King's Tart / Z Pointer (Diary #7)

Out of three seeds, two hermed...I caught one. Found a ton of male flowers on one of the two after the 48 hr dark period...probably won't do that again. The only pheno worth anything was a short bushy plant that yielded a whopping 69 grams. I fucked this grow up in multiple ways so I'm chalking it up as an L. I didn't measure runoffs nearly enough, played around switching lamps, flushed way too early...the list goes on. Disappointed because Grounded Genetics has big promise and their shit looks fire. I'll likely run them again in the fall along with their Rainbowz strain. Not giving up just yet!

Alright, well first stab at Grounded Genetics. I'll start by saying I will eventually try this again. I made a lot of mistakes. That being said, I've fucked up before and still had way better results than this. Z Pointer was kind of a mess and I feel pretty underwhelmed with it. One of the three hermed and was destroyed before doing too much damage (but finding random seeds). One grew about 20" tall and didn't stretch. Produced an enraged laughter-inducing ounce and a half. The third grew about 34" tall with the thinnest, most ridiculous spindly branches I've ever seen. The "colas", if you can even call them that, were tiny and STILL bent the branches. There's a lot of crosses going on in this strain, and most of them aren't even that old so maybe it's just unstable. Or I'm getting worse at growing using the same methods. I'm afraid to waste my time, but I'll probably still try to run this again at some point. I refuse to believe it's anyone's fault but my own when this type of shit happens.
