peterkleber7 The ladies were now at Day 3 in there new tent with full power LED light (250W). The dimming tool should come in the next week. After later realizing that the clock from the LED was wrong set up, so that the ladies got 1 full week of light without "sleeping" (24h light, 0h darkness) But anyway the plants look healthy and new with the dimmer tool the ladies are growing very fast.

peterkleber7 The setup is now completed and the issues with my light cycle were corrected to 18/6 again. The SANLIGHT Evo 4 is now dimmed to 40% power and I would say around 50 cm away from the plants. Our plants love the new lamp already, although we missed the 18/6 cycle for almost 7 days, the ladies are growing up very fast. They look still dark green and the first thing I will be adding when I am watering next time is Root-Juice by BioBizz. In 7-10 days, the plants will be planted in ~ 5 or 7 liter pots with their new earth mix as I mentioned above. (Day 11) Tag 15 the plants have received a growth spurt and are enjoying the optimal setup.

peterkleber7 DAY 19: My ladies are looking very good. They now have the typical Indica phenotype. Next time, the sweet ones will be repotted into a 5L pot. I'll be adding mycorrhiza and fertilizer in the form of fish stuff for the first time. I'll move the chili away and increase the light intensity to 60%. DAY 21: Finally, I was able to check on my girls again. I see a few deficiencies that occurred due to lack of time. The plants were a bit underwatered, which is simply due to the small pot. Still, the roots are very strong and have a great color. I will probably give the girls a new 5 or 7-liter pot on day 22/23. Today, I added fertilizer in the form of fish stuff for the first time. I also added some effective microorganisms. My pH/EC meter has arrived, and I was able to adjust the pH when watering with a bit of vinegar. I'm using tap water with a pH between 7.5 - 8. A few milliliters of vinegar were enough. Unfortunately, I had to realize that the salt content in the tap water is about 375 ppm, which is clearly too high. If anyone has an idea on how to lower the ppm, I look forward to more comments. The lamp was also raised today from 40% power to 60% power. I wish everyone a nice Sunday; hopefully, you don't have to deal with the problems described above. But at least I know how to fix the issues 90%.

peterkleber7 DAY 21: Finally, I was able to give the plants a new pot (7l). I mixed the soil myself with the following proportions: potting soil (70%), perlite (15%), coconut (10%), compost (5%). For each plant, I added about 2 teaspoons of mycorrhiza, 3 cups of rock dust, a bit of zeolite, and a few milliliters of effective microorganisms. The plants themselves looked a bit droopy before due to lack of water and the pot size. This should improve in the next 48 hours. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to repot the plants earlier. Still, I'm satisfied with the result because the roots look very strong and healthy. I'm curious about the next 2 weeks to see how quickly the plants can root in their new 7-liter pots. The plants have developed very nice side shoots, and I plan to try some LST and top 2 out of 6 plants next week. I won't top the remaining 4 plants but will guide the main stem in the desired direction using HST. DAY 24: It looks like the ladies like their new pots. One plant in the foreground (right) shows a nutrient deficiency, which I attribute to the late repotting and thus too small pot size. These first leaves were no longer supplied by the plant and were directed into the new shoots. The new leaves look good, are a strong green, and I can hardly detect any deficiencies. Unfortunately, I'm a bit worried about the temperature. The heater is acting up, so I need to get a heating blanket or a space heater. Since repotting, no watering has been done, and I plan another watering session on DAY 25. DAY 26: Today, I applied training methods for the first time. I started with a bit of LST, but I was missing garden wire. So, I went straight to HST. The main stem and all side shoots were worked on and look good so far. I also removed all the leaves that were touching the soil.

peterkleber7 Today I finally had some time to take care of my plants again. I added Fish-Mix and CalMag to the watering water and sprayed the plants with "Cannacare" from Canna as a precaution (from the bottom and top). Additionally, I continued with LST and HST, as can be clearly seen in the pictures. A couple of leaves were also removed since the Indica phenotype has very large leaves and steals too much light from the young side shoots.

peterkleber7 Hello friends :) I continued the HST this week and I'm not quite sure why the side branches aren't as strong as I'd like them to be. It was probably way too late to top the main stem in week 7, so the side branches could get more energy. For my taste, the green could be a bit richer, but the feeding should be on point. I hope that by Monday the 7L pots are fully rooted so I can transplant the ladies into 27L pots and switch to Flower. I look forward to comments and suggestions. See you soon 😎

peterkleber7 The plants have recovered well from last week's overwatering. Now a stronger nutrient deficiency was noticeable, which was treated with 20 ml Fish Mix, 20 ml Bloom, and 5 ml CalMag. There's still a bit of soil missing with perlite, but the pots are 75% full, which is still okay at this stage. A fan and a dehumidifier will be added next week. Overall, it looks a bit chaotic because I topped the main stem way too late. I'll know better for the next grow.

peterkleber7 The second week of flowering has begun, and the plants have handled the nutrient deficiency quite well. A fan is moving in this week along with a dehumidifier. A new even net will also be installed, and then I will sort out some shoots to get nice big buds. I'm always open to comments - Please also check out the previous week, as there are a few better pictures that represent the current situation better than here. I will strive for a good qualitative overview next time. DAY 63: Finally, the fan and two dehumidifiers have moved into the box. The fan is running at full speed and is constantly rotating. The plants look super healthy and have tolerated the nutrients well. The fertilization was done according to the BioBizz scheme and switched to Flower.

