Just starting off.. First plants going into 5g DWC.
Have grown Ethos in the past... Some of the most vigorous plants I've had the pleasure to work with.
Just experimenting, figuring out DWC....Plant not doing so hot 😅
Have to keep snipping lower vegetation as plant grows so I can add more hydroton.
Nutrient Recycling pump ending working GREAT once the flow was adjusted down.
Future seedlings exploded with growth with source of food/nutes at rootbase.
Buried the plant too low obviously. But in hindsight, I was able to train the plant extremely low.
The entire "Stalk" ended up being buried in hydroton :)
Keepin' at it. Started some other seedlings while this one grows into place, lower vegetation still getting snipped till she's over the brim of the bucket lid.
Arrow pointed at her. Opposite of side of her is another 10th Planet, different seed.
I'll be honest, I did not pay too much attention to this plant (in the diary).
The Twin Sister 10th Planet had much stronger vigor, uniform leaves and everything. Even the mainlined canopy was totally flat and even compared to this one.
However, she drowned from a loose air stone line between Weeks 6 - 8 of flower. Leaves started browning, not fading. Had to do an early harvest on her around F56.
And we have a completed 8-Cola Manifold in a very short time frame.
Super vigorous genetics.
Vegged for 19 days from this point, then flipped to 12/12.
Sorry for lack of in training + veg pictures! I did not think I would be making a diary, but no better way to log this :)
She is currently flipped, Day 03 of Flower.
The slight lollipopping paid off on this girl! First time doing this technique.
Most of the energy going to produce nice uppers.
You can see her sister in the last pic that I had to chop early due to death from lack of oxygen (leaky airstone line).
Had a lot of fun with this plant, was not a serious grow. I learned alot! Need to better manage my nutrients as in the end, this was a completely inefficient use of nutrients for the little yield!
I should have vegged longer after the manifold was setup, but decided to flower because an autoflower next to her went into flower.
As for the actual flower... OMG. It is exotic! Easily one of the best buds I have come across in my 20+ years of smoking. Not tooting my own horn, but it is delectable.
Tester buds taste like grapes and gas. Can't wait till they are all dried and cured!
All buds bucked and slow drying in fridge at 45*F / 45%RH. Will take ~3 weeks, then will be cured for 6 weeks for maximum effect.
Extremely happy with the genetics!
