deFharo Welcome clandestine marijuana growers, and also to those who are fortunate enough not to be! 🙋‍♂️👨‍🌾 X 10TH ANNIVERSARY, another sativa dominant for this season. The breeding team at Zamnesia Seeds has crossed two impressive strains, Secret Kush and a Classified strain, with rich flavors and enhanced effects and an average of 23% THC, X meets many requirements. Whether smoked or turned into hash, it offers a magnificent experience. ===================================================================== I’m starting the spring/summer growing season with the same enthusiasm and excitement as always, many sativa dominants to take advantage of the fantastic spring sun throughout the vegetative growth stage. I will cultivate in mixed indoor/outdoor mode until flowering, ensuring the plants get as many hours of light as possible, and since I will have to move the pots a lot from indoors to outdoors, I’m going to grow in 10L pots to avoid breaking my back. I’m also going to debut three new Soluble Bio Ferments based on Mountain Microorganisms (MM) and Fermented Grass for vegetative growth, and two others for flowering that have been in anaerobic fermentation since 06/18/22, along with other enzymatic hydrolysates of amino acids and complex potassium hydrolysates of humic and fulvic acids with minerals. As I open them, I’ll talk about them... but I warn you, this season I’m going all out, no mercy, I want to experiment to see how far I can go with forced feeding in pots. I’m not looking for friends; I’m looking for colossal crops to fill my bag with marijuana... I’ve prepared a light, well-aerated substrate with perlite, coconut fiber, seaweed bokashi, Biochar with MM, and worm humus; I put it in 0.45L fabric pots (7x12cm) because I want to transplant as soon as possible to the final pot. I made a watering mix to moisten the entire substrate: Mountain spring water with natural heather honey (sugars, enzymes, minerals, vitamins...), homemade auxins from black beans (hormones, rooting agents), and 1% of my Bio Mix for vegetative growth with Effective Microorganisms (EM), minerals, and basic nutrients. With this mix, I start the inoculation of microbiology to the substrate; honey is an excellent rooting agent and provides energy to the Microorganisms to propagate... next, I chose the prettiest seed and buried it in the substrate, and it showed itself after 9 days. The low temperatures delayed the germination of all the seeds this season, but they have all germinated! At first, I encapsulate the pots to keep the humidity very high in the pot and thus favor germination. I keep the encapsulation until the seedling has completely detached from the seed shell. After 24 hours, I began to expose it to light, during the night under the light of the Vipar P1000 lamp at 20% power (20w) and about 15cm from the pots, during the day near a window, avoiding direct sunlight... all for the cause! 🙋‍♂️👨‍🌾😄 Until next time... deFharo Welcome, clandestine marijuana growers, and also to those lucky enough not to be! 🙋‍♂️👨‍🌾 Third week for this mysterious strain, the seedling is growing at a good pace, a sign of good rooting, and it's already starting to show the first true leaves! Today I started exposing all the seedlings to direct sunlight, I just have to be careful with the overheating of the pot and the moisture of the substrate. During the night, I keep the seedlings under the Vipar P1000 lamp at 20% power (20w) and about 6-7cm away from the tips. Since this week I'm starting to expose the seedlings to the sun, I will also increase the power and proximity of the lamp. A total of 24h of indoor/outdoor light. Since the initial watering, I've only watered with pure mountain water. Starting with the next watering, I will begin to feed the seedlings; for the more advanced ones, those that already have true leaves, I will start with various foliar applications. Results will be seen next week. Until next time... deFharo Welcome, clandestine marijuana growers, and also to those lucky enough not to be one!