Started my last 2, 3 Bears OG seeds, and both opened and started showing after 72hrs in wet paper towels. These are gonna be in with a couple other mephisto strains under my new light!

Both seeds germinated and broke soil with no issues, about 3-4 days before the petals developed. I have high hopes for these 2, I'm going to be pampering them and watching soil/water and environmental conditions a lot closer this run. No nutes first week, but will start 4-4-4 Gaia soil topper next week. Watering with 62.-6.4pH spring water (1/3gal per day). Update:after the second tier or leaves started I added 1/2 tbsp of Gaia 4-4-4 granulate to top of soil and lightly watered with 6.3ph spring water

Plants are moving along nicely, have been letting soil dry out in-between waterings, so it's .25-.4 gallons every 2-3 days. #1 plant is really sturdy, healthy and growing fast. #2 isn't far behind but some of the lower leaves look frail/wispy. No signs of serious issues but keeping an eye on it just in case. Added a micro CO2 bag in the tent this week. Hopefully adds enough extra for having 3 plants in the tent

Plants have been moving along nicely, tips of the leaves are about 10" from one side to the other. I really enjoy this happy frog soil and Gaia 4-4-4 dry nutes, very little maintenance as far pH adjustments. Starting some lite LST this week, kind of nervous because the stalks are already pretty stiff 😬 Update: last day of week 3, 50% increase in height, #1 is about 9" tall and #2 is about 8.7" tall.

These lovely ladies are happy and thriving! They both got an extra 1/2 tbsp of Gaia organic 4-4-4 soil topping nutes. Been keeping water around 6.2-6.4, with a consistent runoff of 6.3 😂 going to start tying the bigger fan leaves down and out of the way and adding bloom nutes to every other water. Mostly as a potassium booster. My plan is to use the same nutes (fox farms) as my first run for plant #2, but I'm going to be using aptus bloom booster for plant #1 (which has also gotten 25% more nutes as plant #2 for first 3 weeks). Update: plants are.groeing strong, getting a lot of vegetation but on day 5 of week 4, both plants started flowering! Gonna start cutting back on nitrogen next week

Had a spike in pH this week, most likely from the added Gaia nutes. Was up to 6.7/6.8 , am adjusting with 5.8pH spring water. They seem to take turn being taller, only 1/4-1/2" difference between the plants. The one I've been giving less nutes seems to be vegging better, bushier and better green. Flowering has begun! The L.S.T I've been doing is changed daily, mostly tucking/tying down big leaves for a day at a time, giving lower branches opportunities to expand/stretch to better lighted areas. Just an experiment

These 2 are doing beautifully! Really learned from growing the first one, and these have been thriving in comparison! They are both above 18" tall already, and barely have any cola height yet. My last one finished with included cola at a height of 16". #1 got a little trimming last night, took 4 of the lowest sun leaves off, they were getting covered by other branches and I really want to see if they can handle the early defoliation. I'm also tucking the upper fan leaves, nothing too aggressive but enough for the budding branches to get that extra 50-100ppfd of light. #2 did not get trimmed yet, this one I'm going to follow the timeline of my last grow, and do first defoliation closer to week 8/9. Although this one was given less nutes over all and started off smaller, it has really taken the lead in height. Upper canopy is getting 550-600ppfd, mid and lower branches are getting 400-500ppfd. Update: these girls are really flourishing, the mid range of colas stretched up and created a secondary canopy getting just as much light as the colas. Hoping for bigger yield per plant this time around!

Plants are doing wonderful! Small hiccups along the way but nothing as off as my first grow. For the most part, both plants have had the same feeding schedule. Differences... #1 was defoliated a week earlier than #2. #1 also had 50% more nutrients during veg. Have had no issues #2 waited longer to defoliate, plant was bushier than #1 but not as tall. Started getting some leaves with brown spots and light yellowing. (Almost a camo look), I'm thinking I under did the nutes on this one. Gave both plants a watering with 6.4pH spring water, 5ml of cal-mag and 30ml of bloom boost. I'm thinking #2 wants more nitrogen, but don't want to get carried away with feeding. So far it's looking like a bigger yield than last time, hoping for 3+ ozs per plant! Update: day 5 week 7: I've landed on my leaf issue with #2 being under-feeding. Did not realize the bloom boost was suppose to be used with another food source, added some 4-4-4 Gaia and heavy bloom boost feeding. Will start using tiger bloom or Beastie blooms starting next week to fix lack of nutes

#1 is still doing beautifully! #2 was having nutrient deficiencies but I believe I have them under control now. The brown areas haven't gotten any worse in 2 days. Both these plant absolutely reek! Very skunky/motor oil and oranges! Going to start using tiger bloom this week for nutes, maybe small doses of cal mag just to keep levels in the soil up. I'm estimating about 2 weeks till harvest!

These 2 have been finicky. I think they didn't like the excess nitrogen from the Gaia 4-4-4 I did before I was able to add tiger bloom to the feeding cycle. I have the soil pretty much washed out of old nutes. Gaves them a medium feeding of everything and will do the next 2 waterings as plain pH water. They look like they will be ready in about 7-10 days! I think my issue with #2 was both nute deficiency and lock out. I previously added some Gaia 4-4-4 to the soil top for heavier PK than my bloom boost (that I was miss using 😬). When I finally got the tiger bloom and pH balancers I think the soil was still too nitrogen rich and locked out the P. Flushed it after and resumes tiger/bloom boost. Hasn't progressed any further in last 4 days Update 3/17/23 -.started watering with plain clean water (6.4pH), only a few days left!

Wow! These plants have bulked up like crazy this week. The cola on #2 is about 7" tall and 3" wide at it's center mass. The smell is crazy, overpowering almost, oranges and burnt motor oil. The trichomes are mostly cloudy right now, very little clear heads. The amber is just starting to show, almost like a blush. Waiting a couple more days for some more amber then harvesting!

I absolutely love growing this strain. The structure, smell and out come are exactly what I was looking for in my first auto flowers . This is my second run of this strain and the plants grew almost identical to my last run (just 30% bigger 😂). Can't wait to smoke some for 4/20!!!
