Hey farmers Excited to start of 2023, this year I want to find a strain I like and grow from clones to practice my growing techniques and pull consistent quality with my tiny set up. This one is the first contender for motherplant. I have grown sweet seeds before, that plant could take a beating and was an autoflower, so this grow i won't hold back. At the end of her first week of life she went in to the bucket.

Heya Farmers, not a lot to mention this week, so I figured I'd share my Calcium Hypochlorite recipe to help keep my reservoir free of life It's comparable to the popular UC Roots product by current culture, and similar in application, the only difference is mine is stronger at a fraction of the price. So you need two things, Calcium Hypochlorite Granules with around 70% Available Chlorine (Some pool shock products are literally this) and a precision scale. for Calcium Hypochlorite I use HTH Pool shock, its 67% Chlorine, don't just buy HTH pool shock, as its contents vary by country, try and buy pure Calcium Hypochlorite from an online Lab supply store, its dirt cheap and 1 KG will last you a lifetime for less than 40 bucks, So I want 2ppm of free Chlorine in my reservoir, this will slow down growth of bacteria, and is still relatively low in dose! Check the chlorine of your Calcium Hypochlorite, Mines 67% the following is the calculations I use, feel free to adjust the formulas to your needs: 2 ppm chlorine from 67% strength Calcium Hypochlorite and I want to fill an empty 2 liter bottle of 0.5% Chlorine which will serve as my stock solution (2000x0,5) / 67 = 14,9 14,9 grams of 67% strength Calcium Hypochlorite to get a 2L Chlorine bottle with 0.5% strength so then after that I want to turn that stock bottle of 5000mg Chlorine per liter into 2mg/liter which is 2 ppm.. (0,0002x1000) / 0,5 = 0.4 which is 0.4, so 0.4 ml of the stock solution per liter of water then gets me 2mg/l total chlorine in my plant buckets I use a very small dose as a prevention, as at low Ph this turns into Hocl, same as uc roots, this damages the roots, but sterilizes the reservoir, its a small trade off, so don't blast it with full dose in flower unless you need it Good luck growing

Hey Farmers, sorry for the slow updates, she's doing great! I wanted to add more movement to the tote so I added 3 more Hozelock airstones, I also topped her at the end of this week My Flower lights: https://marshydro.eu/products/mars-hydro-ts-1000-led-grow-light/?ref=BelgianBudtender My Veg lights: https://marshydro.eu/products/mars-hydro-ts-600-led-grow-light/?ref=BelgianBudtender Coupon code BelgianBudtender for 3% off

Hey farmers! This comment is meant for Weeks 4, 5, 6 and 7 Well, it's been quite the veg cycle for my plant. I topped her a few weeks back, but I couldn't give her as much attention as I wanted. After she recovered and grew a bit, I decided to take off all the lower growth to help focus her energy on the top buds. In the midst of all this, I also managed to take four clones, and they all rooted! I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do with them yet, but maybe I'll keep them around if this plant turns out to be fire. Eventually, I flipped the switch to flower, but now I'm starting to get worried about running out of room. My flower tent is taking way longer than expected, which is adding to my stress levels. But, I'm trying to stay positive and hopeful that everything will work out in the end. I just hope I can manage everything and still get some great buds from this plant. Stay safe and Stay farming

Very sorry Farmers. I dont have anything for the first week I flipped to flower! I have been obscenely busy in my life, so much so that my plants have taken a back seat, however I' going to try and be ontop of it and get some great buds. for this week though, enjoy my little clone being uppotted and also look at the massive leave I pulled right when I flipped, have you ever seen a wacky large leaf like that

Hey farmers, We're finally back on track for weekly updates. week 9 has been quite the ride for my plant. She's been stretching like crazy in her pre-flower phase, and I'm starting to get a little worried. She's still in the veg tent since the flower tent is occupied and will be for another 14 days, but I'm doing my best to give her the best environment possible so that she can keep growing strong. I'm a bit concerned that I end up moving her her to the flower tent too late, but I'm still hopeful that everything will turn out okay. If for some reason I can't give her the environment she needs, I have a super healthy clone that I could use. But for now, I'm just going to focus on giving this plant everything she needs to thrive and produce some amazing buds. As always, stay safe, stay farming!