✋👨‍🌾 This season is all about cultivating legends and sativas... all for the cause! It's the fourth week for this mysterious strain, the stem is starting to show woodiness, the large leaves are proudly expanding, and the seedling is responding well to the light intensity and growing compactly. This week I've started fertilizing the seedlings, and it's been noticeable right away. A mix of natural Honey (sugars, enzymes...), Fresh Blood Hydrolysate (amino acids), Bio Mix EM is a blend of leftovers from other bio-fermented growth (Bio Fish (N, Ca, P...), Bio Coco (Hormones and minerals), Bio Blood (amino acids), Bio Mealfrass (N, P, Mg), and a bit of Ormus from the Cantabrian Sea to raise the pH and provide minerals (Mg, S...). I've done a deep watering and several foliar applications, and the plants reacted immediately, the shoots went into a position of praise, and all the seedlings have shown evident growth... let’s play! Since these first weeks of the seedlings' life are easy to manage, due to the small pots and low maintenance costs because they need few watts to grow, I'm going to wait another week before transplanting to the final pot. This way, I also ensure a good root system that will explode in the big pot. In short, I don’t count these first weeks as seedlings because they haven’t entered the big game yet.✋😁 During the night, I keep the seedlings under the Vipar P1000 lamp at 20% power (20w) and about 6-7cm away from the tips, as this week I start exposing the seedlings to the sun. I will also increase the power and proximity of the lamp. A total of 24h of indoor/outdoor light. Until next time... deFharo Welcome, clandestine marijuana growers, and also to those lucky enough not to be one! 🙋‍♂️👨‍🌾 This season, cultivating legends and sativas... all for the cause! It's been five weeks since the seed fell into the substrate, and four days ago I transplanted the seedling into an old school 11L pot with side aeration. This pot consumes less water than fabric pots, and the space it occupies in the tent is more optimized. These days, the young seedling has turned into a plant and proudly displays its leaves expanding in tune with its roots... long live life! For the substrate of the pot, I made a base mix with 25% recycled substrate from two seasons ago, which I've kept in a bag for these months to lose all moisture. Additionally, I used coconut fiber, a mix of two light substrates, bokashi from algae, worm humus, perlite, and vermiculite, and finally added a wide variety of minerals: Leonardite, zeolite, azomite, Epsom salt, diatomite, illite, montmorillonite, kaolin, basalt, rock phosphate, wood ash, pumice, and several types of clay. Once well mixed and the seedling placed, I added a good layer of mulch rescued from other crops with high microbiological activity and organic matter. Then, I did a watering with 1400ml; the mix includes a Bio Fertilizer that I'm trying out this season, which I've had in anaerobic fermentation since June of last year. It's a Bio Ferment with Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA), fermented grass, and Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) to which I added water from 4 green coconuts. I've called it Bio Coco EM. With this bio-stimulant for crops and for the vegetative growth stage, I've tried to capture the hormones (cytokinins), enzymes, and vitamins from coconut water, as well as the multitude of minerals it contains. The water from a coconut has enough energy and minerals to germinate a coconut seed. Here you can read all about the process of creating this series of fertilizers: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/134104-grow-journal-by-defharo/week/782852 Now this strain enters the big game, with artificial light at night and capturing rays of sunshine during the day. Starting today, I've reduced the light hours from 24h to 20h because the plants also need rest. I've also turned on the other two lamps in the canopy to cover the entire area of the plants. I keep the lamps very close to the plants, which allows me to maintain the power of the lamps at 20%. When I transplant the other 4 plants that I plan to grow in this tent, I will have to move the lamps away and increase the power in exchange... all for big buds! But before starting, I thoroughly cleaned the grow tent... all so these girls can grow comfortably and happily. Until next time... deFharo Welcome clandestine marijuana growers, and also to those lucky enough not to be!✋👨‍🌾 This season is all about cultivating legends and sativas... all for the cause! It's the sixth week since the seed hit the substrate, and this mysterious strain is showing tremendous vigor. I'm doing an apical cut and simultaneously tying down the branches to control vertical height and shape the plant for production. Water consumption has increased, and despite the old-school pot, right now, the water usage is at the same level as my textile pot crops, which indicates that the establishment in the pot is spectacular. I'm waiting for my third magnetic stirrer to prepare watering mixes and structure the water. Now I can prepare up to 7L of watering mixes in three different formulations simultaneously. This season, I'm going to experiment with different watering mixes for every two plants to compare the results. It's