4/11 - scuffed the seed then dropped in water. It immediately sank, but was floating when checked in 12 hours.
4/12 - upon further inspection, the seed was cracking open, placed on paper towel. 12 hours later, a small tail appeared. Placed in a solo cup of Fox Farm Happy Frog and watered in.
4/15 - she broke ground!
4/20 - gave her some water with nutrients, just enough to flood the top and sink in twice, not much dripped out the bottom
4/22 - the root is coming out the bottom of the cup, gonna pot up to a 3 gallon fabric pot soon
4/23 - transplanted into a 3 gallon fabric pot, watered in to minimize transplant shock, gave a half gallon of pH adjusted water and a half dose of Recharge
4/26 - noticed fungus gnats, put in a sticky trap. The fabric pot was used before, probably the source of the eggs.
5/1 - fed and watered, gave about a half gallon
5/9 - added clips to start training the branches down
5/11 - watered and fed, gave her about a half gallon of water with nutes
5/14 - she split. I removed the weaker side, but the she split more, so I topped her. Only 3 nodes now. Gave her about 3/4 of a gallon of pH adjusted water with Recharge to hopefully reduce shock. She was feeling a bit dry anyway. But no nutes today.
5/17 - she pulled all of the stakes put, so I removed them, don't need her to split again. She'll grow naturally from here, no more training, probably.
5/18 - used some armature wire to straighten out the branches a bit
5/22 - she was looking a bit limp, watered and fed her, gave her about 3/4 gallon, raised the lights 5 inches
5/25 - looking a bit droopy, fed and watered, gave her about a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutes, and trimmed some of the yellowing lower leaves
5/29 - fed and watered, gave her a half gallon of water with nutes. It ran through quickly and some spilled out of the drip tray, but she absorbed the rest.
6/1 - raised the light as high as it goes and she's still too close. She may get moved outside soon if she doesn't stop stretching.
6/2 - fed and watered, gave her about a half gallon of water
6/6 - gave her a bit of water and nutrients that the Cauldron Cakes didn't drink up
6/8 - fed and watered, gave her a half gallon of pH adjusted water with nutes and removed some yellowing leaves, some pistils are starting to darken and she's putting on some frost. Has a fruity smell, but I can't quite place it yet.
6/11 - fed and watered, gave about 3 quarts of pH adjusted water with nutes
6/15 - fed and watered, gave her about 3/4 of a gallon if pH adjusted water with nutes, also pinched off some of the lower yellowing leaves
6/18 - seeing a few amber trichs, will start flushing, she may be done in a week or so
6/20 - started the flush, gave her 3/4 of a gallon of pH adjusted water
6/22 - continued to flush, gave her 3/4 of a gallon of pH adjusted water
6/26 - defoliated a bit, removed yellowing leaves, still needs more taken off, then flushed with about 3 quarts of pH adjusted water
6/29 - defoliated her quite a bit, removed all the large and medium fan leaves, then flushed her with pH adjusted water for the last time. Now for the soil to dry out, then she'll get chopped.
7/2 - she's just about dried out and ready for chop. Placed her in darkness for 24 hours, will chop tomorrow.
Would be a good idea to add some worm castings when the pre flowers appear to give a boost in nitrogen for the stretch. She took the training well, but did what she wanted to do anyway. Make sure to leave a little extra stem when topping or wait until the stem is thicker.
