Germinating using root riot rapid rooters and start feeding after accouple days after sprouting
Could of had 100% germ rate but my seedling mat was too hot cooking 3 seeds
Opted for a longer veg time to take some clones from the lower branches and to fill the tent
some lower leaves have started showing some spotting and yellowing , will start feeding later this week using lotus bloom nutrients
Day 4 of flower and everything is running smooth. I've started using Spider farmer UV & IR grow light after watching Dr. Bruce Bugbee explain the potential benefits of UV.
Thinking about using Co2 to help the plants deal with the temperature, the temps stays closer or above 90 degrees when the light is full power.
Light at 55%
Had to remove 3 plants because they were male. Not much to report, basically have them on auto pilot and watering every 2 days
have the light set between 80%-100% depending on the weather outside as long as I stay under 90 degrees inside the tent
Started using Boost from lotus nutrients see how the plant reacts and if they like it.
Currently have the light set at 90% since the plant develops signs of heat stress at 100%
I have also had the UVA light on for the full 12hr, don't know what I'm expecting just hoping to bring out the colors a bit more
introduced co2 into the grow to help the plants deal with the temps inside the tent, tent can reach over 90 degrees on some days.
Have noticed some coloring happening on one of the plants .
plants are starting to show more colors and some leaves have started to turn brown on the side.
I stopped giving the boost nutrients because every time I did the plants would sag almost like they wanted water , maybe ill try it again next run these plant just didn't seem to like it at all (used once a week)
I noticed some bleaching starting on accouple leaves so I switched the schedule from 12h of UV light to 8h and if it continues ill probably lower it to around 6 hours
light at 100%
one plant has starting to take a weird shape maybe fox tailing. two of the plants are showing a lot of color but I'm wondering what is causing some of the leaves to turn brown and break off?
I started fluctuating the UV light timer to 8hr one day and 4hr the day after. light at 80% some days it will get to 95 degrees with light on full power
Not a fan of the foxtailing or whatever is happening to get that nug structure on 2 plants in the back
Would also like to know why the fan leaves die right after changing colors but other than that smooth sailing
Going into week 9 of flowering at everything running smooth. I've started using a dehumidifier to help with the moisture from getting too high.
The co2 bag combined with the weather I will see over 70% Rh so powdery mildew isn't out of the question, kind of have to hope for the best.
Not happy how the 2 plant that have extreme fox tailing turned out , other than the nug structure it didn't really develop any trichomes.
I would say they look like the small colas you get in the beginning of flower but a clustered up with barely any trichomes .
Left the light on 24hr for 5 days before chopping and plants were fed ph balanced water. Pretty happy with the result, the only thing is I should've had an AC to better control the heat and humidity .
Will definitely grow again and see how it turns out in better conditions.
