ToRuL88 After killing the thrips and aphids, I find yellow leaves and green spots, all signs of calcium deficiency, so I'm adding calmag and silica power to the nutrients. The cuttings are a bit misshapen, but except for 2 or 3, they're all branching at the same speed. I'm worried about the yellow tips on the leaves.

I have 27 cuttings in 1.5x1.5 and 650w of LED. Do you advise me to leave a few less and do some selection? I was thinking of letting them grow for about 3 weeks max, not exceeding 40cm, and doing the lollipopping on them. Do you know what deficiency they might have from the color and the spots? Thanks

ToRuL88 After 1 week without bugs and without calcium and magnesium deficiencies. I've been thinking about transplanting for next week, I need to remove 2 plants to keep everything squared at 5x5 plants. One of them I'm sure about, the one that's been more yellow from the start, and I suppose another one of the ones that have had a lot of tops from the beginning as well. I'll transplant from 4L to 11L. What do you think? How tall should they grow at most before moving them to flowering, considering there are 25 plants in 1.50m x 1.50m? Thank you very much!

Out of nowhere, these spots or burns appeared on the leaves. It was lacking water; could it be light burn due to lack of watering?

Well well well - surprise, surprise, surprise... Nugsery not only deleted his answer saying it was water droplets on the leaves and that you shouldn't water the leaves themselves, but he puts up a new answer because he realizes m0use and I are right... Just in case you don't know, Nugsery is desperately trying to win a contest here and resorts to these kinds of tactics.... I'm not in the contest and but m0use is and m0use is so far winning because m0use actually knows what he's talking about and has grown a LOT ... take a look at the difference in their grower profiles and diaries... Nugsery, you continue to be sad, incompetent, and dishonest.

High, this look like this is damage caused by thrips! Search on the leaves for thrips to be sure that it is really cause by thrips! Here is a link from the grow weed easy website with everything that you can do to kill those bastards! https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/thrips Goodluck bro!

This is NOT caused by water droplets - the spots would be brown, not white. It's actually looking like you have two different issues - one insect damage but I see you've already done something about them... if they continue to be a problem and you see MORE of those small white spots showing up, I don't know what you used but I would recommend using Spinosad or Dr. Zymes Eliminator.... those are the two BEST organic pesticides on the market. The other problem, I believe, is related to you nutes and you may be seeing the beginnings of a potassium deficiency (those markings are found on the edges of the leaves). Since you're at least in pre-flower at the moment if not flower, you should start them on some PK boost and cut back on your nitrogen-heavy nutes... this should halt the problems and you won't see further symptoms after a couple of days... those marks won't go away and may end up turning brown but again, you should see a lot more of it develop. Good luck!

ToRuL88 I transplanted to the 11-liter pot 2 days ago... do you think it's too soon? I've watered them with water and just pH because they look very green and some leaves are curling downwards. Tomorrow I’ll water them again with EC 1.2. After 3 weeks and 35-40cm, do you think I should do the apical pruning already? I want to switch them to flowering in 1 or 2 weeks at most. What do you think? When would be the best time or the steps to follow regarding apical pruning, lower pruning, and switching to flowering? Thank you all so much 😘

Hey, the plants are 22 days old and measure 35-40cm... they are transplanted into 11-liter pots. When should I do the apical pruning, low pruning to switch to flowering? Can you tell me the order I should follow? I think they're taking too long in the growth stage...

You can start pruning all the leaves that cause problems. And with problems I mean leaves that are stacked on eachother and block airflow. Or block a huge amount of light for other parts of the plant or other plants. Let her recover 1 week. Switch to 12/12 Wait for her to strech 2 weeks. Look again if there are leaves that cause problems. ONLY prune if necessary. Enjoy the show!

I'm just like you haha, I'm going to wait 1 more week for the net to cover me and then I'll switch to flowering. But always after doing something that stresses the plant, I leave it that night with the light higher and check on it the following week to see how it's doing before switching to flowering.

I would flip them to 12/12 in about 1 week from now, remember that they are sativa dominant and they will stretch 3 times their current size during pre flowering.

ToRuL88 At the beginning of the week, I did the apical pruning, some were done poorly so they will be FIM prunings. They are already recovering with the new tops growing. Last day of growth, tomorrow I’ll switch them to flowering.

ToRuL88 This week, now recovered from the apical pruning and FIM, I'm doing the lower pruning or lollipopping, staking, and SCROG. It's my first grow and my sativas have gotten out of control in height and number of plants, but I'm going to see if I can manage and at least get some good buds... I've watered for 2 days with fertilizers at 1.1 EC and another time with just water and enzymes. Today I checked the EC of the substrate by measuring the leftover water, and some plants showed 1.8 EC while others showed 2.5 EC... Do you advise me to keep watering so that there's leftover water in the pot? I'm using 11-liter pots and I'm watering 500ml, except this last time when I gave them 1.5 liters and only about 250ml came out of the pot. I'm all ears and thank you very much!

ToRuL88 Last low pruning. I do 3 waterings a week, 700-800ml distributing fertilizers. Last watering is always just water, calmag, and sensizym. I've measured the substrate EC and it's at 2.4, a bit high but they seem to handle it well. If I'm not mistaken, there are still 7 days of pre-flowering (growth) minimum. I think they can reach 90-100cm. I've been able to count about 80-90 branches at the same height on 25 plants, I think the Scrog has helped to organize things quite a bit. See you soon 😘

What do you think about the last low pruning or lollypopping? Is it good? The plants are 80 cm tall and they still have 1 more week of growth in pre-flowering.

Yep, looks good to me! If anyone says it's too much, don't believe them. The best commercial grower i know, Grand Master Level, does a complete strip of every leaf on week 3 of flowering and he has the best commercial grows i've ever seen. It's amazing how much the plants rebound and grow after a strip like he does and it's a big reason why i strip and lollipop a lot during week 3, as well. If you're new here, please select the answer that helped you out the most by clicking on the "answer" button underneath what the person said. ToRuL88 Hello everyone. I'm still doing 3 waterings a week where I distribute all the fertilizers, last watering of this week just sensizym, b52, and water. I have the problem that the water from the last watering of the week stays at 0.8 EC, should it be raised to at least 1.2 with calmag? I've done defoliation, hope it's the last one.

Hey, I have the same problem as my friend, he planted the same strain as me and two weeks ago he started having some issues that I'm now starting to have in the same week. I think it's a lack of calmag... I'll leave my friend's photos too, I think it's the same...

ToRuL88 Things are getting complicated for me in this fifth week of flowering, buds that look burned, 3-4 plants with brown spots on the leaves, I think it's a lack of nutrients, I increased to 2m/l calmag from biobizz, watering with 1.6 Ec. Just gotta hold on for 6 more weeks 😅
