So i started out with (beginning from back wall) 3x rqs fat banana, 3x rqs royal cookies and 3x rqs do-si-dos but 2 do si dos didnt germinate... I then sowed some seed i had laying around to replace it in the first row. The left is the mikromachine, the middle is the rqs do si dos and the right is the do si dos by zamnesia. Some plants showed Wilting and rust spots at one point in week 2 but looks like they are recovered. I dont know why it happened i dont use liquid fertilizer. Maybe too much bat guano in soil... Looks like i have too many plants i better started off with 6 if i look at it now. Now in week 4 the stems are already thickk. I will upload every friday from now on. I was just really busy with work and the the set up.
I noticed some flying aphids :0 i dont know where they came from it is cold outside... I took the plants outside and sprayed them with cold water with a pressure washer (from a distance). After that i removed the remaining aphids by hand and left the plants to dry under a big fan. The aphids look gone but i ordered some cannacure to spray the plants just to be sure. I dropped the temperature and the humidity a little by opening a window in daytime to keep the pests and mold away. I close the window at night so it doesnt get too cold. Now about the plants again for the rest i removed some unhealthy leaves and thats it. The do so dos from rqs looks a bit struggling but it is producing large bud ! All the other plants develop normal. I think the do si dos from zamnesia looks a bit strange long and stalky but if i look at the stem it might produce some big bud... Iets hope...
I had some problems last week sorry for no update... The humidity was too high and i only got my dehumidifier a few days ago. Sometimes it got to 80-90 percent and the windows would be wet. It also was bad for the plants to take te nutrients and mould/fungi danger... I thought it would be a good idea to water them less to control the humidity but they reacted very bad to that. They looked almost dead with hanging/falling leaves and stems bending over. On top of that i had a bad flying aphid infestation in this tent. I keep it under control with spraying the plants with cannacure and removing the aphids from the underside of the leaves manually. Also i have lots of flytraps.i also water daily again Now with that done/adjusted and the dehumidifier installed the plants look stabilized. I gave them 2ml/l plagron alga bloom because i thought it would help them recover from the bad nutrient uptake. The humidity is now set at 45 and the temperature of the room is set at 18 c but the lamps make it 22c in the tent itself. Its a bit low but i like the purple. I can describe the smell in the tent as a fruit store.
I gave them 2 Waterings with green sensation (1ml/l) last week. I defoliated them a little bit and watched the nugs grow. The aphids are still ruining my grow a bit but at this stage i can do nothing about it anymore. The ladybugs are still alive controlling them a bit. I forgot to mention the plants where sown 5 October so the weeks are a bit off. Everything went right for the rest although one day i left the heating on and the temperatures reached 30c at night:(. From now on im just giving plain rainwater as they will be harvested in the next 2-3 weeks i expect. I will harvest a do si-dos this week because it looks done and is falling over
Ah i love this... A fat nug everywhere i look... I planned to cut the fat bananas this week but i was still hunting for the amber trichome. Now they start to appear so next update will probably the fat banana harvest. The Royal cookies look really tasty and i must say this is a strain i really want to grow again. They where so resistant and good producing phenotypes.. i loved them! The fat bananas and the rest wherent bad though. I will leave the cookies and the micromachine in the oven for another week or 2 as they need 10-12 weeks on paper and the fat bananas only 8-9. I have big pots so i take a week extra and i check the trichomes. The smell is flowery fruity and baked cookie dough... Wow! I have a good exhaust fan but everyone entering the house asking me whats cooking :p i also moved the ladybugs to my other tent. To my surprise they are still alive in great numbers they dont fly to the lamp and i even spotted some larvea again:) never thought the ladybug larvae i bought to fight aphids would live a full cycle.
