Germination took 48 hours with paper towel method. Transplanted the seed to 5gal pot and saw a sprout within a few days. Soil is half ocean forest and half happy frog.
growing like crazy!! i accidentally snapped the main stem almost completely in half while doing LST… Made a splint for it and hope I didnt ruin the whole thing :(
This plant is out of control! Had to move my light and fan outside the tent for more room because tops started to burn a little. think i used too much fertilizer again when switching to tiger bloom, going to skip a couple feedings again. overall very happy so far though. the LST really seems to have worked and the tent is very full.
Gave it some salts and seems to be doing better. I’m still amazed at how big this single plant has gotten! There seems to be a ton of happy bud sites at the moment. Check out this LST success!
Defoliated again just a little and went back to the tiger bloom. Seems to be doing real well. Can’t believe I considered more than one plant in this tent!
Started some cal mag this week but otherwise did a little flush the past 3 time I watered her. Looking good I think and those nugs are plumping out nicely.
Doing sooooo good. But more of the leaves have yellowing tips/spots. I started calmag and some salts but I think I might just be underfeeding. This week I fed more and all of a sudden the buds started getting all frosty. Maybe a coincidence? I don’t think the leaves will get green again but the buds are certainly getting bigger and look healthy. Open to any other tips here!
Huge change in smell and appearance this week. This is my first time so I’m researching when to harvest… But now the leaves are frosty and the nugs appear dense. I pinched one lightly and had to wash my hands it was so sticky. Idk but I think she is gunna have a big harvest. Any thoughts on when to harvest?
When should I harvest? Green crack, first time grower, 1 plant, mars hydro 2x2, fox farms trio, she’s a big girl. 6-7 weeks or so into flower on this auto and the past few days have seen a massive change in smell, color, density, etc.
is too early u can do flush btw when the white hair turn 50-80% brown can be the time for harvest but to make sure u will need microscope or download mobile app an check the trichomes
Still chugging along! Should I start a flush? I cant imagine much more than 2 weeks. Even the buds under the cannopy are bulking out now. There are a dozen big forearm sized stalks. I’m totally open to advice here. Currently researching “when to harvest”…
Thanks to all that have advised I wait to harvest! She’s bulked up so much in the past week. I even bought a microscope thingy (last 3 pics). I must be getting close!
Still waiting! Been flushing over a week now and will probably harvest in the next few days but who knows… They keep getting fatter and fatter and just starting to see amber trichs but only really on the main colas. Dropped light schedule to 20hrs instead of 24hrs as some have suggested.
I learned so much from this grow. My first time and scrolled through countless diaries as I encountered issues. Overall, ended up with 6 ounces dried from 1 massive happy auto. Soooo happy.
You'll have a good harvest, but only if you let it be for now. She's a monster sized auto, well done. You don't want to ruin it by being a wee bit impatient lol also don't run the light on 24hrs. Drop that to 20, that should help to tell the plant to start ripening.
@DCGardener, there's alot of white hairs still coming from all the buds, that suggests she's still fattening up. Id drop the light to 20 hours to help it speed up the process. If you didn't get to sleep, you wouldn't feel that good after 15 weeks would you ? Let that thing rest and give it some rest time. 😴
@Aldo90, Thank you!!! I’ll keep waiting for now. Check my recent update and pics. I’ve been running the light 24 hours a day this whole time. How much time do you think I have left? Will dropping the light schedule a bit help and how? She’s a big girl for sure!
