Not much to say except the girls are recovering from the dose of severe light burn I gave them. Also, too hot in baggies. Be careful if you have a remote with your light. Very nice feature just make sure the cat 🐈 cat doesn't step on it. DAMN CAT! This is the end of week 3

After the heat stress these plants are recovering nicely. There was a time when I thought I would only get 1. Plants 1 and 3 were the least affected then #2 and #4 (UNIQUE) Stress apparently topped this plant and I think it will produce 3 colas right out of the box. I will start Micro on day 29 Roots just coming thru the expanded clay. I am preparing to lower the water level in a few days to give as much "air gap" as possible.

These girls loved the last 7 days, they have at least doubled in size. All appear to be healthy and finally loving life. However, they are showing some signs of deficiances. I am changing the nutrients tonight and going to start a moderate feed ppm. I will add a small amount of Magnesium. I have noticed that even with the Cal-Mag, my plant need a bit extra.

All of these girls appear healthy. They are on slightly different timelines. #1, #2 and # 3 got topped. #2 has been topped from birth. Hopefully everything will even up. I did add some extra Magnesium. I am speculating that I am a little short early on and late in my grow life cycles. Bright yellow tips again. I am narrowing it down to light stress. Also had some leaf curl just as I moved the lights down and turned them up. Going to lower scrOG and try to get some good growth before flowering.

Growing is never boring to me but not tons going on with the girls. I am starting to see some really nice branch development. Hesitant but I am going to start some really mild Pest Prevention. Light mist with Neem oil, top bottom and media. ScrOG is out 18" from the floor about 12" from the plants. I shortened it. I am not worried about filling it up. Going to try working in 4's. Four nodes, 1 branch (4 ScrOG squares) 4 shoots off each branch to flower and 4 bud sites on every flowering stem. I'm sure most is because of my inexperience but there is a bunch of fluff that starts, even on great plants, below 4 nodes. Don't get me wrong... my fluff has been very useable both to smoke and edibles. But I get a charge out of beautiful firm buds. Again, I am determined not to over Veg these plants. I want to see how earlier flowering goes. Changed reservoir

I would love to have all kinds of comments to make here but I don't. Again, girls have been growing up nicely. Gonna try and flower in about 10 days. Very light leaf removal. I want to attempt to enter flower at full speed. Reservoir change. Upped ppm slightly and began adding some bloom nutrients. I am just terrified of overdoing everything. It is soooo very easy to do. PM with weak solution of neem oil and water. Sprayed at night to include soil. Wild fluctuations in Humidity. Unfortunately, I see a dehumidifier in my future. I can see that I might like a netting with smaller holes. These are 4". Not a problem, I think my ScrOG is sort of quasi ScrOG/Trellis. I just don't like doing tons to the plants.

Pushed these ladies into flower cycle and they appear to be digging it. I am still crafting my techniques and I like the Veg time I used... however, these girls may have benefited from a longer Veg stage. I always need to make sure I have enough to smoke which is a ton :) but quantity is not a real issue. I lean towards letting plants develop naturally as I can even under the ScroG. Some may say why ScroG at all? That's a very good question. I think for me it is control and I can manipulate production a little bit. No signs of pest... I don't think? I will spray again this week. Plants entered flower stage very healthy. Reservoir change to start flower stage. I know bunches of folks say don't defoliate during or right before flower. I don't know about this? Still experimenting. I did do some very light defoliation 3 days after flower cycle started. I will leaf pick throughout flower and in about 2 weeks then II will begin to isolate the bud sites I will try to flower and clean the plant up considerably. (If anyone gets this far and cares to comment I would like your thoughts on defoliation.)

Everyone is healthy. One girl seems to be lagging behind just a little. Oddly enough she was the one off to the fastest start. I am being very cautious not to give too much Nitrogen. At least that's my goal. Uptake of nutrients is really good. All girls drinking bunches of water. Cleaning the plants up at the end of this week. These gals are growing very dense. I try to balance with my defoliation and leave more than most folks say. As I go through flowering phase, I leaf pick as needed. About 2 weeks before harvest they look very close to being lollipopped. Also, by harvest I don't have near as much trimming because most everything is gone some fan leaves in the colas. I'm excited about this grow. My fingers are crossed. I hope they finish nicely.

