Hi growers!
Finally I can have the pleasure of growing another RQS girl, this strain I started last summer but couldn't make it to completion. Thanks @James and sorry for the delay.
This time I want to try a grow with full 12/12 cycle from seed, I'm very curious to see the efficiency of my beloved TS-1000 under these conditions and the reaction of these beautiful plants. Obviously genetics will have great relevance with this method.
For this girl I wanted to try the Heavy Mix soil from Top Crops for its composition but, I added some extra nutrients due to being in a 3,3L pot ( I am getting good results with these pots ), I use them for the whole cycle, I sow the seed directly in it.
Let's wait until the end to see how this mixture of soil and amendment works.
It started its life this time with the paper towel technique, so, 24-48H in a paper towel moistened with water PH 7 ( I had to repeat the process, 1 seed did not germinate ).
After 48H we have the root, so it is going to be planted.
And well... after 7 days we have a beautiful healthy girl with a bright green and radiant.
She received 3 waterings:
X1 Compost tea
X1 H2O PH 6.5
X1 H2O + root stimulator PH 6.6
See you in a few days...

Hi growers!
Fantastic growth this week, it is huge and still very healthy. The color is still deep green and radiant.
This week it received 4 waterings:
X2 100ml H2O PH 6.6
X2 100ml H20 + root stimulator PH 6.5
See you in a few days...

Hi growers!
This beautiful one this week, did very well, filled with shoots. Stretched its leaves well, giving rise to a nice pair of generous sized fan leaves.
It is still healthy, the PH of the soil is balanced, 7, I think it is very good. I will try in each grow to be as organic as possible, as well as efficient as I always try like all of you. With this I want to say that this girl should be regulating the medium herself according to her needs.
Performed Top Apical technique at the level of the third node. Being Sativa and perfectly healthy, it should recover quickly and have no problem in leveling the canopy with the lower branches.
Received 3 waterings:
X1 150ml Compost tea
X1 200ml H2O + Mycorrhizae
X1 100ml H2O + root stimulator
See you in a few days...

Hi growers!
This week has been an exercise week for this girl, I did her LST technique only on the main stem for now, I will let the branches develop some more before I start extending them. She looks pretty healthy and I love those huge fan leaves.
It received 3 waterings:
X1 150ml Compost tea
X1 125ml H2O + Molasses + Root stimulator
X1 150ml H2O + CalMag + root stimulator
See you in a few days...

Hi growers!
She looks fantastic, full of pistils and her branch tips are already in the process of forming the main flower.
I LST'd a few branches to try to keep the canopy level.
Very nice deep green on those serrated, elongated leaves. It is in cruise control mode for now.
Received 3 waterings:
X1 400ml Compost tea PH 6.8 T 25ºC + Top Dressing worm casting.
X1 150ml H2O + CalMag + Root stimulator + Top Dressing Bat Guano
X1 150ml H2O PH 6.5
The PH of the substrate is at 7.2

Hi growers!
In this week you can see how it is already entering the flowering phase but, there is a small problem, it is requesting nutrients. The 2 Top dressing done last week will start to take effect during the next few days, so possibly they will lose even more intensity in their green.
The stretching this week has been huge, I'm still worried about its final size. I also did a small defoliation, nothing severe, only 4 or 5 leaves.
This time as a "flowering stimulator" I will use a homemade fertilizer made with banana peel, with the intention of giving a boost of PK.
It received 3 irrigations:
X1 300ml H2O + enzymes
X1 300ml H2O PH 6.5
X1 500ml Compost tea PH 7 T 22ºC + Top Dressing homemade banana compost
See you in a few days...

Hi growers!
This week we officially have flowers, so now the game begins... I'm focusing on providing the best environment for her, temperature with lights 22- 25ºC and off 17-21ºC; humidity is usually comfortable in the 45 - 70% range.
This girl is happy, except for a couple of fan leaves that are located too close to a fan, I can't do anything about it with this setup.....
She is starting to request more water to keep the soil moist. I used to make the Compost tea 750ml of banana tea.
It received 3 waterings:
X1 400ml H2O + enzymes
X1 400 ml H2O + molasses PH 6.5 T 22ºC
X1 500ml Compost/banana tea PH 7.4 T 25ºC
See you in a few days...

