RQS Hulkberry

Week 1 of Veg! I am looking forward to the growth journey with this strain! I will be keeping her humidity done on her for a week or so depending on her growth rate.

Week 2 for the lovely lady! She has already demanded magnesium, so I started her on nutes this week. She is much happier. Excited to continue to watch her grow!

This little lady got her roots dug in a took off! She is doing lovely, and will be put into her 5gal fabric pot within the next two weeks. She has come out of her early mag deficiency with vigor! I can tell she is going to be heavy on the nutes already! She will be getting topped within the next week(ish) depending on how her nodes start spacing out as she grows. Week 3 of veg has been a week of upgrades! She has been moved to the big tent for much more light and a big space all her self. She has also gotten her big girl pot and got topped this week! She handled it all in stride and is happily praying away 😊 Planning her grow almost identical to my White Widow grow (see diary) so she has big shoes to fill, but I have no doubt she will be great! Upped her nutes just a tad to accommodate her growth.

Wow this lady is a hungry one! She just keeps demanding the CalMag! She has been a bit tough to open up the center as her branches are REALLY dense and don’t want to bend, so I will be letting her grow pretty normally with just a bit of guidance! She is just a perfect little bush right now and I am loving how she is coming along so far!

Starting week 6 off strong! She is still yelling at me for more ClaMag so she shall receive! She is already at what my last grow maxed out at on CalMag. So interesting how different strain require such varying amounts sometimes! So excited to continue to watch her grow!

Still growing strong! One more week before flower. Her structure is beautiful and strong! She is DENSE! This girl has needed some heavy pruning and defol along the way to keep on top of her airflow. Super happy with this grow thus far. Monitoring her living soil and her relationships with the fungi and bacteria that exist there is amazing! I will be buying a nicer microscope to be able to pick up the organisms more clearly to post on here (and to study of course!) 🙂 Happy growing friends!

Week 10 of veg! Her final week before flower! She will be flipped June 22nd. She has been growing absolutely fantastic. I have had no issues with her whatsoever up to this point, she has been a no-fuss plant for sure! She has been topped a total of 3 times and has had the middle core cleared out for airflow and light penetration. I have been checking samples of her living soil under the microscope weekly. Monitoring the ecosystem below, and watching all of the new and beneficial life that takes care of my lady is incredible! The species diversity of fungi, bacteria, nematodes, and other organisms grows almost daily!

First week of flower! I absolutely love the way this plant is growing. I have hollowed out her center and cut a lot of the “noodle” branches out in preparation for flower so I will take very minimal, if any off during flower. Just some big fan leaves here and there! I am slowly dropping the Grow Big and adding Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom to the feed in small increments. The soil itself is thriving and has a large, diverse ecosystem! This plant is ALWAYS perky and is super sticky to defol. She smells amazing! Still have had zero issues with this strain. She is an easy, hands off plant for sure!

I just love opening the tent to this lady each morning! This grow will definitely sit high on my list of favorites! I am still on the transition feed recipe and slowly lowering the Grow Big while increasing the Tiger Bloom. I love to sit and watch the soil move and breath and take notice of all of the tiny creatures within it making my plant so happy and healthy! At this point, I am pulling a leaf or two here and there as they shadow buds or block airflow, but she really has grown a great structure and has a nice spread so not much defol is needed!

Week 3 has brought on absolutely beautiful smells and some crazy stretching! This plant puts a huge smile on my face each morning when I open the tent. I will have completely cut out the Grow Big by the end of this week and switched fully to the flower recipe.

Each morning I am greeted by a lovely, pungent, piney smell when I open the tent! This plant smells absolutely amazing. I am loving her strain and genetics more and more each week! She continues to have no bug issues nor mildew. And is proving very resistant and strong! Her soil ecosystem is thriving! In turn, she is healthy and happy 🙂 Looking forward to a great harvest with this one with a just over halfway to go!

Who that smell! Holy cow this girl smells up my whole house and I absolutely love it! This Hulkberry is growing just great and packing weight onto those buds. Her colas are getting heavy, but she has a really strong structure and has no problem supporting them thus far. I have begun lowering her nutes a bit throughout the week. I will not be cutting them out completely nor flushing, but she will be receiving lower amounts as she will be using up her own energy vs taking up the nutes from the soil in the last couple weeks. Happiness is opening the tent each morning to this plant! Her scent grows exponentially almost daily. She is a frosty lady and packing more trichomes on daily! The trichomes are still almost all clear with mabey 10% being cloudy on the larger top buds. I am thinking she will be closer to a 10wk finisher, but we will see! I am continuing to slowly lower her nutes over the weeks as we get closer to the end. Also continuing to pull large fan leaves that may be blocking or rubbing against and causing damage to other buds. As always, happy growing and stay safe friends ✌️🏻😊

Almost there! This plant is a beauty and I sure am going to miss opening the tent to her each morning! She smells absolutely incredible! I anticipate her giving some great weight. I have continued to pull big fan leaves in preparation for harvest. She has continued to pack on the weight! Very much looking forward to smoking this one!

Her least week standing! This plant has been an absolute joy to grow. Her stocky pheno allows her to really hold some weight! I could grow this strain over and over again and not get sick of it! The smell is stronger then any other plant I have grown and it smells incredible. She has packed on the frost from the start of flower and is extremely sticky! She is going to be a good one to smoke!

This grow went by way to quick! This plant was an absolute joy to grow and nurture. She was extremely easy and hands off! She has an very strong pest and disease resistance and I had zero issues with any cannabis pests nor pm or botrytis! I will 100% recommend this strain and breeder to any grower who will listen. I just cannot say enough great things about this grow! I am very happy with how this grow came out. She came out as a heavy hitter with a wet trimmed weigh in at 7lbs 2.6oz! She has given me the biggest harvest I have had this far.
