@FoTwenny, Yeah it does really make trimming much more enjoyable ! pls upload some pics of the dried and trimmed buds if you can ? ππ»βοΈπ»ππ¨
Nice they purpled a bit ππππ¨ if you run your lights a bit dimmed they will also last longer, as I heard a lot of commercial grows get strong lights and run them on 80-90% so they will last longer ! I personally testet cheap leds next to expensive ones and I don't see a real difference myself to spent double the amount of money π€·ββοΈ a few years ago I would have recommend people to buy an expensive led from a good brand company but in those days u get really efficient good leds for cheap compared to the crazy prices some labels put out there πβοΈπ»
@FoTwenny,Ok cool nice to know! Where i live there is only 8 weeks of summer π€£ basically so I have the opposite problem sometimes I have to hang an hps in my tent so its getting warm enough π ! If you want to cool the room its definetly the right choice what your doing and as we said it even benefits you in more other ways too βοΈπ»ππ¨ππ»
@FacelessGardens, I have had good results with the Kingbrite bars and boards from China I bought through Alibaba. I have used Geeklight boards too. Growers Choice hooked it up and the touch screen master controller is pretty fancy and has cool options. TBH I willl probably run both lights from the top after I harvest. Position the kingbright bars between the bars on the Growers Choice and run them both between 50-65%. I am thinking it will help keep the grow room cooler and, as you mentioned, help prolong the life of the lights. Not to mention provide a broader light spectrum and even coverage.
Popping my seeds currently and am really wanting to nail this run. Do you have any tips or suggestions that can maybe give a little help my way? Plan is to Run in happy frog til itβs depleted and top dress with Gaia the rest of the way . Anything u suggest adding or doing?
Any help would mean more than ya know
@Kushbythebush, I have never used happy frog. I am growing in coco, so it's much different. I have not done a lot of top dressing. In the past, I have used dry amendments to create super soil or super coco.
That being said, I think focusing on pH, VPD, DLI, and letting your soil dry between watering, you can fine tune other variables. From my understanding, when top dressing with organic amendments, it takes time for the plant to break the fertilizer down into a form the plant can use.
I use Azos during veg through mid stretch and mycorrhizae and plant enzymes every watering except for flush. Inoculating with beneficial microbes will help break down your organic amendments into usable forms for the plant to uptake. Good luck on your grow!
@HAPPY91, I am slacking on the final update, but it smokes like a dream. Great Kush strain in my opinion. Going to keep cloning her and see if I can keep improving her final yield and quality. I have a clone about to finish flowering. The newest run I added CO2 enrichment, so definitely going to yield better. Cheers! βΊοΈ
I love that your plants look so healthy so far into flower. I see a lot of growers have crispy yellowed leaf and say it's the plants using up all the nutes... Well that's bullshit as we see here . Big frosty buds and healthy vegetation to continue supporting the plant.. growing done right..ππΌππΌππΏ
