Hello @BudHaks! First you need to drop your PH at the range of 5.5 - 5.8. Second you have to remember that seedlings love a worm and humid environment with temperatures around 26-28 Β°C and RH around 75%-85%. Third it is very important to establish some mycorrhizal fungi to the roots. These beneficial fungus will help your plants with many ways. They give nutrients to the plants in exchange of carbohydrates. They also protect the roots from pathogen fungus's and protects the plant from over/under water. Forth bud candy it will not give any benefit to the plant unless you introduce some beneficial bacteria since coco medium doesn't have by its own. Bud candy is carbohydrates witch are useful as food for the microbes in the medium and plants don't utilize carbohydrates from the soil. Plants are producing their own carbohydrates via photosynthesis. So unless you introduce some beneficial bacteria bud candy is useless. If you decide to introduce beneficial bacteria you also need to add organic molecules to be broke down by bacteria. So if you have bacteria in your coco without having organic molecules is again useless since coco doesn't have. If you decide to use the bud candy and beneficial bacteria then you need to use a product with amino acids ( like nirvana from advanced nutrients ) . Fifth you may want to use a product with enzymes like cannazyme. These products have enzymes specifically for braking down very fast dead roots that comes from the root self pruning effect of the smart pots and give nutrients back to the medium. Happy growing ! πŸ‘Š

When would you suggest, I introduce Canna PK 13/14? I have started to notice white pistols, that I assume is a sign that it's in pre-flower (refer to videos above). What is the optimal PH, PPM, Humidity and Temp at this stage? From the videos, do you see any deficiency?

Hi @BudHaks! What a nice bush you got there! You can keep your relative humidity up to 55% for 2 to 3 weeks but you will need to find a way to decrease to 40-50% to prevent mold formation on buds. It’s best to slightly lower temperatures during the flowering stage, this will help in terpenes & resin production, 20-26 CΒ° is the optimal range for flowering plants. Now about Canna PK 13/14, go for it, your plant will need P+K in the next days but also a slight dose of Nitrogen during the stretch. As long as you don't exceed 50% of what's written on the manufacturer's schedule you should be fine, remember autos are fragile and it's better to fix a deficiency than to [try to] get out of a toxicity. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing! πŸ‘Š

The buds dont seem packing too much girth-what would you suggest to fatten up the buds? (or am I being impatient)-I was advised to lower Canna A-B in order to reduce nitrogen intake to boost PK13/14 to maintain a PPM of 1600. General feedback on nutes will also be appreciated!

Hello @BudHaks ! You don't really have to cut it the coco A&B but if you are still using the biosilicon you have to stop it because it leaves a very bad taste and it takes a lot of time to flush from the plants system. I believe that they will start to fatten this week. Just keep going as you do and keep using the PK booster. When you see the first ( around 10% ) amber trichomes flush with a lot of PH'd water ( 3 times the volume of your pot ) at around 600 ppm ( in order to avoid an osmotic stress ) by using only coco A&B and the PK booster and keep doing that for a week. After that week start using plain water til harvest. If the buds are not fatten up more it might be the genetics or your lights might not have enough strength to fatten them more or you might have them too far because from nutrition and environmental conditions perspective you are perfect and your plant is very healthy. Happy growing ! πŸ‘Š

Hello ! From what I can see all your parameters are good ! Nice led setup with good watts , good medium , temperatures are ok but a bit low , humidity should be a bit higher but that's good enough , but your Ph is not good : in coco you should start at 5.5 or 5.8 at least and slowly increase to 6.3 in late flowering so my advice is to correct you ph asap. 2nd problem is that your seedling are tall so maybe the lights ar too high : are they really at 5 cm from the top of the seedlings ? And last thing to me , your nutrients are all good but it will take a tweak to use them together as I never saw a nutrition schedule with differents brands : so according to me you should stick to the EC to know how you'r feeding them (you'v got an ec/ppm meter right ?!) , I would recommand you to folow your main nutrients schedule : the Coco A+B and tweak it a bit with your booster and additives !! I hope it will help youπŸ˜πŸ‘

@BudHaks Hi there! Your pH is not acidic enough for your coco medium, try to stick in the optimal 5.5-5.8 pH range, this will help your plant to handle nutrients intakes. Managing pH and EC is a must, especially in soilless setups. I guess you're not really in a hydro setup since you're doing hand-watering, so I'd recommend not to overwater the container, mediums (even coco) must alternate between dry and wet phases, in order for the roots to search for water and spread. Your coco should never be 100% dry, but on the other hand it shouldn't stay 100% wet for too long, I think your seedling is suffering from too much humidity in the medium + in the air, roots can't breath and this might lead to deficiencies and/or nutrients lockout later. Now about the seedling stretching, it's probably because of the light-plant distance, which is weird because if your distance is 7cm you should be fine. It could also be the opposite: if the plant-to-light distance is too short, heat might be responsible for the plant stretching. Are you sure your light is not too far neither than too close from the seedling? About the nutrients, Coco by itself has nothing to offer to the roots, so you must add very light doses of nutrients in your waterings, or you may encounter deficiencies very quickly. Roots-stimulator and Nitrogen is all she needs at this stage. Since you're growing an autoflowering strain, don't follow the manufacturer's feeding schedule, start with 1/4 to 1/3 of what they advise, then slowly increase doses if plant is healthy / reacting well to nutrients intakes. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing πŸ‘Š

Looking great ;) so far so good , i got a couple of these girls check um out, they 8weeks old now, goodluck and I will be watching as I want too grow them again but would do a few things diffrant , and these girls will keep growing if you let them I got 1 just over 1metre I did not plan for so keep that In mind, having said that she is indica dominant so I'm sure I coulda kept her shorter if I wanted. I just kept moveing that light then when she hit 3weeks and she had that 2week growth spurt in height she never stopped lol she got legs Good luck with her ;)

A little update guys, Upon advice, I now have Plant Success Great White Mycorrhizal, Canna Cannazym and Nirvana from AN. This should be great for the roots and utilise Bud Candys carbs haha

Hey peeps, Just a little update, I now water her with PH 5.6 water with a PPM reading of 350, with Coco A+B and Rhizotonic. I have also transplanted her into an 11L smart pot (her final home) and I also covered her by 2 inches of coco, to shorten her. I have now turned on my 150W Full Spectrum LED with CREE COB UV IR LED. Honestly, guys, she is already doing so much better! Her next true leaves are emerging so well and I cannot wait to post pictures in a few days when i update my diary! Thank you guys so much!

I see what you're doing but wanted to let you know that you should be quite careful mixing and matching so many different additives and nutes brands... take it slow is what I'm saying, sometimes their nutes aren't always compatible.... Anyways, i see your lamp to plant distiance is really a bit close, your plant is about to do a veg stretch so careful not having the lamp too close. Beyond that i see you've really onboarded everyone's comment, so that's good.

Hi, Yes I think you are IMpatient^^. Everything your Girls need Now is TIME. You can support her Giving her more LIGHT, ( Only more light is more LIght) . If you can Add on more LIGHT and give her more TIME.....( around 4 weeks) you will see how the Buds will Fatten up. Greetings and Happy Growing. She looks like 3 weeks in flower and she realy needs more TIme to give you big Fat Buds.Nutriens alone dont work. its always a combination of potsize, Light, Time and in the End Nutes that make how big your buds get