Hi growers!
In this week you can see a great improvement from your small lack of nutrients. The flowers are in cruise control mode. There was only some slight nutrient burn on the tips of certain leaves, nothing that is going to affect it. It's really going to be full of flowers but its high .... I think I'm going to have to do something more later, I'm running out of vertical space to raise the LED's.
The pH of the substrate is at 7.
We are going to give the soil another boost with another top dressing of bat guano, worm castings and homemade banana compost.
If all goes well I will end up with some good medicine stakes!
Received 3 waterings:
X1 400ml Compost tea + Top Dressing PH 6.4 T 25ºC.
X1 300ml H2O PH 6.5
X1 500ml H2O + molasses PH 6.8 T 21ºC
See you in a few days...

Hi growers!
Well as I suspected...I had to supercrop one of the cuttings.
Otherwise it is doing well, I think the growth of its flowers has slowed down a bit.
It is starting to smell nice.
It received 3 waterings:
X1 250ml H2O PH 6.3 T 22ºC.
X1 200ml H2O + molasses PH 6.6 T21ºC
X1 350ml Compost tea PH 6.8 T 23ºC
See you in a few days...

Hi growers!
Royal Medic is quite resistant, it overcame without problem the HST and the stress produced by one of the fans pointing directly against it.
Her behavior made me think that I did not top dress her well, as she was slow to show signs of good flower development, but she is definitely in the process of flower formation. The PK of the homemade Banana fertilizer seems to have done its job too, I see some density in these flowers of Sativa structure.
It gives off a nice aroma.
It received 3 waterings:
X1 250ml H2O PH 6.3 T 22ºC.
X1 200ml H2O + molasses PH 6.6 T21ºC
X1 350ml Compost tea PH 6.8 T 23ºC

Hi growers!
This week has really seen a nice change in all the flowers and the smell is a bit stronger.
I did a little defoliation at the bottom to improve the air flow in that area.
In one of the waterings I applied Top dressing but in quite low quantity, just enough to overcome the final stretch. Yes, it is week 7 and I give some nutrients. As I understood with Build a Soil and by some natural logic, I wanted to try feeding until about 1 week before harvest. The vast majority are 9 weeks into flowering.
Received 3 waterings:
X1 525ml H2O + molasses + Top dressing PH 6.5 T 21ºC.
X1 450ml H2O + Top dressing PH 7.1 T 18.9ºC
X1 500ml H2O PH 6.8 T 21ºC
See you in a few days...

Hi growers!
Wow wow... I am very impressed with this girl, she really deserves the nickname "Royal". Lovely bearing, what a way to swell those flowers in such a short space of time, while gaining density, the branches are swaying very easily. Part of its foliage has taken purple tones, I want to think it was produced by the low night temperatures.
This week we finished it by adding some enzymes.
It received 3 waterings:
X1 500ml H2O + enzymes PH 7,2 T 20,8ºC.
X1 500ml Apple tea PH 7,4 T 22,6ºC
X1 500ml H2O PH 8 T 20,8ºC
See you in a few days...

Hi growers!
Well... day 63, this is the indicative date for harvest but I'm going to give it a few more days.
Really happy with her finish, I thought I made some serious mistakes, as her flowers took a long time to take this volume. The curious thing was her new generation of calyxes in 2 of her colas... were they finishing their development? or was it due to stress?
It received 3 waterings:
X2 H2O 500 ml PH 8 T 19ºC
X1 H2O 400ml PH 8 T 19ºC
See you on day H.

Hi growers!
We are at day 66 of flowering and it is ready to be cut.
We will put it to dry and then we will see the final results.
See you in a few days...
