@Ned_Schneebly, There are some growers who use ladybugs for pest control. I have never used them and can't tell you a positive experience because of that. But I have heard good things about them in this topic. I encourage you to try them! 🐞😁

Just woke up to half my new sprouts poking out of the soil. I was worried because some of the soil I have is a little over populated with compost mites, and I swear these are the guys that ate 2 of my Wedding Cake seeds!
There fast moving white to slightly brown about 1mm, resemble a photo of hypoaspis miles but seem to eat organic matter rather than bugs? Need to find a bug to thin them out and keep them in a healthy population!
