@Takeshy: "Medium yield" Hahaha your obviously a perfectionist. I take a harvest from 4 plants like yours anytime, nothing less than an amazing result you got :) What's your best yielding strain in DWC Takeshy?
Takeshy
Takeshycommented6 years ago
@sanderndk, Eheh. I had a Blueberry from Barney's Farm with 500g in one plant.

@Takeshy: Can i ask how many times a week your adjust the ec/ph level of your resevoir?
Takeshy
Takeshycommented6 years ago
@sanderndk, I check it everyday but I dont need to adjust it everyday. A pH controller will be a greater addition in the future.

I changed the classification to better describe the yield it made.

@Takeshy, that's how you do it my friend! 56oz!! 14oz per plant and it all looks top shelf! Your a true inspiration to many, and a wake up call to those 'top growers' pulling 20oz from 600w hps. D.I.Y lighting... D.I.Y recirculating deep water culture kit.... your a self made man ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿค—.... did anyone mention GROW OF THE MONTH...???!! All the best Takeshy, thanks for sharing this with us! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ Bigface

@Takeshy I think I know what's happened here!... your bud is so blooming strong ๐Ÿ’ช ๐Ÿ”ฅthat you've Couch-locked yourself away from the scales and the keyboard?! Hope all is well, it will be good to hear from you soon. Regards Bigface

@Takeshy, hey brother! Well I've bitten off all my finger nails with the build up and anticipation of your smoke report and weigh in ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ but then again... they do say you cannot rush greatness or perfection

Takeshycommented6 years ago
@Bigface, I will post the results either today or tomorrow. :) This strain made me really lazy xD

@Takeshy It's been a true pleasure to see this grow unfold and come to fruition, thankyou for the opportunity! Would you kindly take the time to post your dry weight results, when the time comes? Kind regards Bigface
Bigface
Bigfacecommented6 years ago
@Takeshy, I'd like to take a punt and say that each plant must be at least 14 oz dry of prime dense top buds... so 56 oz in total roughly... but for good measure il say 63oz total.... 1764grams!
Takeshy
Takeshycommented6 years ago
@Bigface, In a few days I will post the results :)

Takeshy
Takeshycommented6 years ago
@CommanderCannabis, They just completed 5 weeks, so there's still 3-4 weeks to go. They are a 8-9 week strain.

Hey bro. Amazing work! Can i ask your method of defoliation? How have you targeted which leaves to defoliate.
BreakingBud
BreakingBudcommented6 years ago
@Takeshy,cheers bro, i think ill remove all the fans to.
Takeshy
Takeshycommented6 years ago
@BreakingBud,I removed every fan leaf. I only left the smaller ones. The method used is schwazzing.

In the strain comments you said "Medium yield with lots of trichomes". You harvested 1,600g from a 2.25 sq.m area and 900w on 4 plants. That's 711g/sq.m and 1.78g/watt for the yield, those number IMHO are incredible. Can you tell me what you would have considered "High yield"? This is an honest question, I'm floored by how much you grew in that much space with suck little light. I'd love to know what you were expecting/hoping to get.
Takeshy
Takeshycommented6 years ago
@NomNom, Maybe I was a bit harsh on classifing as "medium yield" but I would only consider a "high yield" strain one that brings me to +2.0g/w :) Maybe with the right pheno it would do that. I would also consider "low yield" if below 1.5g/w.

Did you pre soak the rockwool before planting???...rockwool has a lime content that can't be processed out when making the blocks... You should soak the rockwool they say for 24hrs in ph'd water of 5.5. I soak mine for about half hour which does me ok Reason why to soak them is the plants go yellow as yours are. Probably not down to Ec level...I don't have my EC no higher than around 0.8 or 0.9 at the stage they are. Hope this helps you out :-)
Takeshy
Takeshycommented6 years ago
@@@@@hydrohippy, I pre-soaked the rockwool with RO + Bio Rhizotonic at pH 6 in the first week. Plants are sad because roots are drowning in a wet rockwool due water splash.
hydrohippy
hydrohippycommentedweek 36 years ago
keep up the good work. I'm 4 days in from seed with this strain so watching with interest. What hydro set up are you using? I'm using the nutrient film technique
