Well we finally had a week without a big storm! Seems like it was the first week this whole grow, I'm sure the girls enjoyed not having to hold on for their lives in torrential downpours and heavy winds. Just lots of sunshine, but cooler with highs around 22-24Β°C and lows down to 10Β°C overnight. Light defoliation beginning of the week, just taking out fan leaves from center and some small branches that were not really getting any sun/growth. Looked a lot better after and they didn't even seem phased by the haircut. Bud sites really showing themselves now and starting to hint at the potential of these plants. Smell is starting already, I can get a whiff of them from 100' away on my porch, and when you walk between them it's just a nice enveloping smell. Once the buds really fill in I'm sure my neighbors will notice (they have commented previous years when I have a particularly stinky strain).
#1 is still looking about a week ahead of #2.
Let the good times roll.
@Grow_for_Happiness, the Bubba Kush proved itself to me last year when it resisted the pervasive powdery mildew in our neighbourhood. But I'm still holding my breath as well until I see more Heat.
Your Bubba Kush Flowers are going to be huge! Enjoy π
@Grisly, thanks dude I'm holding my breath hoping for the same, at this rate it'll be mid October π¬. Apparently this strain is mold/mildew resistant but still π€
Beautiful plant and whole outdoor diary! Lots of great inspiration. I also grew a huge Bruce Banner #3 plant outside. You can check it out on my profile. Peace and enjoy your fruits.ππ