also a solution to experiment with different soluble Bio Nutrients since I currently have over 40 formulas, and it's impossible to use them all in one season, on one plant... all for the cause! Today I received the replacement for the pH sensor. I have a very special nutrition plan for tonight, but I don't know if the growth will force me to leave the house... all for the cause! I've added rice husk to the mulch, a dry organic matter with a lot of silicon. It's the first time I'm using it as mulch; I usually use it as a component of bokashi. Plus, its light color is great for reflecting sunlight and preventing overheating at the top of the substrate. I'm curious to observe the decomposition process; I hope the microorganisms love it! I've increased the intensity of all the lamps, now consuming 155w plus 20w for fans/extractors. If I see this week that the plants are stretching too much, I'm going to crank up the power to the lamps to try to compact them with light as much as possible. Currently, I have the plants under the grow tent for 14 hours and 6 hours in direct sunlight. When the day is cloudy, they stay in the grow tent. Until next time... deFharo Welcome clandestine marijuana growers, and also to those lucky enough not to be one! 🙋‍♂️👨‍🌾 This season is all about cultivating legends and sativas... all for the cause! It's the seventh week since the seed hit the substrate, and this mysterious lady stands out among her growing companions. I have to keep an eye on the ties because she's growing really fast. I'm growing her in an old-school 11L pot, and she's currently consuming more water than her companions planted in fabric pots. Normally, old-school pots consume about 30% less water, and this tells me that the root development is skyrocketing, which shows in her aerial part. If she keeps this up, she's going to be a tough plant to manage in the space I have, but I've decided not to hold back. I want to get the most out of all the plants. I have a box full of Chinese lights, two more growing spaces set up, and if I need to use them, I will. I need a lot of weed since I can't stop smoking all day... all for the cause! I think this will be the last week of vegetative growth, despite my desire to extend it to enjoy the cultivation more. However, the size the plants are getting is going to complicate my grows this season... I will endure! The bad weather has continued all week, with very cloudy days and persistent rain. The plants have stayed sheltered in their grow tent, warmed by the lights... I'm really wishing for some sun, please!! Today I decided to measure the substrate temperature, and it reads 24°C at 10cm deep, which is practically the same as the ambient temperature with the lights on. Today when I turn off the lights, I will wait a couple of hours and take the temperature reading at night to see the difference and if the substrate cools down as quickly as the ambient temperature. Six days ago, I did the first watering of the week with a varied mix of bio-nutrients, quite concentrated with an EC of 2.00. This time I'm still applying Bio Coco EM to provide energy and add micronutrients, along with 1% of my fermented seaweed, adding microbiology to the substrate and a high range of trace micronutrients and minerals with my Activated Mountain Microorganisms fermented with fruits and minerals, another 1% of Ormus from the Cantabrian Sea Mg, S... and traces of over 40 minerals. I needed a bit of my Sheep Wool Hydrosol to raise the pH of this mix, and finally, a component I only use once throughout the grow and only at this stage: gibberellic acid, which is a growth phyto-regulator with hormonal action that stimulates and regulates plant development. Together with cytokinins, plant hormones that regulate various aspects of plant growth and development, such as cell division or photosynthesis, I capture these hormones from coconut water to complete this mix... the plants love it! I want to pair some plants to make different watering mixes for each pair and compare results. For now, I'm thinking of doing it based on each plant's water consumption to match the watering time for the plants forming the pair. Now this strain enters the big game, with artificial light at night and capturing sunlight during the day. If the day is cloudy, like last week, they stay in the grow tent. Starting today, I've reduced the light hours from 24h to 19h because the plants also need rest. Of the three lamps in the canopy of my grow tent, the central one is at maximum power, partly because the dimmer is broken, damn it! The other two canopy lamps will enter maximum power this week, and I will add lights as the plants demand them. Until next time... deFharo Welcome clandestine marijuana growers, and also to those who are lucky enough not to be!