Easy growing. The strain doesn't like much feeding. It can achieve more smell and taste with less feeds. Smell is just very nice and easy taste.

Reviews. Nutrient
Very easy to use. Table easy to follow but I would use 1/3 if grow on soil. Happy to use next time.
Good product for overall. Happy to use next grow.
Reviews. Lamp
Easy and quick installation. Produced good yield for only 3 plants in a 1x1x2 tent. Decent temperatures as the bulk part can be located outside of the tent.

Harvest time. The hole house smells when trimming and the tent is open. The extractor is on minimum settings. The back red ventilator is turned off. The bottom ventilator is on facing the wall to low settings just top help move air a bit. Temperatures are between 19-21C inside the tent. What a wonderful experience for my first grow. Lots to improve! One of the girls was ready and brought down for trimming and ready for the curing. The other 2 were cut down a few days after. They still have another 3-4 days to go. I will post photos when they are ready. The buds were very sticky and oily when trimming. Used two pair of trimming scissors so it took 3 hours for one plant! Lets see the two. I have tried the one is ready and gives a good high and later relaxing end. I aim to cure for a month and see from there. Things to change for sure will be amount of feed for this strain, it likes less feeding but so far no issues. **UPDATE TO COME COME FOR POT 2 & 3 WHEN READY IN NEXT FEW DAYS** 14-3 Updated: Added more photos. Harvested the remainder 2 pots. They produced nice colas and good amount also. After 6 hours of trimming and finishing they are now ready for curing. Buds seem ready for curing, sitting at 60% humidity in the jar. I'm very happy to see this harvest. House smells all lemons now. I learnt quite a lot and happy to aim for next grow.

The smallest one is becoming the tallest one when turning to flower. Is this normal?

think of it this way.. the other plants are feeding more "mouths" .. (aka extra axillary growth by comparison) ... so it's probably not growing "faster" despite most of the growth focused on 1 primary cola. if it has same total leaf area and same rootsystem, it's probably growing just as fast but concentrated in one spot... or if any of these things are lacking actually growing slower when you measure it all and tabulate it. all sorts of variety in gowth patterns is possible... genetic depression can reduce axillary growth as well as overall vigorousness of growth. i think it's mistaken as "sativa" pheno at least some portion of the time at this point. inbred "outcropping" plants quickly turn to shit after just a couple generations.

I think I should have taken more fan leaves earlier. Is it too late for the 5 week of flower to remove yellow leaves from bottom? Thanks

Yellow leaves near the bottom should be OK to remove. If yellow the plant has already scavenged the leaf for the nutrients it needs and the leaf probably isn't providing a useful contribution to the plant.

Girls are in mid of 8th week of flower. I started to see some trichomes a bit brownish but also some clear ones, not much of whiteish. Is this normal? The zoomed photos are taken from the same that I think more matured. Do you think is still a week off or is ready to be cut. Tnx

Unless you’re looking for a sedative high - which is gettin to the point where the thc is degrading into mainly CBN - I’d chop it within the week. I see it as peak thc potency within the next week. Gorgeous looking buds - better than most “vets” out there

You really did not do bad at all for your first grow. Great job, Lots of good things to build off of here. If you don't mind, I highly recommend you checking out our tutorial series here on grow diaries, As well in video form on youtube. I am a retired legacy grower from big commercial grows & am now retired helping people learn to grow the same quality craft cannabis at home. We cover all aspects, The day to day & step by step that most people skip over. I would really love your input it is full of information for new and old growers alike. I think with a few tweaks, Your next harvest will be even better. Keep up the great work! Every harvest is a chance for us to learn and improve.

@LegacyMarketFarm, Thanks for the tip. I have a small portable air con in the room but doesn't really cool down the tent inside unfortunately, I'm looking for another permanent solution before next grow. Also, I though with these LEDs temperature would be less than 26C (80f) but apparently not.

@Xamber, I just checked your diary out for the temps & noticed your flower temps are pretty high. Anything over 80 is not good for bud formation we loose out on density, But we get a lot of size. Higher temps give us bigger more airy buds that will be more prone to fox tailing and also will not be able to cake up as much as using colder temps. I find 75-78 MAX on the plant tops is the best.

@Xamber, could be a pheno thing and out of your control. Do you know what phenotypes are ?

I too am cultivating the ''lemon tree'' genetics, the colors are the same as yours, the yields are abundant, congratulations, soon I too will proceed with the harvest and drying
Xamber
Xambercommented2 years ago
@zMike, I think this genetic does well in soil with little feeding. Congrats too!

@Xamber, I only used a startbooster and a regulator, the smell is very persistent and the buds are rich
Xamber
Xambercommented2 years ago
@zMike, Its a nice strain. Smell is good. I noticed that the Lemon tree doesn;t like too much of a feed. I was even suggested up to 2 feeds a week max and rest water for max flavor and natural smell. I will be trying that next time.
