So here I was, mid week and I think, "I better check the trichomes with a scope". To my surprise, we already have ripe cloudy trichomes, and the odd redhead! Thought they needed another week but it's at the point where I like it, and I feel the timing is good because the fog and humidity has been brutal. Multiple people I know this season have lost whole plants to rot/WPM. Every day checking plant picking off suspicious looking buds. Will have to go over well while cleaning up for the dry tent. Have the tent venting directly outside no filter just incase rot is present and gets airborne leaves me with just the fan to clean. Will also mean daily checking of the tent to make sure nothing pops up, as rot starts inside the bud and works it's way out so not always present right at harvest.
Did a defoliation at beginning of week when saw daily fog coming, hope.ot saves me the worst of the issues π€.
It's been a great summer, lots of crazy weather but they made it in one piece! Let's hope harvest and dry/cure goes well π€
@Grow_for_Happiness, the Bubba Kush proved itself to me last year when it resisted the pervasive powdery mildew in our neighbourhood. But I'm still holding my breath as well until I see more Heat.
Your Bubba Kush Flowers are going to be huge! Enjoy π
@Grisly, thanks dude I'm holding my breath hoping for the same, at this rate it'll be mid October π¬. Apparently this strain is mold/mildew resistant but still π€
Beautiful plant and whole outdoor diary! Lots of great inspiration. I also grew a huge Bruce Banner #3 plant outside. You can check it out on my profile. Peace and enjoy your fruits.ππ