✋👨‍🌾 This season is all about cultivating legends and sativas... all for the cause! It's the seventh week since this mysterious seed fell into the substrate, brutal water consumption and monstrous growth, today I'm switching it to flowering schedule 12/12h! This week, three deep and concentrated waterings with different watering mixes and varied components. I'm going to increase the watering volume to water every three days and give time to consume the Nitrogen and Potassium from the last watering. I've taken advantage of this week to add some important components for this stage of cultivation. I'm rolling a joint and explaining a bit of my feeding logic for plants: As the plants grow, the need to supply more variety of macro and micronutrients increases compared to the early stages of cultivation, where fewer components are needed. Also, depending on the stage of cultivation, hormones, enzymes, vitamins, minerals, etc., come into play. Finally, to feed my plants, I just have to think about how we humans eat: varied food, as healthy as possible, and daily. I can't conceive, by this logic, any watering with just water during the plant's life; only the last watering I do with pure water as a calm farewell to my old companions before their last breath. I have a large variety of homemade biological fertilizers; some have a predominance of a macro nutrient, others have varied micronutrients in their formula, others vitamins, others chelated minerals, etc. I compose my mixes with several of these components in low proportions, generally around 1% per component, except for those that are very strong. This way, I avoid the ghost of over-fertilization and at the same time apply highly soluble nutritious waterings and microbiology for the plants to manage in symbiosis with the roots and the plant's needs. I favor this whole process through a light substrate, structured with humus and mineralized. The first watering of this week was the last watering with my Bio Coco EM. From now on, the cytokinins from the coconut are no longer necessary. In the last watering of the week, and since the vegetative growth stage is ending, I've added auxin hormones (energy for branches and shoots) with a bit of gibberellic acid (cell division) and finally a bit of Borax (0.03g/l), an extra source of boron to give vigor to the roots. It's the first time I'm using it this way; normally, the most important sources of Boron I use are in my Pumpkin preparations, fruits, and some mineral chelates, but now I'm supplying it pure and directly assimilable by the plant. I'm staying observant... doing to understand! In time, everything forms a harmonious set of high performance for indoor pot cultivation, among the Bio fertilizers (immediate food for the plant), Organic Matter (House and food for Microorganisms), Minerals in the substrate, Microbiology, etc. and to complete the set, there's the light. The more intensity, the better to get more volume in the buds, more compactness, and more trichomes. The worst part of this is the bill, but all for the sake of smoking the best marijuana that can be grown! The cloudy days continue; the plants barely come out of the grow tent. This week I reduced the light time by half an hour, and I've been at 18h 30'. I've added a 50w LED panel to the light canopy (2700K +660nm), and now I have 4 lamps plugged in at maximum power (370w). As I keep the lamps as close as possible to the tips to compact the plants, it turns out that the light on the sides of the lamps doesn't reach sufficiently. So this season, and due to putting too many plants in my grow tent, I'm going to play with putting a powerful canopy instead of lighting from the sides. I have two COBs with lenses waiting to be placed in the canopy; this way, I can maintain the short distance with the tips and light from above all sides of the tent. Additionally, I have two bars in two corners, placed vertically (50cm) with 2100K +IR LEDs that I will connect when flowering begins and the plants grow a bit more. I'm also waiting to receive a kit of extra spacer bars for my grow tent. With this, I'm going to recover up to 20% of the horizontal space that the tent loses due to the negative pressure from the air extractors... all for the cause! Until next time... deFharo Welcome clandestine marijuana growers, and also to those lucky enough not to be one! 