Disappointed that only 3 popped up and survived. It sure why that was but I did read that on the Humboldt subreddit. Had to pop more seeds due to this. Cannot wait to grow this cultivar! Been hearing great things and excited to test.
Good first week. Nothing major. Spray bottle every day at night to make sure the soil is wet. Hoping for good things and will continue in the solo cups for a couple more weeks
Another easy week in the bag. Didn't have to do much watering this week. The girls are just chilling and growing. Hoping to transplant them in the next week.
Finally got these girls into their three gallon pots in the medium tent. These three have high expectations placed on them. Reddit has said some harsh things about them so we'll see. Now the real training begins
The first week of transplant went well with these girls. They haven't been watered in a week. Everything's looking good so far though. Gonna top and lollipop this week. Got the sp3000 at 40% like my medic grow.
A real good week in the books. Topped the girls, took off the bottom growth, and watered twice this week. Biggest thing was adding a sound machine into the tent. Hoping it makes a big difference in growth and yield. It makes bird noises to help stimulate the plants. Only time will tell!!
So these girls got topped again. Both main branches and the second branches were topped and the lowest branches were lollipopped off.
I did my first lst ties and in the process I ripped my prize girl up. 😭😭 I taped her up and hoping both sides survive. I've had this happen before but this time I got her good. This stress really ramps up the trichomes so this mistake could work out well if both branches survive
These girls are doing well still. Responded well to their training and recovered from their topping. All is well but haven't watered in a week. They just don't need it!
Another big week in the tent. I trained them with lst ties, defoliated and lollipopped the lower growth. I added the ac infinity self watering pots underneath the fabric pots. You'll also see I add Gaia Green power Bloom on top. I'm flipping to flower so that'll be extra.
With flower I'll also be adding the terminator as recommend. Can't wait to see how this strain turns out!!
A good first week of flower for these girls. They haven't stretched much at all so far but I did install a trellis net for later use. Only a few branches were trained.
Was a great week! I was on vacation so I had my bro water twice this week and fill the self watering pots. And these girls did great! They survived and grew a bunch in their second week of flower stretch.
So I did a ton of lollipopping and defoliation to remove the lower ~70% of the plant. Everything below the trellis net. I only want those big buds so gotta remove them. As @LegacyMarketFarm would say, they got their Schwazze!
Was a great week. Added diatomaceous earth at the beginning of the week to control fungus knats. There weren't many but I don't want any. So also a week of bottom feeding with water into the self watering pots. Now there doesn't seem to be any that I could tell.
The biggest add was the Migro UVB 310! This light should add UVB spectrum to the grow. In the white paper it increased terps on average by 18%. But some plants increased by 40% according to Migro. Either way, with 3% increase being significant. An 18% increase is massive. Can't wait to see, smell and taste the difference!!
She's starting to smell hard to tell right now so I'm holding off. But she's starting to get frosty in the leaves. Can't wait to see
Another great week here. Defoliation a little every day. Today did more than usual but nothing crazy. The smell is great. I can't quite put my finger on it but it's kinda like cotton candy as Humboldt claims. I want to say the power of suggestion but it really smells exotic. Fruity candy.
Watering daily or every other day. Also adding water to to self watering pots as needed.
Starting to use the UVB today!! 🤞😎 Gonna start now at 30 minutes a day for a few days. Then slowly increase as we move forward. They already have a lot of trichomes, as you can see, and I'll look to increase those. I plan on harvesting these girls at week 8 to save the terps as much as possible. Let's go!
Another good week in the bag. The girls are getting water every day. The shortest one drinks the most. Interesting. They have a sugary smell to them. It's hard to describe. I'll be interested in the final smell.
I decided to bust out the microacope and to my surprise the trichomes are pretty milky already! It's only been five weeks! Will monitor to see the amber but still for this early!
Started using the UVB! Started at 30 minutes for a few days. Now at one hour. The tests started at two hours at three weeks out which would be now. So gonna increase tomorrow another thirty and continue to ramp up.
Another great week for these girls! They look great! Yes, thats what they look like. No filters, just frosty buds. They have a very unique "sweet/candy" smell to them. It's very hard to pinpoint. I'll be so curious what the final product becomes.
This tent is doing wonderful compared to the disaster this week in the other tent. (A whole set of genetics hermed mid flower and another girl got aphids). So this is great to have such a wonderful tent here.
The trichomes are really coming through now. The amber is starting to show on one plant. I'm happy cuz the breeder says 55-63 days but I might pull the one in the middle at 49 days. We
And here we are! The end of week 7. And these girls are basically ready. I'm gonna wait a few more days but by Tuesday I predict that I'll pluck them. They are just perfect looking. Fat buds loaded with resin. The smell is interesting. A subtile sweet sugary smell. With a hint of fuel. Very hard to pin down and will be curious with how the final product turns out.
I've been ramping up the UVB 310 over these weeks. Now it's been at 4 hours for the last few days. The girls don't seem to mind. Idk if it has had an effect or not at this moment but I plan on continuing it in the future.
Watering every day or two. Not giving them as much now tho. Letting them dry out a little more.
Cya at harvest!! 🍻
This girl grew great. The nugs are plastered in trichomes. So sticky you can't get them off your fingers. The smell is very light though.
If I could lower the stars I would. The smell is still soft after a sex week cure and yes they needed at least that to start their real smell. It is a cotton candy smell but it's light and sugary. Unfortunately sugar isnt a pungent smell so it's subtle.
Pheno 1 = 86.42g
Grew great. Tasty
Pheno 2 =
Pheno 3 = 56.5g
Good cotton candy taste to it
Was an amazing experience overall. The girls all did great. No complaints. Training went well. Topped twice and lollipopped the lower growth. All the buds, even the lower growth, are large. So frosty too. Amazing overall and will have to grow again as long as I like the smoke.
I hope the birdies help haha. What do you suspect the yellow leaf spots are? I have seen this exact thing in my plant, and doesn't look like the usual cal/mag deficiency with how bright and sudden it came about.
@@resimax, lol me too! So I believe those turning leaves have to do with running out of nutrients in their solo cups plus the stress of transplanting. Once I've topped, lollipoped and trained, they'll look good as new! Check back in a week or two and you won't see much of that. By the time flower comes, we shouldn't see almost any of it. 💪💪
@PapaNugs, Shame on u .. i hope u listen to that song every morning from now on and sing it when u water ur plants! 😂
plants love light and high vibrations 😍
Im on day 32 of growing this strain alongside Brothers Grimm - Durban Nights and DNA - Purple Wreck. So far, so good... seem to be happy tent mates. Are you doing any training with yours?
@DeepCarrot, nice! I haven't heard of those strains but I can figure out one of the parents each. I topped them last week and will start to tie them down later this week. I will lollipop the lower growth next week prolly when I tie them down.
