12/1:
Fed today...using 6 gallons in the garden at a time at this point...a few days apart.
On the late sprouting LavaCake, the apex growth node never formed, and neither of the two little branches have grown very quickly....odd one...the bigger one looks great.
The Slurricanes have had the best growth rate in the garden and that doesn't seem to be changing.
The Borderliner Xtrm's are very sensitive to something I'm doing...the younger one is just now starting to act like it's not a miniature variety, and the older one is possibly recovering from
being sick as hell...we'll see....still got very hooked leaf tips even though I flushed it and just fed it with 2% N nutes...
I think I'll try feeding them less at a time.
12/7:
Been suffering with kidney stones all week...plants are suffering as a result.
12/9:
Fed today. Plants are looking much better now. I'll switch them to 12/12 and add extra reds tomorrow. Will also begin UVB stressing immediately.
12/11:
Flipped to flower.
12/12:
Fed today and sprayed with boom boom spray and axiom harpin proteins. I also added a tablespoon of Happy Frog Cavern Culture to the pots before watering it in.
Got the DIY CO2 generator going with a fresh batch of sugar and yeast.
12/16:
Fed today. The weird little lava cake just wasn't keeping up with the rest of the crop and I decided to remove her from the garden. For now, she's in my wife's office with our overwintering pepper plants, but I'll take her out to the greenhouse and hide her amidst my broccoli and cauliflower plants tomorrow and see how she does in the cold. 🙏
12/17:
Lots more elbow room for the girls with the weird little lava cake removed from the equation..
Strange though, as soon as I removed it from the garden, it began to stretch..."Too late bitch, you're still going outside..."
12/18:
Borderliners aren't stretching a lot, but the remaining Lava Cake and the Slurricanes are.
12/19:
Fed today
12/24:
Fed today
1/6:
Fed yesterday..they were so thirsty...
1/11:
Fed today and took some photos. The Borderliners are still stretching a bit, but the Surricanes are just fattening up at this point. The big Lava Cake is a beast, and the weird little Lava Cake has started to bloom and stretch now that she's in the closet with the rest of the plants.
1/14:
Fed today.
The weird little Lava Cake is finished stretching I guess...she's starting to stack up. The big one is fattening nicely. That plant is gonna weigh heavy.
The bigger Slurricane is also gonna be a good producer. She's thick all the way down. The skinnier one will have a kickass cola, but has less lower branching.
The Borderliners smell amazing...kindof a peppery piney mint fragrance.
1/18:
Fed today and rearranged. Increased UVB exposure by another 30 mins per day
1/21:
Fed today.
1/25:
Fed today. Switched from Beastie Bloomz to Cha Ching and started adding LiquidSoil to remediate the soil.
1/29:
Fed today. Cha ching, Signal, Sweet & Sticky and Liquidsoil only. Increased UVB exposure by another half hour in morning and evening, for a total of 4 hours daily... "Sweat for me, bitches!"
Next feed will have only sweet & sticky, signal, and liquidsoil....then just a good liquidsoil flushing, and the soil will be ready to use again.
I'm a little reluctant to cut NPK later this week because they're still fattening up, but continuing the carbohydrates plus whatever is left in the soil should be enough building blocks for them to assemble into flower parts if need be.
I'm germinating the next crop in a couple of days and will need the closet in about 2 weeks...
2/5:
Fed the borderliners and the weird little lava cake today with cha ching, but just giving liquidsoil and signal to the others....they are ripe and almost ready👍
2/7:
Harvested the big Lava Cake and both Slurricanes...they were actually very similar in structure, size and scent. Looking very forward to smoking them!😋
The Borderliners and weird little Lava Cake have another week left to go.
2/17:
They could have gone another week, but I harvested the Borderliners and the weird little Lava Cake today. Had to make room in the closet for the next batch of seedlings. The Borderliners really packed on a lot of flower right up until the end. Heavy bitches!👈
The little Lava Cake will bring in around 75g..maybe a tiny bit more or less...but she smells delightful!
I'll do harvest reports soon!
Final thoughts:
This is not your average cannabis strain. For me, it was surprisingly whoopass. It's not terribly hard to grow, but disappoints you for most of the grow because it doesn't keep up with other strains in the garden. But.... it really impresses towards the end by bulking up nicely and frosting over completely. Give the produce a good 6 weeks to cure and it's really pretty spectacular.

Final thoughts:
Glad I selected this strain. It is quite a bit different than anything else I grew this run as far as flavor goes, so it is a nice change of pace. The buzz it gives is good for day or night.
The weird little one may be the normal size for this strain....in which case, the other one was really nice...