Plants are still chugging along. At times I think the grow is slow, but I have come to recognize my impatience. As I move into the 2nd round germination for a perpetual grow. Some decisions about ScrOG technique will have to be addressed. That being said my ScrOG has just about turned into sort of LST and Trellis which I enjoy. It gives me some traditional looking grows and depending on how the plants Veg, can give me a few to a good number of extra bud sites and or branches. I do enjoy the extra harvest but yeild is not exactly tops on my list. Nice bud sites are developing. I still need to clean up under the net a bit more. I am continuing to leaf pick, more sparingly now, until the plants have a nice balance of fan leaves. I have a mixture of very old all the way to the newest of new. Just taking ones that are covered up or that are covering up. May be wrong but I am going to keep my ppm under 1000 for the entire grow. My plants look healthy. Stations or sites on my RDWC obviously pool some nutrients. 2 plants are on point with color and 2 are just a tad lacking. Even though I am still going to stay low on nutrients, especially as I grow through flower. Most of my problems have been from too much sauce! I wondered if I was going to get much smell... and yes, I am actually beginning to smell some citrus and a hint of orange. Super Cool! Really nice when they are agitated.🙏😝🙏

Wow... turned the filter off while I worked to clean up below the net and got an incredible "fermenting orange" smell. Really nice. Also, AC Infinity 6" exhaust doing great. I was beginning to wonder if these girls were going to use any perfume. Very Very nice. Not as even of canopy as I wanted but I sort of "screwed the pooch" on the ScrOG. One plant sort of stayed small and they all have been very thick and bushy and have and do need fairly consistent attention. Peaking @ around 1000 ppm to start this Res. change off. I will let them level off to about 800 ppm and I will slowly decrease until I harvest. They are probably at peak when it comes to drinking water. The ppm levels stay about even. That tells me that the plants are on point with consumption... I think? I now have a new 6 x 6 home that will eventually be used as a flower room in a perpetual grow. Well almost" have" new home. I still have to get a light and ventilation. Thinking about EZ- 8 (Medic Grow) if you have read this far, do you have any thoughts? I think these are going to be some decent plants if I can get them home healthy.

This strain in fun. Still giving very nice over ripe 🍊 oranges scent. 2 of phenos are showing some deep purples. For the most part everyone is about equal in size and color. They look healthy. I'm just going to continue on and slowly cut back my nutrients. Especially nitrogen. I will continue to leaf pic until harvest. I planted new run today.

I am being lazy with my comments but honestly there is not much to say. I think the girls are pleased and going to put on a nice bloom. Cutting back on nitrogen. Still not going crazy with nutrients. One day... One day I may give it all a try but for now simple seems to work for me. Temps and Humidity are everywhere. Solutions are on my wish list. Almost finished with a 6 x 6 flower room. I am still working out some logistics. Next run will be needing some intense Veg lighting soon. Oh, note to self. Decide on a damn light soon! Beautiful orange smell. Reminds me of late season orange groves in South Florida when I was a kid. Purplish/pinkish color very prominent in all but one of the 4. I'm stoked. I don't really know what to expect from the end game. I can't wait to find out.

The plants are beginning to put on a show. Tent is getting all purpled up with some nice trichomes. Not much to say but the garden is beginning to be a lot to look at. I do wish I would have vegd a little different. I have a really nice second wave of heads that with some more vegging may have turned into some top colas. I am still happy with everyone's progress.👍 Rendered oranges is still the smell that I get. Also, it is getting stronger each week. Without fan going with filter the smell is heavy and very strong. One plant developing curled sugar leaves. See grow question. Not going to do anything as plant and other plants appear healthy.😐 Still decreasing with nutrients... very slowly until harvest. I thinking they have about a month left. We will see. 🙏🙏🙏

