June 15: very hot last week but thankfully finished with a lot of rain. Had about 64 mm (2.5”) over 48 h which will certainly help the forest fires. 👍👍 Plant is doing great. Waiting to grow out a bit further after first topping and will do the second round to make the 8 cola manifold. Still early enough might go for 16 colas…TBD. June 17: tied main stems apart using pipe cleaners and paper clips. Not quite ready for second topping but soon. June 20: second round of topping to get to 8 colas. Cold overnight hitting 5 C early on June 21 but missed on my charts. June 21: Happy Solstice. Next two weeks should be good cannabis weather and I’m sure she’s going to grow really quickly now. Plan is to force flowering starting August 1 so there is another six weeks of vegging…she’s doing fine and on schedule. I love fast growing cannabis plants and this is definitely a very robust and fast growing strain. 👍👍 No watering or foliar sprays for any plants during last week of rain. Still showing all nutes because I can’t be bothered to delete them this week and have to re enter next week. Will do a foliar spray tomorrow morning.

@Northern_Ent,Good morning, Woke up this morning to -2c, frost all over everything. I forgot to bring my little mystery plant in, it was pretty much frozen so I don't know of it will survive or not 😵 . Everything in the greenhouse survived with no issues, it was +5c in the greenhouse this morning . You can still go an hour south from Dryden before you hit the border at Fort Francis, International Falls. I don't go that way very often but I do go to Dryden now and then for supplies etc., my Wife and I take a ride on the Harleys and go for a burger at the chipstand once in awhile,(great burgers and reasonably priced) it's about a 2 hour round trip from where we live. Smok'em if you got'em!!!

@northernMike, summers here really are very good. I remember driving out to Ontario and seeing a rental truck in Dryden, near the 49th parallel, saying “we know the North” but it’s as far south as you can go in western Canada. I know winters in the shield are hardcore, it was just funny to be thinking how far south we were and then to see that. Cheers.

@Northern_Ent, I lived in Edmonton in 1986-87 when that big tornado went through, I still have the newspaper from that day packed away somewhere. I worked at an Italian restaurant called the San Remo as a dishwasher and prepper six days a week after school including Sundays. I still have a couple of cousins in Edmonton, but I haven't talked to them in over thirty years. Later!!

@yan402, I’ve made pressed hash from dried flowers in years past, but this is first year using fresh frozen. Will do cold curing this time (couple months in fridge) which is apparently known as piatella hash. See my Golosa diary for previous hash making.

@Northern_Ent,🙏🏻❤️ Are you doing traditional hash or something else?

Hey, what you did with your plants in that machine? Seems like a way to use leaves for edibles or just oil? Would like to know the name of the process😺
Northern_Ent

@Lizard3d, hash washing in a small washing machine. You can find actual clothes washing machines, or branded ones for hash. Can likely find used as they’re not very useful for most people. Look up Frenchy Cannoli on YouTube for hashmaking dskills. Cheers.

@BudBoutique, thanks, eh? It’s been a longer than normal season but the last plants are coming down in the next few days. Snow is forecast for Monday (four days from now) and that will be another season done. Drilled a couple holes with the plan to take it down in 3 days.