🙋‍♂️👨‍🌾 This season is all about cultivating legends and sativas... all for the cause! Ninth week since this mysterious seed hit the substrate, first week since switching to flowering schedule 12/12h. The plant has had a considerable drop in water consumption, it has barely grown these days, changing the growth trend. I'm also observing some strange growth in the new leaves, as well as some burn on the upper leaves. I hope I haven't overdone it with the Borax application, as I've applied it to this plant twice by mistake... I'm crossing my fingers, waiting for the next watering, which I will do with some gentle component to help dissolve excesses in the substrate. I trust in the buffering power of my organic substrate. I've done two deep waterings with various components, mostly bio-stimulants and hormones. Additionally, this week I've made two important changes in the grow tent. The first was completing the light canopy; I've added two COB lamps with lenses, so now I have 6 lamps in the canopy with a total of 475w. This way, I can keep the lamps very close to the tips without losing brightness on the sides. As usual, growing with high light intensity makes the plants grow with short internodes, which in turn slows down vertical growth. The second change was installing an extra spacer bar kit that has given me a lot of space on the sides of the tent by preventing the fabric from bulging due to the negative pressure from the extractors... I'm very happy with the result! Until next time... deFharo Welcome, clandestine marijuana growers, and also to those lucky enough not to be! 🙋‍♂️👨‍🌾 This season is all about cultivating legends and sativas... all for the cause! It's the second week since switching to the 12/12 flowering schedule. The plant is recovering from a week of major issues; I managed to stress this plant for a week due to foliar over-fertilization, with curled, burned, and twisted leaves. Water consumption dropped to a minimum when this was the plant that consumed the most water and showed the most vigor. The appearance was very concerning, so I did a major defoliation and decided to water even though there was still a lot of water in the substrate. I prepared 2L of light solution (EC: 0.7) with molasses, algae lacto-ferment, and amino acids. The idea was to wash the substrate with this solution and flush out nutrients to mitigate the over-nutrition. The response came after 24 hours; the plant began to normalize its water consumption. Today, 4 days later, the plant is returning to normal and is growing with smooth, healthy leaves. In the last watering, I used two Bio Fertilizers that I've had fermenting anaerobically for a year: Bio Algas EM: I solubilize three types of algae with Efficient Microorganisms (EM) and enzymes; I use it when I need to stimulate the crops. Bio Guanos EM: I solubilize two types of guano (bird and bat); I'm mainly interested in phosphorus, but this exceptional raw material also provides macro and micro nutrients, minerals, or humic acids. I use it from the end of the vegetative growth stage until the end of flowering in combination with other potassium-rich formulas, etc. - You can see the entire process of creating this type of Bio Fertilizers at: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/134104-grow-journal-by-defharo/week/782852 Until next time... deFharo Welcome, clandestine marijuana growers, and also to those lucky enough not to be! 🙋‍♂️👨‍🌾 This season is all about cultivating legends and sativas... all for the cause! It's the third week since switching to the 12/12 flowering schedule, the plant has fully recovered and is consuming a massive amount of water, growing and growing, and more and more flower buds are appearing among the leaves. Two days ago, I did a major defoliation on all the plants; for this plant, it’s a bit forced since I don’t like to defoliate when the plants are already in flowering, but I think it will hold up well given the vigor it shows. In general, I’m not a fan of this technique, but I’m forced by the need for space and I want the maximum light penetration through the canopy, as this season I’m barely going to add any side light. The loss of leaf mass takes away from the plant's splendor, but it will recover in a few days; however, the flower buds will be more exposed to light... let’s play! Two deep waterings this week, with varied mixes and starting to incorporate specialized bio nutrients for flowering... let the game continue! Until next time... deFharo Welcome, clandestine marijuana growers, and also to those lucky enough not to be one! 