Curled Sugar Leaves. In RDWC, others not showing. Fans leaves not showing. Doesn't seem to affect too adversely but the plant is slightly smaller. I have noticed in previous grows. Any ideas 4 my future grows? Thanks 😊 Growmies!

genetics .. seems to happen when rails of trichomes form along edge, in my expeience. otherwise the typical things that can cause "tacoing" can be ruled out to be more certain. plant looks healthy in that 1 picture, though, so as longn as it looks healthy i'd go with genetics. you can't force this sort of trichome development... we can only impact small percentages. like red vs blue wavelengths.. yes one promotes axillary growth but it's not a huge impact. important to know scale of effect to deal with it appropriately. you'll never be able to force feed aplant like foie gras and make this outcome happen... only some plants have this trait... it may or may not be correlated to good things.. you'd need lab equipment and large sample sizes to compare to a control group of some sort to discern... devil's advocate .. what if all the leaf trichome development leeches from buds? probably not true, but can't just assume cause and effect cause we like the outcome either.

The smell is very unique. I love it. Of course, as RB sez I Love Marijuana. Room is filled with over ripe orange smells. The buds are really putting on some weight, as well as some good trichome development. They are still drinking the crap out of some water, also they are naturally slowing down on Nutrient consumption. I am going to be very cautious as I go into these last few weeks. All but one of the plants (the one with curled leaves) have turned a really dark almost black purple. I love it. I am a novice with little strain experience. This grow is one of the first that has shown really prominent purple color. Man... weather is warming up. With that comes some challenges in my grow spaces. I have to get dehumidify and Cooler temps for my spring and summer grows if I am going to have any consistent success. Do your thang girls... I'm waiting.

The branches are pushing out because of weight gain in the buds. I have noticed different style of buds for each different strain. This particular plant puts on a thick, short fat nug the petals look fat and juicy. Gosh, I'm ready. I haven't checked the trikes yet... I guess I should. I still think they need a couple more weeks. Not much change. I stopped the Grow nutrient altogether. Which in turn lowered the ppm to around 700. They are still drinking tons and visibly putting on weight. I will continue lowering the Nutrients. Some of the larger fan leaves started changing colors sort of a mottled purple, green camouflage. I will grab a few leaves in a few places, but these girls are for the most part... on their own. Still smelling lovely. Temperatures are killing me. February and we are in the 80's with 75% humidity. I am going to try a small window a/c in the adjacent room to see how that works out. Trying not to spend more damn money. I have the window a/c already. The Hole where it is going vents under the house in a crawl space. Hopefully this is a perfect fit. If you have read this far and have any suggestions, drop me a line.

Getting very close now. Really made progress with some growth last week and the trichomes are about 1/2 and 1/2 clear/cloudy. I like to try and harvest about the time they start to amber up which I think will be sometime in the next week. Really great colors, purples, browns, greens, yellows. lots of purps considering my grow area doesn't see any cool temperatures. Smell is present and strong remained the same throughout with increase in intensity and the addition of some fuel smell. Too me this is a very pleasant smell. Also, my first experience with this bud structure. I like it. I believe I will get some nice solid weight from them. As with any weed, I am drooling with smoke anticipation.

Changing nutrients to just water in a couple of days and going to harvest. These babies smell great. Very heavy and dense. Showing some nice color and I am beginning to see some amber in the trichomes. I will run just water, turn the lights out and harvest. As you can see, I have others knocking on the door.

Thanks to everyone who checked in on me. I appreciate your comments, support and fellowship. Best of luck with your future endeavors. 👍 I have enjoyed growing this Strain by Elev8 seeds. Really healthy once I got them up and running. I have love the over ripe or rendered orange smell that these girls have. Really heavy in early flower and then sort of tapered off. Nice, thick, healthy stalks and branches. Short and Stocky. I will definitely grow these again and give them just a little more Veg time. The buds formed as expected and are very fat and dense. I think I will get some nice weight and appearance out of these flowers. Purples, to yellows, to pinks. I am excited to smoke. Going to plan on about 16 days and then in the jars.
