Had a very hot week filled with random thunderstorms that dumped between 5mm-20mm in a matter of minutes then back to humid sunny. Many days were 32Β°C but with humidity pushing 40Β°C. Girls were taking 30 liters water every 2 days but otherwise happy.
Good news, finally got the Crop Defender in and seems like I might have fixed the bug issue π€. One more spray tomorrow night for good measure but haven't seen anything last two days! The fogger is already paying for itself, coats the plants so much easier than a spray bottle and much much faster. Can do a whole plant in 3-5 minutes easily.
Branches are very sturdy at base and not bending for first 12" so got the ties back in place and widened both girls out. This week or early next will get the trellis and cage installed to support these soon to be beasts.
That's it for now, hope everyone had a good week and happy growing!
@Grow_for_Happiness, the Bubba Kush proved itself to me last year when it resisted the pervasive powdery mildew in our neighbourhood. But I'm still holding my breath as well until I see more Heat.
Your Bubba Kush Flowers are going to be huge! Enjoy π
@Grisly, thanks dude I'm holding my breath hoping for the same, at this rate it'll be mid October π¬. Apparently this strain is mold/mildew resistant but still π€
Beautiful plant and whole outdoor diary! Lots of great inspiration. I also grew a huge Bruce Banner #3 plant outside. You can check it out on my profile. Peace and enjoy your fruits.ππ
