Started by soaking the seed for 18 hrs than put in paper towel. Tap root popped after 24 hours.
Has not grown much in 4 days but I moved it to the DWC bucket and lowered the light. The tap root was sticking out about 1/2" from the bottom of the rockwool.
Moved the light up to 18" she is not getting as tall as o thought but it's still early. There is some Brown on leaves which is concerning me cause I'm not sure what it from. The roots look healthy and I'm going to change the water this week. This is my first indoor grow and my first DWC.
Still not getting very tall but lots of shuts starting. It not being very tall is going to make it tough to do some LTS. Under the recommendation of my local Hydro store I added two new and expensive nutrients to help develop healthy roots. I do see a few black spots starting so I'll have to keep an eye on that.
It really starting to bush out now but I'm still having some small issue with the nutrients. It's much better than the first week but now there is a green slim all over my roots. I'm not sure if that's from new stuff I added last week but the guy at the Hydro store said that my buckets would be clean and they are far from it as you can tell in the last picture. I clean the buckets every week so heres to a fresh start. I did not add the other two nutrients from last week as I was only instructed to use this for first 2 weeks of veg and first two weeks of flower.
It's been a rough go for me but this is my first (might be my last for a while) DWC grow. I dealt with algae from light leaks in my white buckets and now all the leaves have some some of brown spots on them, I killed the algae with peroxide and then got new black bucket. This plant has been thru some serious stress in its life I would be surprised if she survives. She is starting to produce pistols so who knows what is going to happen.
She started to flower this week. Most leaves still have a few marks on them from to much nutrients I believe. I only put 4 m/l total nuts in the reservoir this week and it seems to be a much better amount. Looks like a little algea is starting to coming back so I'm going to have to get out the peroxide again. This poor girl has.been through so much in her short life it's amazing she is till alive.
Buds are starting to form up pretty good. I surprised how many there are on this plant with all its been thru. No real issues this week first time so far
The buds are getting fatter and the smell is getting stronger. She is still growing taller but I hope she stops soon because my light can't go much higher.
My grow tent is in the basement and now that the cold weather is coming I'm having some issues keeping it warm enough....I guess this is a down side to LED lights. I picked up a little space heater tonight to try and keep the temperatures in the 70's. This poor girl has been thru so much stress in her life it's amazing she made it this far. This strain is a strong one
The buds do not seem to be getting much larger over the last three weeks. Still having some trouble with temperature even after adding the heater. The temp ranges from 68 to as high as 85 through out the night and day. Also now that I have added the heater it's too dry inside my tent so I have to start up the humidifier. On top of all of that I found spider mites which i have started to treat but if I don't get them under control this week I may just give up on this plant.
I chopped off the main cola is hopes it will put focus on the other buds. It took some heat damage this week from the new heater. This will be the last week it gets nutrients than I'm going to start the flush.
The buds are getting much more dense so I decided to feed her for one more week than start the flush. This is her second feeding with he Bud Candy. Two more weeks till harvest!
This is my first DWC cannabis grow and I'm not really sure how long to flush her for. Next week my plan is to change the water and PH it to 5.5 and obviously add no nutrients. I have read that with DWC you don't need to flush as long so I was thinking of waiting 1 full week?
Hello ! In hydro / DWC you need to flush during 5 to 10 days so a week is the average 👍 I would also flush with a 5.8 PH which is the sweet pot in hydro. I hope it will help you 😁👍
Well it's been a run ride growing this plant I have learned so much. I started the flush today so all she got was a fresh bucket of water with a ph of 5.8 the buds are not are starting to get some Amber trichomes so its time.
Over all experience I can't say anything negative. It's a amazing I didn't kill this thing she survived every issue I threw at her. This was my first indoor grow and my first DWC grow which was a horrible combination. Although I can say I learned at and this community is amazing and super helpful. I just fudged the dry weight for now I'll come back in a week and update the dairy. Than a couple more weeks after that I'll let you know how she taste. I have a feeling this stuff will be way to strong for me because she was full of trichomes.

Just uploaded a few more pictures now it has dried out for a week and wanted to update the dried weight as I don't see it losing to much bore weight. I still need a couple more week till I can update the taste and effects.
Hey,I'm starting an RQS White widow auto too, with almost the same LED setup. But i'm using soil instead of hydroponic. It will be interesting to see the grow progress on our grow and compareing it later on. I'll follow your journey :) have a great grow.
It can be anything. Probably the failure was on my hand. But RQS guys covered the lost, without problem. They are awesome. Their product is awesome. This time it's just an exception.
@bluetonic,that's a great idea I will follow your grow as well because my next grow may not be Hydro depending on the results. Crappy to hear about your other seeds cause I have had nothing but luck with RQS
@CBDezz I want to suggest you get some hydroguard and dump it in your basin. It will assist with keeping your roots nice and healthy, trust me, you'll love it.
You actually want to tear a small piece off the side of the rockwool and cover the top of the hole, gently, don't jam it in there. No light until she breaks the surface. Good luck
Ok, so you are really low on nutrients there with 1ml per litre, when they are suggesting 4. I would feed her another 1ml per litre on your next water feed. Also, I would adjust that ph level to 5.8 (or close to it) twice a day (adjust when you wake up and get home from work/school). Also, what is your tds/ppm? What is your night temp, if its below 62f, I would get a small ceramic heater in there to keep her warm. Good luck with your grow!
@BeefWellingtons,thanks for the help man I don't know why I didn't see this till now. The reason I was giving her so little nutrients cause I thought I was over feeding so I dropped it down to 1ml/l now I'm back to 4 ml. I don't have ppm meter yet just a PH meter.
