GG4 sherbet.
The last few pics from today day 28, so thats us at 4 weeks old. We've got another couple of weeks before I flip them yet.
I've topped them both last week, both have responded well. Also gave a big defoil and got the plant wire out (even though I promised myself I wasn't going too) lol.
I keep thinking get a net for the tent and I'm running out of time to do that, I'll get one in this week coming up and start messing around with it.
Will keep adding the Great white every week until I run out of the stuff and get another tub. I've switched the myco chum for b52 just as the tropicanas are showing some k def.
@Swollen, 2 have been germed, I was planning on doing a 6 week or so veg, so I can fill out the tent with the 6 that I've got going. I've got a nice wee cheat guide also, thanks to you. I'm calling today day 1. The purple colours on yours buddy are beautiful 😍 🤩
@Stork, it's been a good first week. I'm currently learning about how much water the pots need, as I've only done 2 in coco before I'm glad they are all well and looking healthy.
Hey brother, glad to see you made the switch to Coco! Once you get it dialed in you will NEVER go back to soil, I can guarantee that, the roots absolutely explode in coco. Only medium I use and thats for cannabis and my vegetables. If you have any questions along the way hit me up and good luck brother!!!
@Aldo90, Hey now, your are correct, the ppm is just half the number of ec. So if your ec is 800 your ppm would be 400. So if you are feeding at a ppm of 700, make sure your runoff is only around 800 ppm. If it is much higher than that increase the amount of fertigation or the fertigation events per 24 hours. If your runoff is too high that means the Coco is drying out too much resulting in more salts which will harm the roots over time...
@Canna96, I've been checking both the pH and ppm runoff. Do I need to get an ec meter or is the ppm one OK? I thought they were both the same thing but different way to measure it. Again sorry if that seems daft lol
@Aldo90, you are correct the runoff is waste, however I mix mine with my dehumidifier water to lower the EC then PH it and feed it to my outdoor tomatoes which love it. You should also keep an eye on the EC of the runoff, if it gets too high that means your plant is drying out too much between feedings causing the salt content and ec to spike in your medium. I grow everything in coir so any more questions hit me up and good luck!
