A couple of 2 oz ea Cobbs have been prepped, as well as vac-sealed pkg’s for Freezer curing… this while crop I’m prepping for storage.
Smoke review
We are a week into this years treatments; Cobbs, Frozen curing and of course, burning samples along the way. This plant exploded, and exceeded any expectations. She is invited back, big time!
Flavour and smell have not really peaked yet, so these storage methods are aimed at longer term, untouched storage. Word in Cobb preparations is that they can actually increase strength and effects, as months go by…
Cheers. Was amazing to get over a Lb of solid bud. Lots of good shake will see butter use.
And I got really really high already with that sampler.
All is good
@1Right_Angle, A old friend who grew outdoors declared the sex of the plants before taking them out into the field, leaving them in the dark for a couple of days.
@amazongrow, i hear footsteps AG lol. Seriously it has jumped. Spoke to partner about these long limbs and applying some LST. We decided against it, with nodes 3, 4 and 5 in action… were gonna provide Support where and when needed ! And otherwise, we’re gonna let Frankie Go Loose !
Should be Fun bro
😎
@1Right_Angle, huh. A trick I found this year is putting a bag of buds underwater before sealing. The hydrostatic pressure seals nicely without risk of too much suction like on some vacuum sealers. Easy way to do fresh frozen while minimizing oxidation.
@Northern_Ent, actually its almost like a fermentation process. It gets the bud to sweat, and the whole mass becomes the same strength. Possibly stronger than it went in at.
The process allows it to be stored for a long time. And away from O2
@Northern_Ent, Thanks for sharing that LOL with me… it was a glorious 20 minute drive I have to tell you.
With a 3-noded plant, I never imagined a structure coming apart into 6 pieces, so easily. This plant was almost intuitive, in its simplicity
