Aluminum Sulphate to pH down (acidify) and Dolomitic lime to pH up.(alkaline) 100% organic Mix with water, then feed to medium. Ph of water @ room temp 7.0 Ph of water @ boiling point 6.2 Doesn't seem like much but ph is logarithmic meaning 6 is 10x the acidity of 7. Every little helps.

Agree with Hashy here... and will just add that you should keep putting water through until the runoff pH is where you want it... that may be the amount he's indicated or it might be more... (And just a note - baking soda will raise the pH) Good luck

Just keep putting ph 6 water through it. Put 2 to 3 times the amount of water through then you normally would do. Catch the last bit of runoff separately and test the ph.