peterkleber7 Tag 71: Today I gave the ladies a good watering with the fertilizers mentioned above. The plants look super and have a dark, vibrant green. I installed a second SCROG net and have already started sorting the individual shoots. I removed quite a few leaves from below the leaf jungle and a few smaller shoots as well. It looks like there are too many shoots that are blocking each other's light. Humidity is currently a big problem ~ 80%. On Thursday, a dehumidifier will come into the tent, and that should solve the problem. As can be seen in the pictures, there are already two granulate-based dehumidifiers in the tent that are obviously overwhelmed by the amount of water. That said, the plants are extremely strong and growing fast. The tower fan runs 24/7 at max power, and without it, mold would have already appeared a long time ago. All in all, a good week, as I can already see the first signs of shoots. Until next week. Chö 🙏

peterkleber7 Day 79: Hello friends of the sun Today I finally managed to get my humidity under control. After I got a too weak dehumidifier, it has now been replaced with a strong device. The plants look healthy and strong and have good flower sites. I water every 2-3 days and once a week with the fertilizer as mentioned above. The two SCROG nets have created an even surface. So far, I have removed a lot of leaves and flowers and new shoots, so-called lollipopping. This way, all the energy goes into the strong, even shoots. I’m excited for the next few weeks. See you soon.

peterkleber7 Day 88: Good morning friends :) Everything looks great right now. The dehumidifier keeps the humidity constant at 52% RH. The plants have gained quite a bit of height and weight since last week and are already looking pretty frosty. A couple of leaves are signaling a slight nutrient deficiency, which I can probably fix by fertilizing twice. The ladies are drinking a lot of water, but the dehumidifier is also pulling a lot from the air. About 500-1000ml per day. The smell isn't very strong yet, to my luck. However, the plants are already very resinous and sticky. See you next week.

peterkleber7 DAY 116. Hello sun friends The ladies look good overall. However, there are increasingly pest eggs on the leaves. So far, some leaves are affected, but visible damage has not yet occurred. A few leaves are extremely covered with translucent resin; I suspect it's a defense reaction from the plant. Partially, the bud growth is surprisingly slow. But that could also be due to the distribution of the branches. The branches are stealing too much light from each other.

peterkleber7 DAY 136: Hello friends, the harvest is coming soon :) Partially, the ladies look like they want to be transformed into smoke soon. Strangely, the plants developed differently. Even though the same conditions are present in the tent and only one plant has a smaller pot, two plants developed well while the remaining plants are rather mediocre. The Candy Kush on the right in the foreground is extremely productive, has developed massive buds, and strangely, it’s almost as heavy as all the other plants combined... That said, there will always be something that can be improved, whether it's material or just due to timing. I will be cutting most of the plants next week and keeping it modest. Before that, I’ll take a nice close-up for you so you have a comparison. Unfortunately, the pictures from last week are of very low quality. Until next time, friends of the lamp 🙌

peterkleber7 Hello harvest friends :) Today was the first harvest day where 5 out of 6 plants were harvested. The plants themselves look differently good. The trichomes were already very far along in color change, except for the last plant which is now alone in the grow room. 3 out of 5 plants delivered a really good yield. 2 plants had too many branches and grew a bit bushy. That being said, the wet weight of almost 2 kg including stems will definitely provide a nice yield. I can only say that my use of mycorrhiza and Agnihotra (a Vedic fire ritual where cow dung is burned in a copper pyramid at the exact time of sunrise or sunset while a mantra is sung) has given the plants so much strength that an indescribably good harvest (yield) and resistance to flies are relaxed. After cutting the plants, the roots were thoroughly examined. The root systems are completely rooted and are so firm that they can only be separated with great effort. Repotting has really helped the plants. Oxygen uptake was optimal during the flowering phase, as they were watered less rather than too much, allowing the roots the chance to take in enough oxygen before the next time water inhibited the oxygen.

@felixthegrower, thats great to hear my friend. With the water I was not sure how they transform the air water in fluid water. Did you check the water with ec-device?

@peterkleber7, yeah sure I've checked and it measured 72ppm and 7,2 of pH. You can make it sure that the tank is always clean so no contaminants falls into your water :)

@felixthegrower, I tried the crystal version before, thats why I am not trusting them. But this sounds good.. I have 300 ppm tap water :/ It would improve this definitly. Love the conversation with you <3

@Piernaslocas, I am not sure. I have to pot them into the final pots and install the trellis net. I hope I can start with flower next week or and the next days... I now realise that I topped the plants far too late and that the side branches could not catch up because of that late topping. All energy was absorbed into the main stemp. And probably I deflorated too much leafs. Looking forward to improve into the next run.

@Canna96, that's a good tip my friend, but if I wouldnt have a too full spaces these issues with humity and eggs would not been appear. I already added 20-30% coco to my soil, but would love to try a coco only grow... thanks for your comment bro :) Love to discuss our processes..

is this perlite in your pots?
peterkleber7
peterkleber7 commented4y ago
@Unkraut, yeah just to cover the earth a little bit more. run out of earth... so I filled it with perlite
peterkleber7
peterkleber7 commented3y ago
@Unkraut, Yes, having the perlite on the surface contributed to the aeration of the roots. Looking at the result, it was a good idea, even though it came out of necessity. <3

peterkleber7 commented4y ago
@TheFattyMcCoy, thanks man I'm trying to get the same results than mineral growers. But it is a long way to figure out what they need to become the same size as normal threatment...

peterkleber7 commented3y ago
