ready for a new session 🙂 This time, I'm going with Ganja Farmer and two of their strains, Mandarine XL and Strawberry Cake (each will have its own diary) easy, fast germination and 100% success 👌 the 3 mandarine go in my big tent (120x60x180, autopots, coco, 14L, 3x LED 150w) and the 3 strawberry go in my small tent (60x60x160, classic pots, soil, 11L, 2x LED 100w) see you soon for the suite ✌️

a good start for my 3 Mandarines 🙂 the coco coir has been kept moist throughout the week, which has clearly benefited the development of the roots; for seedlings, they are rather large, but still solid. I just watered today 1 litre per plant, with 1ml of power roots, before launching the GoGro system in the next 2 days; they seem to be ready to get their water themselves 👌

the roots are sinking sufficiently, the gogro system is feeding them properly, so I started the Sensi Coco grow fertilizer through the tank. I had put 1ml/l at the beginning of the week, but the leaves were turning slightly yellow; I increased it by 50% midweek, it seems to be enough for the moment. I intend to keep a light hand: I've been dealing with nutrient burns at... almost every session in coco. 😁

the girls are vigorous; after 3 weeks, they are all ready for "pseudo mainlining", a kind of watered-down mainlining for autoflo involving only one topping, a little lollipopping and a lot of LST : When the 4th node develops, I cut and keep only nodes 2 and 3, stretching the remaining 4 branches horizontally in a cross shape. The aim is to obtain 4 large, dense and easy to manicure colas. Over the next 10-15 days, I will cut off any side branches until the colas are far enough away from the trunk to let them grow upwards. In general, the transition to flowering takes place at this time. people often hesitate to do HST on autoflowers; my little experience allows me to guarantee that this single cut has never delayed my harvests, nor diminished the quantity and quality ✌️

the mainlining continues ✌️ I continue to remove the lateral branches and to spread the colas horizontally; the crosses are a little more than 20cm tall, I will be able to let them start to climb next week, especially as 2 of them are already showing their first pistils I have slightly increased the doses of Sensi Coco Grow, and I am already planning the transition to Bloom

I have finished with my girls' sculpture work 👌 they all 3 have the cross shape I was looking for, they resisted well to the lollipopping and are now starting to run towards the light flowering has started, 1st stage; from next week I will start to include bloom fertilizer in small doses

there is a problem here... 😓 no significant development since last week, on the contrary, the girls seem to be getting lighter and stunted... the coco is not forgiving, I mismanaged the nutrients: having run out of Sensi Grow, I reduced the doses, and when switching to Bloom, I didn't empty my tank before, giving a mixture of about 2.5ml/l of Grow and Bloom. A DIY job that I paid for in cash... I'll wait 2/3 days for the soil to dry, I'll empty the tank and fill it with a fresh solution of 3.5ml Bloom. We'll see at the end of the week if I have a chance to make up for it 🤞

the change to the good quantities of Coco Bloom stopped the degeneration, one of the girls even resumed her growth while still showing some deficiencies in calmag that I try to correct, but I'm not going to lie to myself: this session will only bring me a fraction of what I could have achieved by being more attentive... I became overconfident after 6 sessions in coco; this substrate teaches me humility once again 😅 I could at least have perfected the mainlining for autoflos; my other session in progress, in soil, will compensate for the "losses"...

development has resumed since the fertiliser correction, and the calmag deficiency seems to be resolving I'm under no illusion of course, I'm going all the way but it will be a small harvest. In any case, it will be a new lesson 😅 I'll make sure to pamper them for the last few weeks!

the right balance of fertilizers has finally been achieved, without being able to recover the delay of course; but they are striving to develop and flower, small harvest does not mean small quality 😏 to be continued...

they will have suffered but they will go to the end 🙂 the buds swell, this time it doesn't matter how much as long as they are dense 🤞

the first is cut ✌️ it was one of the two "sick" plants, from which I removed a cola to allow its double to put on weight; I clearly sacrificed quantity, but now the 3 colas are big and dense another week for the other two

With a little delay, here is the result: 504g wet in 3 plants, and in the end 194g dry; a good ratio. and after 5 years of growing, a small summary table of my harvests since I started with the CFL bulb Times have changed a lot since then... 😁 in 5 years, I've produced 1.873kg, including 841g in the last year alone; I've learnt a lot from my experiences 😌 my "records" : > biggest one : 132g (NL lights) > best g/w : 1,25 (OG XXL) > best g/m² : 336 (OG XXL) > most productive one : 17,8g/week (Strawberry Banana) > fastest one : 10weeks (Gorilla Punch & Strawberry Cake)