🙋‍♂️👨‍🌾 This season is all about cultivating legends and sativas... all for the cause! It's the fourth week since switching to the 12/12 flowering schedule for the mysterious plant. After the difficulties of the last two weeks, it has fully recovered, stopped vertical growth, regained leaf mass, and now the leaves are expanding smooth and healthy, with floral buds popping up everywhere... let’s play! This week, I added the last lights to the grow tent, two 50cm LED bars, consuming 25w with 3000K, 2100K + IR 730nm LEDs in equal parts. I positioned them vertically, each in a corner at the back of the tent. These LEDs are meant to enhance flowering and the growth of intermediate branches and buds... let’s play! Until next time... Fifth week since switching to the 12/12h flowering schedule for this mysterious plant. The plant keeps evolving, the buds are fattening up, and I've discovered that the plant is creating seeds on some of the branches. It seems the male Durban managed to violate some of my girls! So far, I've only found the same phenomenon in another plant. I would really love to have space to grow these seeds; no matter how the cross turns out or where it comes from, I'm sure the seeds will produce good herb with sativa dominance... and nothing more! deFharo Welcome clandestine marijuana growers, and also to those lucky enough not to be one! 🙋‍♂️👨‍🌾 This season is all about growing legends and sativas... all for the cause! Sixth week since switching to the 12/12 flowering schedule for this mysterious plant. The plant continues to form buds, water consumption is high and stable. Although the shape of the plant isn't to my liking, I hope to get a decent bud production! While I feed it and give it plenty of light, I also nourish the substrate; this week I've added dry amendments made of bone meal, bat guano, and mealworm frass, mixing it with the mulch and then watering... Eighth week since switching to the 12/12h flowering schedule. The mysterious and stinky plant continues to fatten up the buds, now these dominate the scene, the leaf mass remains healthy, the plant has started shedding the older leaves, but first, it holds onto the nutrients. deFharo Welcome, clandestine marijuana growers, and also to those lucky enough not to be one!✋👨‍🌾 This season, cultivating legends and sativas... all for the cause! Ninth week since the switch to flowering schedule 12/12h. This mysterious and stinky strain, hidden offspring of parents kept secret, continues to bulk up its dense buds, which are increasingly dominating the visual and olfactory scene. One day, its hidden parents will secretly be proud of their bastard offspring... just like life itself! There is a lot of energy in the plant, it eats and drinks with gusto, the trichomes are multiplying, crystalline and whitish, young pistils crown all the colas. At this rate, it's going to be a spectacle of monstrous colas, and if, as the producer says, it needs at least two more weeks to be mature and ready for harvest, the glorious ending is guaranteed... come and see! Happy Harvest Day!

deFharo Welcome clandestine marijuana growers, and also to those lucky enough not to be!🖐️👨‍🌾 this season cultivating legends and sativas... all for the cause! Eleven weeks of flowering, 139 days of cultivation. Miss X has finally reached the end of her journey, but I still don't know her. The strain has performed despite the difficulties she faced during the vegetative growth; I managed to block her for two weeks due to too many foliar applications driven by my uncontrolled enthusiasm. The plant recovered, but not completely; at first, due to water consumption and the growth she showed, she was the most vigorous plant. After the intoxication, she only maintained herself, the leaf mass was affected, but finally, the plant has delivered, gifting me with some big, aromatic, hard, and sticky buds. I will repeat this strain; I owe her one for the foliar abuse. After one last and only watering with pure mountain water, these last two days, while the substrate moisture was running out, I kept the plant under light for all the hours I could, between the grow tent and the summer sun. With the plant still in the pot, I did some defoliation and manicure; now the plant hangs upside down in a shady and ventilated place, as I have no space in my drying area. In a few days, I will separate the buds from the branches, and in 2-3 weeks, I will try the smoke for the first time and finish this grow diary. Happy summer growers! Until next time... Excellent work, buddy! The health of the plants is insane, that color and texture of the leaves is amazing!! The nutrition you're providing with all your work is having a harmful effect on the average growers, who are dependent on a capitalist world full of high prices and little personal effort 🤯 You're motivating me with your information; I'll look into gibberellic acid and other hormones 🤙 A big salute and much respect 🎩🎩
