Nice and big fast growing plant produced nice buds but they are not as dense as more indica-leaning plants. Lower half harvested Oct 21 and the extra week or so definitely helped mature the lower buds. Not much change in the large cola since the first round was harvested. Big plant done as a 16 cola manifold and it worked well. No problems at all, just fast easy growing. She was maybe a bit slow maturing for what I need here but I only phyto-forced with a 730 nm red light for a few seconds at dusk and didn’t have to cover the plant to initiate flowering which is good this far North. 👍👍Big cola from second round is being hung dry and the rest was fresh frozen to make piatella hash. To be updated.
Smoke review
Nice big plant was fun to grow. Buds finished under weak sunlight during an unusually warm October and was harvested right before the first snowfall. Buds are big but not very dense, and I had better trichomes on a Bruce Banner auto last year that finished in August rather than October. Stronger light produces stronger buds. This still worked great, and buds would be even better further south. Great outdoor plant.

@Northern_Ent,Good morning, Woke up this morning to -2c, frost all over everything. I forgot to bring my little mystery plant in, it was pretty much frozen so I don't know of it will survive or not 😵 . Everything in the greenhouse survived with no issues, it was +5c in the greenhouse this morning . You can still go an hour south from Dryden before you hit the border at Fort Francis, International Falls. I don't go that way very often but I do go to Dryden now and then for supplies etc., my Wife and I take a ride on the Harleys and go for a burger at the chipstand once in awhile,(great burgers and reasonably priced) it's about a 2 hour round trip from where we live. Smok'em if you got'em!!!

@northernMike, summers here really are very good. I remember driving out to Ontario and seeing a rental truck in Dryden, near the 49th parallel, saying “we know the North” but it’s as far south as you can go in western Canada. I know winters in the shield are hardcore, it was just funny to be thinking how far south we were and then to see that. Cheers.

@Northern_Ent, I lived in Edmonton in 1986-87 when that big tornado went through, I still have the newspaper from that day packed away somewhere. I worked at an Italian restaurant called the San Remo as a dishwasher and prepper six days a week after school including Sundays. I still have a couple of cousins in Edmonton, but I haven't talked to them in over thirty years. Later!!

@yan402, I’ve made pressed hash from dried flowers in years past, but this is first year using fresh frozen. Will do cold curing this time (couple months in fridge) which is apparently known as piatella hash. See my Golosa diary for previous hash making.

@BudBoutique, thanks, eh? It’s been a longer than normal season but the last plants are coming down in the next few days. Snow is forecast for Monday (four days from now) and that will be another season done. Drilled a couple holes with the plan to take it down in 3 days.