Hey farmers, it's week 10 and my Tropicanna Poison is coming along nicely. This week, I decided to try out a high stress training technique called "schwazzing." The main reason for trying this technique was that my plant had outgrown the tent, and I needed to prevent humidity issues and ensure good buds until the flower tent becomes available. I was a little nervous to try it out, but so far, the results have been great. The plant looks healthy, and I'm optimistic about the potential yield. Of course, I'll be keeping a close eye on my plant to make sure she's recovering well from the stress. Overall, I'm excited to see how my Tropicanna Poison develops over the next few weeks. With the help of "schwazzing," I'm hoping to produce some impressive buds. Fingers crossed everything goes well! As always, stay safe and happy farming!

Hey farmers. Many difficult decisions were made last couple of weeks. She outgrew the veg tent, She's also super tall, We lost 2 tops due to them hitting the old TS600, most of her branches were spindly and small. I cut all of this off, this will probably hurt the yield, and her buds will probably not be as nice as they would have been in a proper tent. Bad news aside, here's the good news. The Flower tent is now available. with a brand new light, a Mars Hydro FCE-3000 and the plant was moved into there. Another plus, this Phenotype is beautiful, colour is starting to overtake the budsites. I will be growing her clone, I'll be using organic instead of synthetic. Now I have my new light I want to redeem myself, and grow some fat purple buds, which this phenotype seems to be capable of. So we'll grow this one to completion, harvest her, then either continue this diary or make a second one, leaving it as one diary with multiple harvest might be cool, plus you get to see the direct difference of environment and feeding on the same phenotype. Stay safe and Stay farming

Hey farmers, She's got stamen, also known as nanners or male parts, this sucks. I don't know if it's because of all the stress but this strain deffo has some recessive traits, I've looked around and there's other purple TCF1FV on here laden with nanners. Mine are pretty low down on the plant, i have been plucking them in hopes of having a smokable harvest Her top buds are free of nanners and getting massive i hope that stays that way but I'm not too optimistic. I have a clone of her, which i still intend to grow out only because we've come this far and I've got that sunk time fallacy. She smells great, like tangerine. Thanks for stopping by, feel free to share thoughts and advice. And as always stay safe and stay farming

Heya Farmers. It's officially a 2 plant diary now, I hope it's not too confusing, but to sum it up: We have 2 plants, the one in the DWC tote and then a clone that is being grown in a 15L growbag, using organic peat based soil and 2 Biotabs. This clone will receive nothing but water, so There's no real intricacies there, it's simple, pot light, add water. For the Mother plant this week, She's in late flower now, I hope she finishes off in another 2 weeks, she's at the promised 7 week flowering point now, but as you can see, she ain't ready yet, guess mine's a not-so-fast fast version. She had some nanners last week, I'm happy to say that, she's over it now, no more balls, I'm honestly confused. We had no light leaks, I didn't lock them out, maybe the nanners were a result of the horrible environment early flower, or they were part of her genetics, we'll see with the clone. Either way, they're manageable. Our lovely little clone, I know I have not shown a lot of this plant up until now, but there's literally not much I have done, since her rooting on February 10th she was topped twice and Kept root bound, but she's at least 9 weeks in veg at this point, which would explain the 3 prong leaves and pistils. She wants to flower so I'm going to let her, I removed most of her nodes, since I know she's a stretcher, after a few days she'll go into 12-12. I'm excited to see the differences between synthetic and organic, the clone is producing way more shoots than the mother, I think it's due to the seaweed in the biotabs, obviously we should take the differences with the knowledge in mind that I screwed up on the mother early flower. And, I arguably trained the clone way better.

Happy 4/20 Farmers, We're getting closer, a week or two left I'd say, stuff could turn around fast though she's starting to eat less. still no new nanners, weird as heck. The clone was flipped to flower on 18/04, so she's not quite a full week into flower, her canopy is still under control,i know flowering her in that tent might put me in the same environment that potentially led to the mom having nanners, this time is a bit different instead of having no extraction fan, i have created my own, i also made sure the tent is light proof and ontop of that this time we have 50% extra power in the light department

Hey Farmers! It's time for another update on our grow! We are now in week 8 of flower for our Mother plant, and week 2 of flower for our clone. We are already seeing some differences between the two grow styles, despite having the same phenotype. The clone started bud-setting a whole week earlier than the mom, which is a good sign for us. The mom seems to have taken an extra week in flower, possibly due to her DWC growth style. The mom is gradually being tapered down to tap water, as she's stopped taking up nutrients, the clone is in a 15L Geotextile Fabric Pot by Gronest with 2 Biotabs and no synthetic nutrients. We will be harvesting the mom this weekend, at least partially. The top buds are in the harvest window, but the bottom buds still need some more time. Unfortunately, we need the flower tent for the clone as she's starting to bud up and look great! We're excited to see the potential for some beautiful big purple organic buds from her. Interestingly, our clone is showing the ruderalis genetics with its three-prong fan leaves. We're not quite sure what caused this ruderalis trait to pop up, but we suspect her being root-bound for five weeks had something to do with it. Despite our worries about cloning a strain with ruderalis genetics, our clone is very vigorous and we're very happy with her progress. One thing we're still worried about is nanners. We saw one on the floor of the tent today, which is a bit concerning. If we had a lot of nanners, we would expect to see seeded lower buds and oxidizing pistils. However, all the buds are still white down there, and we don't see any seeds. Perhaps all the cross-breeding that went into creating this strain has made it completely sterile on the pollen front, like a mule. Stay safe, stay farming!

