Germination went very smooth, I used a Plagron Germination Kit to make things easier. Both Amnesia Haze broke the ground after 2 days on Sunday the 29th. Both Blue Amnesia Haze popped up above the soil one day later on the 30th.

Doing good so far, ladies look happy and healthy. I was afraid one damped off but apparently I let the jiffy get to dry and it was just not getting enough water for a couple of hours. I transplanted the jiffy pellets into smaller containers with Plagron Royalmix.

You can really start to see them getting those solar panels up now :) One of the Amnesia Haze plants had some weird yellow and brown spots on the bottom leaves, checked for bugs but couldn't see any, for now I'm not too worried about it as the new growth looks perfectly healthy. I'll probably do a preventative Neem spray somewhere next week for IPM. I also started using distilled water in my humidifier because I was getting white crap all over my tent and equipment! This is due to the minerals in the tap water here so make sure to check that before you start using tap water in your humidifier. They went from about 200 to 300 PPFD over the course of this week, we'll see if we can start ramping that up next week for the start of the vegetative stage. I repotted them on 12 Feb to 8L fabric pots and watered them. I put some Black Strap Molasses in the water as well to feed the bacteria and fungi in the soil. They are having a party down there as we speak! I'm probably going to top them somewhere next week once they have recovered from the transplant and have formed one or two more nodes. See you next week 🙏

They took a couple of days to fully recover from the transplant but overall they are doing great! On the 15th they looked a little unhappy, you can see in the picture that the leaves were drooping a little bit. I gave them a watering and gave one of the Amnesia Haze (the one with the spots from last week) a foliar feed with Vita Race. She bounced back like a champ and looked really happy again the day after. Topped both the Amnesia Haze's at their 4th node on the 18th of Feb. Let's see how that goes The Blue Amnesia Haze has crazy short internodes and I think I might have to wait for a little bit before topping those ladies. The light intensity is still at roughly 300-400 ppfd at the moment, I think the plants will grow into the light quite nicely with my current setup. The light is quite high from the canopy so there's enough room for them to grow into it. I've been having some humidity problems when the lights go out. The light makes it a cozy 27C in the tent and when it goes out, the temp goes down to 20-21C. That makes the humidity go from 60% to 70-72% in a very short time. I added a dehumidifier to the tent which runs only at night set to max 60% humidity. The humidifier at night is set to 55% so it balances out quite nicely now. If you have any questions or tips, feel free to leave a comment :) Happy growing, see you next week!

This week went quite well, the lower growth is catching up after topping all of them. The two Blue Amnesia Haze's were topped on Monday and Tuesday. They are doing quite well at the moment. One of the Amnesia Haze's is giving me some troubles, she keeps showing under/overwatering issues (quite sure it's underwatered because I wait until the pots are very light). You can see what I'm talking about on the picture on the 26th of Feb, it's the plant in the top right. You can see the leaves hanging a bit there as well. I think I'm going to start watering to runoff this week because I think the roots have had enought time to fill out the 8L growbags a bit more. I'll probably go for a 2nd round of topping somewhere next week and start doing some LST and defoliation as she bushes out more. PPFD of the light is now around 450 - 500. Happy growing all, see you next week!

Hope you all had a great weekend!!! 🙏 On the 28th I topped both Blue Amnesia Haze's for the second time. The day after I gave all 4 plants a top dress with Mega Worm (two handfuls per pot) and watered with some black strap molasses added to the water. Both the Blue Amnesia Hazes are staying a bit shorter and bushier than the regular Amnesia Haze plants. Because of that I started training only the Amnesia Hazes at first on the 2nd of March by tying down the topped tops which where the highest point of the plant. The Blue Amnesia Haze's followed on the 3rd. The lower growth caught up supernicely over the next couple of days. I gave them a spraying with Vita Race (3ml/L) on the 4th of March. On the 5th I decided to further LST all 4 plants and also started training the lower branches further outwards. I'm currently running the lights on 75% at 130 cm away. Because the light is such a close fit in a 4x4 I can't lower it enough for 50% power to work at the moment due to a power outlet being on one of the cornerrs attached to the tent pole. Next week I will probably rearrange my power outlet setup so I can lower the lights a bit and set them back to 50% while keeping it at the same PPFD for now (roughtly 450 at the canopy level) In the next couple of days I will also go for the final transplant to 19L fabric pots. After that we defoliate and install the SCROG net to start filling up the tent. Super excited to see how this is going to come together in the next two weeks! Thanks for checking my diary, see you next week!! Happy growing!

On the 4th of March during lights ON I sprayed my plants with distilled water with Vita Race (3ml/L). I noticed that after it dried up there are some weird spots on the leaves that were left behind (see picture). Any idea if that can lead to problems later?😅

foliar sprays do more for human psyches than actually aid the plant in any way... if you need foliar sprays tosupplement fertilization, that means your fertilization is off. it's a tool for specific problems, yes, but to use in general invites more risk than benefits. now, something like a neem application to preemptively avoid a problem is a different thing. You shouldn't need vitamins or other stuff in a general foliar spray... it should get all it needs at far as nutrients from the roots, preferably.

