03/09 - Sprouted
04/09 - Added 2ml/l of Root Supplement
06/09 - Added 2ml/l of Root Supplement
09/09 - Added 3ml/l of Root Supplement and increased watering to 500 ml per plant
One of the fours second inter node is starting to turn what seems to be purple.
Could this be an issue, genetic trait or even the influence of a purple LED?
Hi @ThePanda! At this stage, this is probably nothing to worry about. Take a look under another light and see how it goes in a few days, but I'm confident she'll be OK. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊
18/09 - Added 2ml/l of Bio-Grow, 1ml/l of Alg-A-Mic, 1ml/l of Bio-Bloom and 1ml/l of Top-Max
19/09 - Vegetative cannabis odor is increasing, impossible to miss it.
20/09 - The two left plants are showing magnesium deficiency. Added 1ml/l of Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra to all four plants. (1l / 4 plants = 250ml per plant)
21/09 - Added 2ml/l of Bio-Grow, 1ml/l of Alg-A-Mic, 1ml/l of Bio-Bloom, 1ml/l of Top-Max and 1ml/l of Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra
22/09 - All four plants seem to have stopped focusing growth on the main stem and instead are focusing on the side nodes.
23/09 - Plants have started to flower, first calyxes are appearing.
26/09 - Added nutrients and defoliated the first fan leafs from the bottom of all four plants.
28/09 - Increased watering to 1l/plant.
01/10 - Added nutrients.
Decided to take the plants outside for a few hours to see them in natural light. Excellent opportunity for a photo session :)
09/10 - Defoliated a few vegetative leafs.
10/10 - Flushed all four plants and switched completely to Advanced Nutrients. Couldn't stand BioBizz anymore..
12/10 - For my day 40 special i added some closeup shots of the plants :)
16/10 - Added B-52 and Big Bud Coco to the nutrition cycle. Noticed immediate improvement.
19/10 - Dense calyx clusters are starting to form on top of each other. A beautiful sight. The flowers glisten brightly under sunlight due to the immense amount of small crystal-like trichomes emerging from the flower leafs.
23/10 - Started flushing. Plants are thriving very beautifully. Hopefully they will be ready as planned in exactly one week.
25/10 - I report that my room smells like a sugar sweet candy shop. That's the only format i can describe the smell. Very fruity with slight hints of citrus. Each plant has its own distinctive ratio of it. Some are more citrus-like and some smell straight up like a fruit salad. Very unique.
29/10 - Harvest is soon upon us. Calyxes are slowly reaching maturity and peak resin production. I intend to reach 80% Cloudy and 20% amber Trichomes before the final decision.
31/10 - Floral ripening is taking a bit more than expected but she is on her way for sure. Smell is unchanged since my last comment.
Edit: Sadly i live in a big polluted city which is visible on the cannabis. My grow room is not filtered and this is also what i have to breath in daily.
Nice canopy you have there. I would estimate a grames per watt between 0,8 to 1.0; so if your light is true 250 watts (not that equivalent BS, but actual power draw, then that would make it 200 gr to 250 gr (7 oz to 8.8 oz).
(Actual power draw from the LED light is 110w)
Growing was very easy. The plants showed magnesium deficiency early on but i managed to correct that.
The quality of the final dried and cured flower is immense. Everyone in my circle of people that i have offered it reports a very clean smoke and high.
I made a 7g olive oil infusion and it is the strongest cannabis concentrate i have ever tried or made.
The high itself is a good hybrid. You have the social and happy benefits of sativa strains yet you won't be doing much moving around.
Harvest was easy with these short compact flowers.
Drying was done for 8~ days at 21c and average humidity of around 50%.
After that the flowers got moved to a curing jar and have since increased in strength daily.
Overall very happy with the outcome and definitely recommend this strain.
Looking great. Nice healthy looking babes. Great to see them in real light. Good luck with your harvest. Have you raised up your LED? What put you off biobizz?
@FritzTheCat,
Thanks!
I mainly stopped using BioBizz since i repeatedly got nutrient issues with my plants and some other weird symptoms.
Also i have had the bottles for over a year now and i suspect they aren't good anymore.
Non the less, BioBizz is not actually organic in my country because of our ministry of health.
(Stupid import laws).
Also after flushing and giving the new nutrients the plants showed HUGE improvement, as if i unshackled them.
The LED's are at maximum height at the moment since i have a very tiny grow space as you can see.
😀

Question to anyone who has experience with short growing cannabis plants or in particular this strain:
At what height should i install a flower weight support net if i intend to go for a scrog method?
