I was thinking they were growing kind of slow outdoors, they say cloudy weather is the same as a 1000w bulb or 500-600w+ LED light but those give 12-18 hours of light per day. The weather is going to drop into the low 60's and that is when growing outdoors isn't really ideal at this time of the year. People usually securely ask for clones, you don't find them, these are not being giving away freely so if your looking for plants you usually need to order them with someone. I don't think these are necessarily outside and usually you need to ask and id prefer keeping mine that way. If you were looking for a strain that has 40% THC you would probably need to find someone that really holds onto it and this one doesn't and im still holding onto it. What id like to do here is start seeds and put them outside, get clones and put more clones outside aswell, its really silly to think that they aren't filling up a greenhouse or using the garden space, they really aren't able to grow large quantities for free that is a fact. Im thinking the sun is great for vegging. The labor involved to grow beyond a few plants really large is alot less than a parttime job but its something that requires a financial investment and takes a significant amount of time out of your day...It isn't anything beyond that mentally, they don't do it because its so difficult. There needs to be a place where you can sign up and take your finished buds and they test them and they either offer you credits that you can spend anywhere in the world, no bad connections. I couldn't imagine any species after the Permian period treating cannabis like this, im kind of feeling slightly happy but slightly unhappy. I know it sounds rougher after a certain age but they think about the same things. I bought something 3000 miles away and im 3000 miles away. Day 15 Veg I brought them back inside and put them under an HLG 650R with a heater because it was only 14c outside and that is to cold for these plants. I think that you can spend more money or less money on your outdoor plants it doesn't matter what you do with them but I think they looked to cold. It would take alot more effort with larger containers but I can still do that even if there in 4-5 gallons. and its going to be cloudy rainy cold for a few days. - So it did get sunny but its only 12c outside so they could of been cold and stuck outside but the cost of using the indoor lights is low enough that you can do that, its a little extra money to keep it at 79-80f. - The statement that we spent a little extra money multiplied by millions is alot of extra money, I like the open spaces but there isn't alot of extra money. - If you spend money to set up a solar system and run your lights with solar all of a sudden your moving your income into another career path supporting someone else while taking the grid out of the equation but your still keeping the hydroponic industry afloat if your making purchases. - In a number of years they'll need more battery power and the grid might not be in the equation and you'll be forced to grow outdoors, sometimes they need to shut down the power for an area for a couple of hours to run the entire grid because there batteries need to charge. - I was able to purchase a co2 tank but I wasn't able to purchase additional watts because the grid was already to stressed by the car industry making HPS an extinct species of Dinosaur. - As far as LED lights are priced they can get very expensive or you can spend less on a 480w board than some of the 600w+ fixtures, but you can run the HLG 260R specs or ViparSpectras and replace alot of lighting for reasonable prices. It can get very expensive to stop using HPS and AC if you purchase the more expensive priced LED fixtures and that means you can spend alot on Mars Hydro if your buying 480w instead of other brands. - If you add a dozen homes anywhere in a location all of a sudden a few of the HPS bulbs don't work anymore. -->The major thing that was insane was that co2 tanks weigh 50lbs full for a 20lb tank and 140lbs full for a 50lb tank so anything but HPS and fresh air is going to consume a huge amount of tanks in a year, so the led lights are really more driven for hot weather, there was a point and then there wasn't a point because you couldn't consume a huge amount of cannabis that was co2 grown. I don't use a co2 tank in the winter or exhaust or intake any fresh air under an HLG650R and they still veg big in 4 weeks, so the only option is those mushroom bags otherwise your spending on tanks. Put the tank back its gas under pressure, its hard to argue about it. Those tanks are like rockets, they store them strapped down there not rolling around. - Never transport a filled CO2 cylinder in a passenger vehicle. Cylinders should never be transported in an enclosed vehicle unless the driver is separated from the cargo by a gas tight barrier. - The first thing is you need the tanks delivered and they need to be put in a safe storage area, the second thing is that they may ask what are they for, are they for welding "no there not". The greenhouse industry uses industrial size co2 tanks and they get them filled, this happens and it is a huge amount of work. Day 18 Veg - They look kind of sick and they haven't grown at all and its been warm and yesterday I was having issues drinking my water and this has been ongoing. It might be the snowpack melt or something else. I ran about two gallons of water through them and the runoff was 0.6-0.8 ec and 0.4 ec and that shouldn't be an issue for growing, theres something going on that I can't figure out. They didn't look like they grew on the first gallon of freshwater yesterday, they looked sick today and the second gallon the runoff wasn't high enough.

Drive your stakes into the ground.

@Todzilla,yhea you can pull the rebar with lawn staples probably I like using rock, you can hold the rebar in with a lawn staple if its not in super deep but I could probably hammer it in as deep as the container, I think that for photography purposes the rock explains the plant, its like the sands of time unfolding before you, you can't explain why something so large is so small yet so many times larger.

@blackskaarj1,I use lawn staples in rocky hard soil and it works for stabilization quite well. The staples are the lowest cost and easiest to install. I also have used bamboo, stakes, and rebar. They all work for wind. You just gotta get it done.

@Todzilla,no you can't use lawn staples you need to take a piece of rebar hammer it into the ground and then put a long piece in and your likely to either hit up against another rock or it'll work or not at all.

Hey, you can get a magnifying glass app for your phone that works good enough to see trichomes. No need for a loupe or physical magnifier. Can get good bud pics easily, even using an old phone.

I did feel that not having any structures or roads in the way of the plants as they grow is better visually, the material that the plants are up against affects how you feel about them. Its better than landscaping that you would normally see, its better. I do encounter alot of wildlife though, its definitely there to see. Its my experience vs your idea of what is supposed to be enjoyable and that means I couldn't imagine it being a good idea for August and September because of the fire season but that is what im looking at.