Hey farmers, I harvested the mother, perhaps a little early but it's fine, I'll do the harvest section soon, a bit busy right now. Sorry for the late entry for week 3 of flower on the clone, she's really filled out the 70x70 with beautiful purple buds, you can really see what proper training does to a plant, this is the same girl that flopped all over, now she's tamed with a sea of buds. I'm glad I decided to re- do this strain, she's extremely frosty, I'll post a dried bud above so you can see what this baby looks like dried, it's like it fell into a bucket of glitter. To help me achieve the even buds, i made myself a proper SCROG net, with PVC, 3d printed tent attachments and some nylon rope. Trying to push the ppfd to 1000, i really hope organics can keep up with synthetics, I'm quite new at soil.

Hey Growmies! The harvest results are in! Growdiaries' harvest section is infamously confusing, with it being split up into harvest and smoke review: Here's my end results: 41g of larf which got turned into hash, I would tell you precisely how much hash, but I smoked it. 171g of bud, due to her structure, most of these are nice and firm That's wild, I screwed up so much on the training on this plant and she still gave me good bud. She threw mad nanners, this plant needs a stable, good environment to flourish, luckily, the bananas were completely sterile, we don't have a single seed. Please check out the smoke section for my thoughts on the actual weed Also, this diary is not over, I'm running a clone of this plant in organic soil, as opposed to Hydro, just to see if there's a taste difference. My training on that one is way better.

Hey farmers, She ran out of nitrogen, i should have added 3 tabs, unfortunate but it's all a learning experience. I hope to salvage it by giving her alga bloom and i also topdressed with some worm castings. We also had a pest problem, thankfully a nematode treatment did the trick. Hoping to still get some nice buds despite the deficiency, hopefully i solved it.

Hey farmers, Week 20 of this diary, so let's quickly look back. This clone rooted February 10th, making this plant over 110 days old switched to flower April 18th, making it day 42 or week 6 of flower. The mother flowered for 55 days, I honestly harvested a little early. We do need to bear in mind that soil finishes faster than DWC, I'm not exactly sure why, but it is a thing. I hope I can make this girl go a bit longer, she's fading hard though, I stopped feeding pk 5-8 because I saw burn, and im pretty sure you're not supposed to get that in organics. I’m very new to organically, made a lot of mistakes, but overall compared to dwc it’s a bit more chill, and those of you with a trained eye can tell, the mom was bigger, not just taller but had denser buds at the top. It also had like 60 grams of larfy shit though. We’re going to do our best to keep this girl going until atleast day 49 flower This might end up being the last week, I hope not.

Heya Farmers, We easily managed another week without any of the flowers wilting, there's still some clear trichomes and white pistils. Suggesting she can still go on, she's running out of green though, the entire plant is yellow and red. A first for me, this doesn't really happen to me using synthetics. the trichomes exposed to less light are purple, which is really cool but makes determining harvest a little harder. In a perfect world i let her go for a while longer, I want more weed and need space soon though.

Heya Farmers, quick fact sheet about the harvest. This clone rooted February 10th, making this plant 123 days old switched to flower April 18th, she flowered for 55 days. She yielded 159g of bud, which is a little less than the DWC, however, the buds are all of nice quality, there's no larf. I also got around 3-4g of concentrate from the trim, made hash coins. Compared to DWC, she's a little less frosty, her scent is milder and her high is very similar. This clone also did not throw bananas, I suspect this strain is just very hormonal, If you find some nanners in an otherwise great phenotype, I would say it's worth growing her clones, because I had no issues this time along, not even buds on leaves. I don't have any clones left and I'm sad. she was a great little plant. I included a picture of a DWC bud and a random Organic bud, you can see the DWC is a little more frosty, however the organic buds are more filled out, this is because of training, the DWC would have the same shaped buds if I had trained her properly like I did the organic.
