Day 1 is here!! Discovered this little Diesel girl showed her head this morning when I walked outside to check. sprouted her outdoors now moved inside under my LED. this will be my second photo grow. thinking about trying my hand at main lining her.
week 4 is upon us. and today was the wonderful topping day! I love it and hate it bc she was so beautiful and had her hands to the heavens and BOOM I had to take her down a notch. but it's also great bc its another step closer to bloom. she's doing great though. she had a few days of a lot of light bc my timer malfunctioned but she's looking good.
well had some delays and bad things happen while training. I had 4 main branches and some how one of them snapped, didnt seem like it was stressed as much as the others so I'm not sure what happened. but now it's a tri-branch. but I have now flipped and just gonna finish her up. this will go on the books as my worse grow I already know. just haven't done as much as I should have and have a lot of other things going on. gonna grow another Barneys farm strand after this one and actually try with it.
I'm a slacker. just honestly been lazy. not a lot of interest it seems in the diary lol so just kinda put it off for a few weeks. but shes doing good. really seems to be enjoying life. really would love to see what she would look like of the other main branch hadn't have snapped. but buds are in the process of growing and putting off a really good smell.
Defoliating late in flower is never a good thing stresses out the plant a little bit slowing down bud production . You can take a way a few leaves at a time if they are shading other bud sites but be sparing about this if you feel that you have to do it to many sites do a little bit wait a few days like 3-4 to see how your plant reacts then repeat this process until your happy . Usually people will do a heavy defoliation just before the start of flower in order to make the plant focus its energy to the growers needs . From what I can see in your diary you are well on your way to getting some kick ass medicine ! I hope this information helps you understand when to defoliate and when its acceptable to take a way a few leaves . -Happy Growing!
Even though ive been lazy on this grow, shes doing great! Great frost and good mild smell. Shes looking more and more tasty every day. Barneys Farm really did a great job on strength with this one.
Once again my lights are right on top of this girl. (Finally a 7ft after this grow is done!) But shes looking great. I did feed her a little too much this past week but i gave her a few days of good clean water and shes looking good. Smell is starting to get a lot stronger. Mouth is watering more and more everyday!
Shes still chugging along, seems to be going very slowly. Ive put her through hell so could be why. Ive been as stressed during this grow as she has been. Lol but hopefully shell bulk up a little and put off some quality nugs.
The beautiful red hairs are starting to come out and brightening up! The smell is getting stronger as well. She worried me at points but i think shes really beautiful now and looking tasty!
Still a few weeks out from harvest. But whats your trimmimg/drying/curing technique? Anyone ever "wash" their buds? Cut branches or hang entire plant? Also tips on things to do with sugar leaves and trimming.

If you are looking for suggestions for sugar leaves and trim then look no further than Dry ice hash! I tried it on my last harvest and was shocked at the results and the best part is that its cheap!! You just need some bubble bags and 3 pounds of dry ice. I spent 20$ on the bags (that last for years) and 1.50 per pounds of dry ice. Check out my Granddaddy Purple Diary video to get an idea of what it looks like. 👊👊 Bud washing is a fantastic process that can help with light powdery mildew or general dust and debris especially indoors when you have animals!
