Day 98 (02/06/2023): 9th week of 12/12 in the 4x4 and 53 th day of flowering in the 3x3.
Well ...They are starting to look like something and the smell is terrific in both tents.
lots of citrus/lemon/
sweet/flower from the Panamas (who have already10/15% of amber trichomes; the rest mainly cloudy) and nuts, fruits, sweet, pine from the malawi x Pck whose trichomes are mainly transparent and a few cloudy ( more cloudy on the PCK dominant).
In the 3x3 it smells mainly like coolies just cooked and sweet because of the THC bunker buster (it's richomes are finally out/visible even if it's still not yet snow white ) and Do-G / Brain cake.
The 3 plants 's smell covers the Zamaldelica x Kali China's one which is very different from all other plants (3x3 included).
Iit has a smell that I can hardly describe, very sour, citric, deep, with lemon , fruits and sweet. Overall very strong and smelling like some kind of medecine. Very different than the one grown last run.
This one has already a lot lot of amber trichomes. It's supposed to be ready between 8 and 10 weeks and I think I 'll have to harvest it in the coming days when I planned to harvest the whole 3x3 on june 17th.
Do-G and Brain cake are doing really weel especially considering their short growth and small pots. Not lots of buds, but big stones covered with trichomes. Very strong and resitant plants. Their leaves are turning red /orange althought the T° never goes under 19,5°C. If their effect isn't too couch lock I will certainky grow them again with longer veg and bigger pot.
They replaced perfectly all the failing green crack V2 intially started.
I'll give another 2 weeks to all plants but -perhaps - one Panama that should also be ready earlier and the malawi x pck malawi dominant that should take 3 more weeks (or more..) to be ready.
We'll see and I started to check trichomes daily.
Also, I'stop nutrients for all ladies next sunday => Only water + Elycitor untill harvest.
Happy growing all !
@gottagrowsometime,Hi and thank you gottafrowsometime. There are certainly lots of talented breeders out there. I grew cannabis between 14 and 17 and some decades later with covid.
However, something like 50 years +with mother Mary on my side.
I have been lucky in my youth and was.. ignorant 3 years ago. So jumped on strains by the name, amount of THC bla bla etc.. and popularity :).
Well.. to come back to breeders, Ace seeds doesn't need any marketing or barely not any neither than appealing strain names:
Once they get a customer, they keep it forever :) :
They worked at their products with heart, passion and clear vision. And indeed, even when I messed things, always super quality and great harvest. 1st quality for what's commonly waited for : potency, taste smell and number of dry g but way more for searchers/travellers or/and to work at yourself.
It took me 2 years to learn this, I'm not affiliated or anything like that. Only wish to share what I wish someone would have shared with me. It never happened so asking earlier makes no sense :).
Best.