As mentioned previous week I played around with some of the equipment to get my lights to hang a bit lower. They are now about 60cm away at 50% power. Measuring with Photone gives me about 450 PPFD at the canopy level. This week I transplanted all the ladies to their final 19L fabric pots on the 8th of March. They were a bit shocked after the transplant because it is quite hard to get them out of a fabric pot of 8L without having some soil and roots break off here or there. I also noticed some of the plants were staying a bit more limegreen on the newer growth, I think it's because there is not enough calmag in my tapwater. I started adding al ittle bit, 0.5ml/L and it's already looking a bit better but I'll have to keep a close eye on that. After the transplant I didn't touch the ladies much, no defoliation, no LST and no more topping. I will probably let them go now for about a week and then install the trellis net to spread out the canopy and prepare for flower.

Installed the trellis net and defoliated some lower growth on the 15th of March. Next week I'm getting a trellis net that has some smaller holes to scrog a bit easier. Started giving some more nutes after last weeks yellow tips and it seems to be getting a lot better now. PPFD is still at 400-500. I'll probably do one more full lollipop/defoliation next week and then flip to flower once they have recovered. See you next week!

A fine week with little issues, we are on autopilot until we switch to 12/12. One of the Blue Amnesia Haze's is having some weird yellowing here and there at the tips of the leaves (the one in the top right). On Thursday I lollipopped all of the plants quite heavily and removed a lot of leaves and smaller branches. I also installed a new trellis net with smaller holes which is working a lot better for training so far. I'll get the second net back in when I need it if they stretch too much. Coming Thursday I think it will be flipping to 12/12 if nothing out of the ordinary happens in the mean time. They are currently still getting about 400-500 ppfd from the lights and seem to be doing ok. Thanks for checking my journal and see you next week!

My leaves on one plant are doing this weird thing where some parts are yellow'ish. It looks like a mutation. She is getting the same nutes as the other 3 plants in the garden and they aren't doing this. I've never seen this before so I'm not sure what I'm looking at?

It's most likely a pigment mutation but your ppm is a little on the aggressive end. Although the other plants are fine doesn't mean this pheno is going to respond the same way to the same growing conditions. I recommend just lowering your feed about 100 ppm to see if anything changes. This should give you a good idea if it's a mutation or an excess of nutrients. Hope this helps

Decreased the strenght of feeding by 100-150 ppm to see if the burnt tips on one of the blue amnesia haze becomes better which it did! Grow is going fine, left them 1 week longer in veg than I anticipated but I wanted to get rid of a lot more bottom nodes and growth and gave them a couple days more to recover from that. I flipped them to 12/12 in the evening on the 2nd of April, meaning the first official day of 'Flower' is on monday the 3rd. Lets see how they stretch in the next 2-3 weeks. I'll probably get a second trellis net layer in there somewhere later this week to control the stretch a bit more! I also increased the lights to 75% (450W of power draw) and the canopy has a average ppfd of 600-650 at the moment of flipping to flower. Happy growing! See you next week!

Flipped to flower on Monday the 4th. Stretch started nicely this week, still bending the tallest tops over under the first layer of netting. I installed a second layer of netting on top on the 9th of April. The lights are at 600-700 PPFD right now and on a 12-12 cycle. Ladies are looking happy! I'm watering about 2,5Ltrs of water per plant every 3 days at the moment. Happy growing everyone! See you next week <3

Flowering is going well so far. All 4 plants are showing pistils and started creating buds. Stretch is also still going on. I removed the second trellis net to make it easier to defoliate them again. I gave them a heavy defoliation on Sunday the 17th on day 14 of flowering. They seemed to bounce back great from that because by that same evening the plants were praying and looking very happy! It was a very heavy defoliation where I removed almost all of the lower branches and leaves because I don't care for larfy stuff and don't plan on being in trim jail any longer than necessary at the end :) PPFD they are getting is around 650-700 still, I'm hoping they stretch into the 800 zone of the light but otherwise I might lower the lights gradually over the next week to 800-900 ppfd. Plants are getting roughly 2,5 liters of water per plant now every 3 days. I expect that might become every 2 days once the buds start really growing but we'll see how it goes. Happy growing and see you next week!

I waited for 4 days in between waterings and didn't notice the bottom leaves were drooping quite badly already from dehydration.... Whoops! Oh well, I gave them a watering immediately and they bounced back like champs! Currently they are getting around 750 PPFD from the lights and are doing good. I might do a light defoliation next week but I'm probably on autopilot now until the harvest :)

The autumn colors are from cooler temperatures at night and/or genetics. Looks liek thy are also paling from tip-in .. if this is also progressing up the plant, it's needing more nitrogen. unlike what often gets repeated ad nauseum, a flowering plant most definitely needs nitrogen at nearly the same levels as in vege phase. if you want your plant to turn yellow, stick to teh culturally-constructed nonsense that's never once been supported with evidence :P

Plants are doing good 4 weeks into flower. Buds have started to form and there's a nice smell starting to appear when you zip open the tent in the morning :) One of the Amnesia Haze's is showing some purple colors and limegreen. I'll keep an eye on it but I think it'll be fine Next week I'll probably go in for another defoliation, especially the blue amnesia haze's are starting to bush up again. Plants are getting around 800 PPFD at the moment. Light is currently at 75% (450W power draw) at roughly 50 cm from the canopy. Happy growing, see you next week!

