I'm loving the autopots. I did have a flood due to one of the valves not being installed correctly. Make very sure they are completely pushed down into where the little arms rest. Cleaning up the flood wasn't a big deal. I bought another set of autopots for my second tent.
Some yellowing of the leaves on one and the start of nutrient burn on two. I realized I was feeding way too hot - the feed chart I'm using is "custom" but it's practically the same as the full strength GH chart. I dropped the PPM from 720 to 450 by just adding RO water. Plants have already recovered.
Using the scrog net is easy and it's filling out well.
@Gejlord, Yes! You're absolutely right. I made the mistake of initially underfeeding them, and then over-corrected and overfed and burned them. Yield/growth has been substantially affected because of that. On the plus side I know what PPM I should be targeting and dialed it in on the other grow I have going right now.
Hell yes on flipping to flower. On my Apex R1s I've been feeding at 1700-1800 EC in coco and they still seem hungry. Seeing the first trichomes! Looking forward to how your grow turns out!
I have definitely noticed that Apex R1 seems to be lighter in general on its leaves. Keep an eye on pH as well, I had a pH problem early on that I ironed out but am still dealing with the consequences.
@ThaDollaGenerale, Thanks! After the dry and cure all of mine smell like pine trees. I love it and I'm very pleased with the overall result. I saw you chopped yours too - I'm eager to hear what the final product is like!
why would you consider even inspecting with a microscope when your plant has 100% white hairs...that means 100% clear trichomes ...lol your gentic states 63 days of flower, you are barely even half way there ... Considering you burnt the living hell out of them they will take more than 63 days of flower bud
