There was some sunny weather but it became very rainy and cold, also they need to be fed 5ml/gal ab 5ml/gal pro cal. What I think is that by the end of July they'll be large but its pretty slow at this part. Week 4 to 8 is a reason to purchase Horticulture lighting, indoors a small clone growing for 4 weeks grows way better. The forecast is for more rain and cold weather and that is usually why June isn't always a great growing month. I did manage to feed them a gallon of 5ml ab/gal 5ml procal/gal but it is going to be rainy again, there are alot of fan leaves to use as food so its ok at this point but they do need to be fed here. Its raining again, theres gonna be like another 3 days of rain thats what it is when growing with hydroponics outdoors. As far as how good this strain is, I had a little left from May 2022 and I hardly use it and I vaped, It was so strong that I was overwhelmed by it and that was only the flower not concentrated. It was like there was no decrease in potency and thats from 14 months ago. There is a significantly long shelf life and it wasn't vacuum sealed in the freezer, it was kept cool and dark in the summer and around 5c through the winter. You can vacuum seal and freeze meals and they'll last for years but people cook there own food, they usually don't need to eat additional calories. Theres only so many metric tons of grains produced with a significant portion of the animal product industry replaced with soy products, beans and lentils. Its difficult to replace your diet with nuts and edible seeds such as Quinoa. If I wanted a metric ton of this product I couldn't do it without assessing the amount of additional food that is consumed. With a significant amount of exercise you would consume more calories in one sitting eating beyond your calorie limit with this strain because the human body doesn't lose weight at 3000 calories and often it doesn't at 2000-2500 and its very easy to eat 3000-4000 calories with some people being able to eat 5000+ calories in one sitting. There are agriculture communities where each house has a long field that is used for farming, they don't have a forest, there farming potatoes, yams, veggies, grains on a massive scale and thats what it means, your not opening your refrigerator or your cupboard after you get the munchies. If you've got a 30x100ft greenhouse which are about 10,000 before taxes and shipping and you can grow hundreds of tomato plants but you gotta be able put them into the retail market and turn a profit and that certainly means they've been doing that instead of growing this plant. They were looking at 200 in a 4x4 for heirloom tomatos vs 1-2lbs at prices of 900 upwards of 1800 per lb compared to 20lbs for 80 and 1-2lbs compared to 50lbs+ of tomatoes (non allergen product) and you can pay upwards of 19,000+ for a 30x100ft greenhouse. The ability to dehumidify and prevent disease and heat a greenhouse to extend the growing season is a great benefit. Second season tomatoes are planted mid summer and harvested in the fall, the same you would do with cannabis if you were light depping a greenhouse or growing autoflowers in the early summer and replacing them with a fall harvest strain that finishes in October. If you couldn't get into the tomato market at the time you were still able to produce 10lbs of bubble hash which if there was a dispensary market for it at the time that worked and thats a huge amount of savings in fuel costs, it takes alot of ice to make 100g of bubble hash so they were probably dry sifting it so it wasn't priced as high as bubble hash, I own a bubble magic wash machine and its alot of work working with the 20 gallon bags, you can work the material more than 9 times and it'll take many hours. I like making my own ice cubes but I make only a few trays at a time so it ends up taking a couple weeks to gather enough ice to make it but its kind of fun emptying the ice trays. (There were alot of reductions in canopy space for alot of people including the legal markets, it could be the same with any vegetable grown crops if they don't need it. They throw out alot of cannabis in this industry, it isn't all that great to hear about the expiration dates..) I definitely think that the autos that are done in 10+ weeks from seed are a better option than vegging these, if the thc content was only 20% instead of 25% it doesn't matter at all. Currently these plants could be finished with a light dep with a little more veg time at a good size in the same amount of time that you could start and finish the autoflower varieties that are feminized with a high thc content. One of the issues with the autoflowers is some of them are runts to the point you would need many of them to make up two ounces. Some people would tell you that anything that grows that small isn't worth growing at all and you should only be using light deprivation, or another thing would be that they look ok but not very good visually and I understand you can turn it into hash but I don't want any of it. People can be really critically opinionated about how things look after its trimmed and dried. There are some unfrosty phenotypes or that are to airy that I don't think are particular sought after. I keep looking at these websites selling autoflowers at 20% thc and I keep thinking if a store was buying the flowers you'd want to grow alot of them otherwise its alot of unused flower. All ive read is that they need to be stabilized to be commercialized into the current market and that means they would need a greenhouse with a rolling blackout cover on timers. It reads as if they wouldn't be able to finish mid summer if they were commercialized without a greenhouse. There isn't any sunny weather until week 9, so im definitely loosing around 2 weeks of nice weather for cold, rainy, and cloudy conditions. Its been 48f to under 60f during the day and 40's during the night, that isn't warm at all. You could spend anywhere from 70 to 150 on a 10 pack of seeds meaning if you wanted to do a Sea of Green it could cost over 1000 if it was only a 50% success or two lights if they were feminized