~ Orange Cookies x Nicole ~ I really have not been able to gather much information at all on this strain which, in my mind, makes it even more exciting to grow it! What information I have been able to find about this Orange Cookies x Nicole is as follows: Orange Cookies from Franchise Genetics (Sonic's Orange x Cookies & Cream [Starfighter x Girl Scout Cookies]). Nicole Kush from the Marimberos Collective teamed with DNA Genetics ([MK Ultra x Blue Satellite] x [Shishkaberry x Blueberry]). Indica-dominant Height: Short - Medium Yield: Medium - High, 400 - 500 gr/m2 indoors. Flowering: 8 - 9 weeks THC: Very high - 20%+ Taste: Complex, citrus, creamy, earthy. Effect: Potent, relaxing, long-lasting. Sorry I couldn't provide any more detailed Intel on this strain but I have a sneaking suspicion that I'll have a bunch when this run is over... Let's get it on! 😁👍 ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~ This will be a 100% Organic grow ~ Initially seed was planted directly into the medium. ~ Planted into a 1qt. plastic pot filled with that was hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 6.5 ph. ~ Seed germinated for three days before breaking ground. ~ Grown in a 10g fabric pot filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite amended with Xtreme Gardening Mykos, Gaia Green 4-4-4 (2tbsp/g) / 2-8-4 (1tbsp/g) and 30% Worm Castings. ~ Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with Gaia Green slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~ Straight well water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ~ Grown under HLG 650R's with a 18/6 light cycle for vegetation, then 12/12 to flower with supplemental UVA added during the last weeks of flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~ Supplemental co2 provided throughout vegetation and flower - monitored and controlled by an AutoPilot APC8200 co2 controller. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 2/7- Here we go into the Seventh week of veg for this Orange Cookies x Nicole beauty! 😍 Everyday that passes brings us closer to 'flip time' which should be in another 1-2 weeks +/-. I let the Seedsman Orange Cookies x Nicole dry out today and only turned her pot. 2/9- Today I decided to go ahead and install the trellis in the 4x8! The Orange Cookies x Nicole is the second shortest in the run so after setting up the trellis, and adjusting it on the tallest plants, it has her canopy just poking through in a couple of spots. I'm sure that this girl will be reaching up through the trellis in no time at all! I watered today, giving the Seedsman Orange Cookies x Nicole 1g of well water which I ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉, half of which I poured in the drip pan, the rest through the top and turned her pot 1/4 turn. 2/11- The Orange Cookies x Nicole is doing great under the trellis but is starting to get extremely bushy, so today I defoliated her. I removed all small growth and shade leaves starting at the bottom, leaving the top 4-5 nodes which will really help with light penetration down into the center of the plant. After I defoliated the Orange Cookies x Nicole I top dressed her with Gaia Green 2-8-4 and 4-4-4 All Purpose slow release dry amendments @ 3 tbsp/g (2 tbsp/g 2-8-4 | 1 tbsp/g 4-4-4), along with 2 cups of Wiggle Worm castings. I worked the amendments in by hand and then watered them in with 1g of well water which I ph'd to 6.4 @ 73℉. 2/13- Today the Orange Cookies x Nicole was watered with 1g of well water which I ph'd to 6.3 @ 72℉, .5g of which I poured in the drip pan, the other .5g I poured directly onto the medium. This girl is looking really nice and I'm patiently waiting for her to grow into the trellis net which, at this time, is approximately 1" above her canopy. I'd like to be able to spread her out a little in the trellis before flipping the light cycle but, since I don't know much about this strain concerning growth rate, structure or how much they stretch going into flower, I'll be flipping her next week regardless of where she's at. Onward to the 8th week of veg for the Seedsman Orange Cookies x Nicole where she will be getting flipped and begin her transition into flower! 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life!
