All seedlings are displaying the same growth rate so far. These look to be very stable genetics. 1 more week before we get some real growth action going. Hard to believe that in another 7 and a half weeks they will be big and full of ripe flowers. Watch this space ;)

So far so good! Feed has increased to half advanced nutrients recommendation. Environment is stable and controlled. 6.5 weeks to go 😬. They have really pulled their socks up, growth rate seems very good. Couple of brown sports on the back left, that's sloppy watering. Got a couple of drips on the leaves. Watering is daily, first time I've tried fertigation. May start LST next week

What a change in pace this week! These girls are fast. Between day 19 and 20, the first pistils have come through at the internodes. Day 20 and 21. All 4 have now started their pre flower stretch. I will be adding big bud into the nutes mix from now until flush. Added a 12 inch oscillating fan to the mix. Girls have reacted really well to the added turbidity. The Humidifier has been removed. No need for it any more, plants are transpiring enough to generate their own humidity. And the eagle eyed of you will notice the addition of cfl's. I've read that addition of cfl's can increase trichrome production (nothing ventured nothing gained, it will add another 105w of lighting slap bang in the middle of all 4). I noticed slight tip burn on some new growth on the 19th. I added 2 litres of tap water to each of the pots to dilute and rinse any salts out.

These girls have shot up this week. Shortest at the front is 60cm tall, tallest at the back is 90cm tall. I think the difference is due to temperature of the roots. The radiator was at the back of the tent giving them warmer conditions. All plants will be in flower this week. They are really thirsty. They are showing a lot of promise 😁

I've been staring at these girls for ages, it's better than TV. Do you think they talk to each other? The height of each one is 10cm different and they're growing in a perfect spiral, as if to give each other canopy space. Looks like the golden ratio in action

Im sure they do communicate most of the latest science suggests its through root and mycellium systems, sharing nutrients and boosting friends and family. they respond to sound smells and im sure senses we cant perceive. Some plants will produce chemicals to make bitter when they hear a caterpillar chewing. I would almost certainly think they share information.

Finally we have some dry weather and the humidity has started to drop. The stretch has continued all week with the shortest now 110cm and the tallest was 150 but I have lst the top to drop it to 140 The girls have been slowly changing to flowering stage. I think there still generating bud sites before packing on some weight. Can't stop looking at them. 😍

Day 42, I've done some serious defoliation today. I don't normally do it but the growth just below the canopy was getting washed out and spidery. Dialed back nitrates. Was getting signs of cal mag def but think it's part of nitrogen toxicity. I always find purple plants very sensitive to nitrate. Trichrome production is good, smell is increasing. 2.5 weeks to go until breeder crop time. I'll be using big bud until Saturday then switching to overdrive. I will be feeding up to the 8.5 week mark then flushing to 9.5 weeks (as long as that's what the girls tell me they want).

This week has been a little challenging. Since defoliation they have been drinking less, think I've been over watering them. I'm getting signs of cal mag deficiency but I think it's been a lack of air to the roots. I don't want to stop feeding them, so my plan is to up the nutrients to 4ml / litre this week and reduce the quantity of daily water to approx 1.5 litres / day

I've done more defoliation. Largest plant is maturing the quickest and is showing many orange pistils in the top quarter. These girls won't be ready by 8.5 weeks. Physically, there's no density to 3 out of 4 plants as of yet. I can see through lots of the flowers. There's still potential for a good harvest though. As long as the next couple of weeks are a fattening stage. I'm fairly certain that I will be feeding them until 10 weeks. Growth pattern of flower is very mixed in this seed batch. And each one smells slightly different. Overall aroma from the tent is deep fipe fruit, mostly berry with a hint of citrus and spice.

They are all coming on nice. They will be given more feed this week. The biggest plant could be flushed this week. She looks ready. The other 3 are trailing behind by a week or so in their development but are still packing on weight and stacking calyxes. The slower flowering could be down to my temperatures. The electricity bill was driving me mad so I turned the heater off. Day air temps are about 20 degree c, night is approx 14.

I started the flush @ 68 days. The girls will have 1 more watering with flawless Finnish tomorrow, then I'll let them drink it all up until sunday. By then most of the moisture will be out of the pots making handling a bit easier. These have been interesting to grow. Biggest auto's I have grown, but I'm not sure it will be the biggest yeild I've had. This will be my last dip in to purple genetics. The smell is amazing they look sexy but the density is hit and miss and the flowers are fox tailing a lot.

These plants grew fast and very tall. All growth was exceptional and fairly standard until flowering. The genetic variance in flower quality is extreme. Ranging from 7g of recoverable trimmed flower on 1 plant to 107g on the best. A massive amount of material went directly to bubble hash because it was so loose and larfy I didn't want to see it after shrinkage.

Smokers opinion: That hash is fucking awesome and it's purple OMG I've never seen purple hash, and it smells so fucking awesome. OMG I've never seen purple weed before, o that smells amazing and it's a nice smoke. Growers opinion: Novelty strain with low density and loads of trim to process. I processed anything that I wouldn't want in my persy stash. It was a lot of material.
