This grow is teaching me a ton. I've just recently moved from an area with really good tap water, to an area with poor quality tap water. On top of that, this is my first grow with the mars hydro ts2000. I added Epsom salts on day 56. I used a slightly heaping tablespoon in 5l of water. I'm seeing tip burn on the plants accompanied by loss of color. I was hoping that might have been Mg deficiency but I'm second guessing my feeding schedule. To counteract this, after letting the pots dry out from their Epsom salt feed, I'm going to feed only filtered water for two waterings. Then I will resume feeding with a 1/2 dose of some N heavy nutes, a 1/2 dose of bloom nutes, and one more epsom feed. We will go from there. I'm having temperature fluctuations badly this week as well. Its over 90 outside and the house can easily climb into the 80s. I'm counteracting that by propping the tent open during the day and running an osculating stand fan on it. In the future I would like to add a second vent fan blowing into the tent. I've never wanted a grow to be over so badly. I've made plenty of mistakes, and I'm excited to optimize the set-up for the next run.
By Day 59 I had turned the intensity on the light down, flushed, fed Epsom salts, and a half dose bloom with some added N and I'm noticing significant improvements. The smell is coming back to the tent/room and the girls are fattening up.
@@ScreenOfGreen, Its been frustrating, but I have a specific room in my house I've found that stays much cooler than the rest. Tent will be moved there next time and I can avoid a lot of this stress. Every grow is a learning opp!
