I have some very sad news, especially since I know a lot of people were looking forward to these two monsters finishing. 2 weeks ago, bad hurricane weather hit my area. It knocked down a tree that hit these two plants. They were instantly decimated. 75% of both of them were chopped right off. For the last two weeks I have been trying desperately to keep them alive.
Chocolopez died very fast. The 25% that was left turned into like 10% over 2 days, and bud rot soon after. When a plant loses too much foliage, the rest just can't survive. There was no saving her unfortunately. When she was destroyed by the storm she had nothing but pistils and no bud, so there was nothing to salvage. Bummer.
Sweet Cheese lost about the same amount from the storm, leaving about 25% left. She actually survived for 2 weeks and her buds got a chance to swell up. I started to see her take a turn for the worse with rapid dying off for two days, so I cut down what was left today. It's hanging to dry. I don't have pictures yet. Sorry. This whole grow is disappointing, but maybe I'll get something out of it.
If you want to see some other monster plants I'm growing outdoors (though not as big) that I really like the looks of, check out my Kannabia Kiss and Kannabis Mataro Blue diaries I am still growing out there now.
I'll be back shortly with some drying pictures. I'm not even going to bother with a weight because yeah. Have fun, and thank you so much for all the support to everyone throughout this growing experience!
Edit: Added a picture of the crop hanging. This is all I got out of both plants. This is about 25% of Sweet Cheese only. Chocolopez didn't make it. It has been drying for 4 days. Tomorrow I trim it all.
