Some burn on lowest leaves. Continuing LST. Not sure but I think I see pistols.

Things going well. Seems like American Pie strain does not need quite as many nutes as NL. Only second grow and the learning curve is steep. The difference between 2 plant is cool to see. Having fun learning a lot. Many pistils beginning to show. Lightening up the foliar sprays. Alternating extreme serene and ancient amber weekly. 12/6 First deep watering. CalMag and Oregonism. Top dress with Uprising Grow and Foundation. 12/10 This is my first Sativa. And third plant. This thing is lanky. LST is helping a lot. But I do have a Spider Farmer tent on way. 28x55x80 so hopefully this makes growing Sativas (most) a non issue.

Great week. Got my Birthday present. Spider Farmer 28x55x80. Wow. I love. Switching up tents was a LOT MORE work than I thought. 12/16 Busy week. Plants growing vigouasly. Definitely less nutes needed for American Pie. Big tent is a blessing. Thank you Spider Farmer. Did add too many nites this morning. It was 5:30am and was getting ready for work. Flushed immediately and seems like I may have dodged a bullet.

I am not clear when I should switch to flower nutes? Auto plants. Look amazing. Week 6. Are there specific indicators that would tell me to switch? I am doing LST and the plants do not seem to have started stretching yet. Both plants are about 5-6 in tall. Thanks!

You tend to switch to flower nutrients when the plants enter flower or start to stretch. If you plans did not stretch to much, you can tell when they are in flower by the grouping of pistils from the flowers. I would switch to flower nutrients now giving your plants are in flower. I have had some plants stretch a lot and some not a lot. Mainly because I used heavy LST and the stretch I though was normal growth. If I let them grow like normal Christmas tree style growth I can 100% see the stretch. In short, your plants are in flower now, you should be using your flower nutrients now, not all plants stretch the same, maybe they where shocked into early flower as well by something, Autos are picky buggers at times. 12/19 switching to flower nutes and adjusting to bloom lighting. Not seeing any stretch. Took off most tie downs. Holding the main cola down until the rest catches up. Lots of trichomes starting to show up around bud sites. Pretty stoked!

Good week. Had a few things that concerned me but what a community. Ask a question. Get a few realy good answers. Thank you. Plants are really frosty. I think they look really good. Took a very limited amount of leaves off. Made a huge difference. Did not know those bud sites were under there. Fed them today and looking forward to what comes next! Shout out to Nugsery, m0use and GrowingGrannie. Thank you.

I need help. Leaves are turning yellow at top of plant only. And only on American Pie. Not Northern Lights. I am using a Sonlipo SPC2500. Bloom mode. Is it possible to have lower ppfd levels and still get light burn? Thanks in advance.

i don't think that is light burn. leaves look crispy, glossy -- overfed. pH or nute lockout probably. marijuana brand nutes often instruct way too high of doses... professional Ag brands don't do that. i would suggest resetting your persepective on nutrients. Try a simple run with normal Ag products and not the overpriced marijuana branded stuff... see that the same ingredients used at lower prices will have the same effects, LOL. Like, avoid "athena" where you spend 300-400 $ for products you can get for 100... AN is even worse.. probably 5-6x more expensive with all that diluted nutrient product and its water weight... and split up into 12 products for no reason other than to bilk ppl out of their money that don't know any bettr, but will adamantly argue that it's worth it... lol.

Rough week for the American Pie. I way overfeeding last week. Flushed once. Just ph water from here on out. Still clear/cloudy on trichomes. Seems to be OK and growing but looks awful. Interesting that the Northern Lights was not affected nearly as much.

Continue with ph water. Doing well. Very discolored but otherwise healthy. Definitely putting on mass. Very dense colas. And very frosty. Not seeing much if any amber. Checking every 2-3 days.