beans and you weren't planning on cloning it. Your pretty sure that if there starting a Sea of Green there probably cloning from feminized plants. Thats where its kind of better to start with clones. If you had to take a few hundred to a thousand clones you wouldn't want to at all, its like a job where someone would pay you to do it because you don't want to do it. Most of the processing of this plant after harvest is also something that isn't wanted to be worked on. They'd strip them and throw them into a wash machine that has a screenfilter instead of lifting bags or keep it without being manicured. Its so many times more of an allergen that you wouldn't spend more than 30 seconds manicuring it if you were to use it. In other countries they grow it from seeds, they dry it, its dry sifted but you can't breath it in if you have an allergy to it. Its really only affordable to start a large selection of seeds if you make the seeds yourself into F2's or crossing a clone with a seed plant, its not an easy start. If you had alot of seeds from a previous seed crop it would be easier but mostly your spending alot of time vegging out the seed plants. At no point would anyone want to veg longer than 4 weeks or flower beyond 70 days, it couldn't easily be a 4-5 month expedition, most cannabis plants are staggered to grow and finish within 3 1/2 months or less, the summer is certainly shorter due to May and June, your mostly focused on July and August mentally with September feeling like its to cold. Cannabis can be started and finished in 2 1/2 months but it requires alot of clones. I keep thinking clay pots were what were traditionally used with hemp twine and bamboo being the feature to use in gardening because I didn't really think the polyethylene was really needed but they use alot of netting instead of bamboo. I definitely feel like they should use a biodegradable material for the containers that can be reused. You'll see people use tomato cages instead but its difficult to keep the plants shorter so they would need to build something out of bamboo to make a screen but I don't do that. The plastic containers last a long time but they also need to be replaced if there small containers but not for a very long time. One of the issues I know about with cannabis gardening is that gloves and netting get pretty sticky and is usually not treated as a recyclable, whereas if it was a veggie garden its easily washed and recycled. It isn't an issue of it being recyclable its more an of issue of it not being biodegradable. The geopots and smartpots don't usually get washed by people because they get pretty coated in salt buildup, they probably don't recycle them. I actually think that those breathable containers are for organics. Ive heard they've soaked them in baking and vinegar solutions but you need to use garbage cans to do that, so you need to buy more plastic products in order to use them for a longer period. I purchased seeds this year and I think its kind of fun to start them but these clones are somewhat sentimental, im not entirely sure that its easy to start a plant and throw it away. There definitely is something there that says the clone varieties were kept for a reason. Its alot of work to test through, you couldn't grow a 30%+ thc plant at this point and id think its better because its stronger, I know the edibles aren't usable there so strong on 20%+ thc strains and thats after you've built up a tolerance to vaping it. I can't say they didn't go through the lab work to create and use research substances that were stronger and better that had unknown effects on the brain because of how the edibles worked. Theres a level of abuse on the overdose threshhold and after effects trying to eat this plant. 18% is really strong so if you get prescribed 16% it doesn't mean anything other than your tolerance doesn't require it, you could test any seed plant and it could read between and 15%-30% thc possibly and I don't think it would matter from a usage perspective, I couldn't test it and say it to was to low and needed to be higher. If you get to effected from the substance it doesn't necessarily mean its better to use once in a while or frequently, you could get a stronger phenotype in a pack of seeds it might be to high of an effect for the person using it. There could be a #1, #2, #3, #4 with one of them testing 18% and another testing 28% and you like the 18% better but you kept the other phenos and you didn't throw them away.

Drive your stakes into the ground.

@Todzilla,yhea you can pull the rebar with lawn staples probably I like using rock, you can hold the rebar in with a lawn staple if its not in super deep but I could probably hammer it in as deep as the container, I think that for photography purposes the rock explains the plant, its like the sands of time unfolding before you, you can't explain why something so large is so small yet so many times larger.

@blackskaarj1,I use lawn staples in rocky hard soil and it works for stabilization quite well. The staples are the lowest cost and easiest to install. I also have used bamboo, stakes, and rebar. They all work for wind. You just gotta get it done.

@Todzilla,no you can't use lawn staples you need to take a piece of rebar hammer it into the ground and then put a long piece in and your likely to either hit up against another rock or it'll work or not at all.

Hey, you can get a magnifying glass app for your phone that works good enough to see trichomes. No need for a loupe or physical magnifier. Can get good bud pics easily, even using an old phone.

I did feel that not having any structures or roads in the way of the plants as they grow is better visually, the material that the plants are up against affects how you feel about them. Its better than landscaping that you would normally see, its better. I do encounter alot of wildlife though, its definitely there to see. Its my experience vs your idea of what is supposed to be enjoyable and that means I couldn't imagine it being a good idea for August and September because of the fire season but that is what im looking at.