Smell is starting to be really nice and skunky when you open up the tent :D The lower leaves are showing some yellowing and some are dying off. I think it's due ot them not getting any light anyway so the plant probably decided to suck out the nutes and get rid of them The purple colors are getting more noticeable but only on one of the Amnesia Haze plants. I think it's the phenotype and it looks amazing! The weather started to get a bit hotter outside and the inside of the tent is now at 29-31 degrees Celsius during the day. I didn't notice that my plants were drinking a lot more because of it so I waited a bit too long with watering. It was the normal 3 days but with this heat they need 2.5L per plant every 2 days instead of 3. On the pictures on the 5th you can see how sad and droopy the lower leaves were. She bounced back after a good watering though so no worries! Let's see what happens with the higher temperatures in the coming weeks. Thanks for checking in and happy growing everyone!🙏

Still on autopilot. Plants are looking good. Some of the lower leaves are dying off but that's normal in this stage IMO. I took some leaves here and there that were blocking bud sites from getting light. Giving 10L of water every 2 days (2.5L per plant) with the full recommended nutrient dose. PAR readings are still around 800-850 and the plants seem to like it. I don't think I'll up it anymore for this run. Maybe next run I'll try the light at 100% but 75% is fine for now. Temps are going up because I don't have an AC and summer is starting to come around. Let's hope I can finish the run and dry before the first real summer days arrive. My guess is that I probably have 3 or 4 weeks remaining at the moment but we'll see! Thanks for checking this entry and happy growing all :)

Had a power outage this week on the 18th. Power cut out at the middle of lights on for anywhere between 1 to 5 hours :( Need to check for nanners the coming days to make sure the plants didn't get stressed too much by the lights failing in the middle of the day... So far the plants look ok, some of the buds are starting to flop over a bit so I might need to get a 2nd layer of trellis netting in next week. Let's see how much weight they pack on in the next 2 to 3 weeks. Super excited to see how they turn out!!!! Happy growing and see you next week 🙏

Pulled out 2 nanners from one of the plants but that was all. They are bulking up like the hulk! It's absolutely insane, all them nugz feel like rocks! Only issue I'm having is that summer is hitting hard and temps are way too high for this stage of flower (still around 28-30 degrees during the day). Let's hope the real heat doesn't kick in while I'm drying these beauties Probably one or two weeks left on them. Let's see how far we can push it! Happy growing and enjoy your week :) (Also, if you don't know why you should ALWAYS plant and eat CUCUMBA'S in your garden: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlLTtnV_DzM 🙏)

Pretty quiet week. Some nanners on a couple of buds of one of the Amnesia Hazes, probably still from the stress of the power going out last week. They are starting to grow even bigger, the signature Haze foxtailing at the end of flower has started and the calyxes look insanely nice and plump! Plants are definitely ready for the chop by the end of next week! Happy growing and see you next week for the final pictures before the chop! 👌

For reference which plant is which in the pictures after trimming on the 8th of June: Amnesia Haze #1 = Front right plant in the tent Amnesia Haze #2 = Front left plant in the tent Blue Amnesia Haze #1 = Back right plant in the tent Blue Amnesia Haze #2 = Back left plant in the tent And of course catastrophy strikes in the final week of flower :D Amnesia Haze #1 was having nanners in almost every bud which I didn't see before. I'm not sure whether they have been there for a while (since the power outage) or whether they were all newly developed. That plant seems to have a couple of seeds here and there, the others look perfectly fine. We'll see once they are dry if there is actually seeds or not. I found the nanners on the 7th and decided to chop the plants down in the evening on the 8th. Me and a friend defoliated most of the fan leaves before chopping the plants and hanging them to dry as you can see in the pictures. Some buds were falling over as soon as the trellis netting was out, made us chuckle when we took it out. The Amnesia Haze plants look very similar in bud structure and they also smell the same. The two Blue Amnesia Haze plants have wildly different colors, bud structures and smells so I'm curious to see the difference in those two after drying/curing. The current drying conditions are around 21-22 degrees C and 55-60% humidity in the tent. With my current setup, I can't get the temp any lower as we are in the middle of a heat wave. We'll see how it turns out, the tent is smelling nice when you put your head in there 🙏 I'll probably do the trimming and final weigh in somewhere next week or the week after depending on the drying speed. In the mean time, Happy growing and enjoy your week!! For those of you that have been following along: Thanks for joining on this grow!!
