Zamnesia Seeds - Biscotti: Eat Your Biscotti and Smoke It Too
Spice up your garden and add Biscotti to your cannabis lineup. It offers the complete package: smashing potency, good harvests, and moreish flavours. Biscotti is made up of South Florida OG and Gelato genetics and contains 22–25% THC—plenty to get your body buzzing from head to toe. The genetic profile of the plant is 80% indica and 20% sativa, with effects that make you feel relaxed but creative at the same time. Biscotti plants produce dark green foliage and plenty of pistils, and buds are small and dense. Toward the end of flowering, you may notice purple hues if nighttime temps are cool enough.
Growing Biscotti: Speedy Flowering
Biscotti won't test your patience; you can take out your shears and begin to harvest after about 8–9 weeks of flowering indoors. Plants are robust and vigorous, thriving both outdoors and indoors. Under the sun, you can expect plants to reach 130–170cm and produce up to a superb 800g/plant come October. Experienced growers have reported harvests even higher than that, so it's all in your hands. Indoors, Biscotti usually grows to a respectable 130–150cm and offers yields amounting to 550–650g/m².
Aromas, Flavours, and Effects of Biscotti: Delicious and Complex
When drying and curing are finally over, it's time to sample the fruits of your labour. And Biscotti is definitely one of our yummiest strains, producing aromas of vanilla and honey cookies, undercut by classic notes of diesel. A great addition in the kitchen, complementing baked goods beautifully. As Biscotti is quite potent, with a high that sneaks up on you, we recommend taking it slow so you don't get overwhelmed. This variety offers a relaxing body and mind buzz that gets the creative juices flowing.

i´m really excited to try this strain!!
Everything looking good except a small calmag deficiency in the beginning of the week due to the unbuffered coco, i added some extra calmag and things look good now
Toped them after 8 sidebranches
Repoted all to their final home
As medium i decided to be abit more sustainable:
50% earth (peat-free Terra Aquatica Organic soil light-mix)
30% coco (biproduct from cocomat production & fairtrade from sri lanka, 36h buffered in PH 6.1 calmag solution)
20% perlite
+-15g of mykorrhiza for each pot
The terraaquatica soil already contains coco but i have no clue in which %, i assume my soil is now like 50% coco, 30% earth, 20% perlite
On top of the soil i put a layer of diatomaceous earth(to prevent my archenemies the thrips to stop hatching)
and on top of that another thick(2-3cm) layer of pure perlite to hold moisture
It was alot of work, it's summer so it's ok but i'm afraid in winter i'll just buy some pre-mixed stuff
The last harvest is still drying so they're in the garden till they can move into the tent
Will inspect them for bugs before moving them indoors...i saw some bug laying eggs on them just after 20min of repoting 😬
Upgraded lights with a new Sanlight Evo 4-80 + got me some bluetooth dimmers to regulate wattage, currently running at 80%
Will increase to 100% as soon as plants grow bigger leaves
Increased nutes to EC 1.3
An early update as i'm departing to spain tomorrow
Did some LST to increase light absorbtion and expose all branches to direct light. Also removed all big leaves to strenghten lower side branches.
Plants look much darker now after increasing nutes
I was away all week and it seems they got a bit dry but not much harm taken
I'll give them another week of veg
Increased nutes
Defoiled here and there and aplied further LST
Lights are running at 75% now
Did some more LST and defoiled here and there to remove shades from branches, lolipopped - nothing beneath the top canopy has any sidebranch now - removed everything
Plants grew quite stocked due to high wattage(425w) but they are very strong with thick branches...All stems are thick like a clipper lighter and probably have evolved a good mass of roots..
now with start of flower and incoming stretch i'll even increase lights to 100%(500w) to max photosythese in this phase till a bunch of flowers evolve, then i'll steadily turn down to 65% (325w) within 3 weeks - till harvest
Experimenting with light duration: Set lights to 13h and stretch started as planned so why not always use this extra hour for more photosynthesis?
Probably also depends on strains, some may not start flowering as easy as these 4 here
Also added 1ml of extra PK at the beginning of the week as i heard Prof.Bugbee talking about an abundance of P while initiating flower being very supportive...didn't hurt so far...
Can't wait for more stretch and more flowers next week!
Flowers are coming and stretch is in full effect
Will defoil all lower leaves by the end of next week as RH is getting high again
Lights are still at 100% they thrive under the 500w so far, soon i'll reduce it tho, probably by week 4 of flower
Defoiled all bottom leaves(like 15% of total foliage) and reduced lights to 80% (400w)
Next defoil is scheduled in 2 weeks
(I only defoil to reduce transpiration for lower RH)

Flowers are coming nicely, some plants you can see grow fatter from morning to evening 😊
Moved the lights higher to avoid bleaching
Added some more PK
More defoil in 2 weeks
Defoiled some more to increase airflow, next week some last major defoiliation to prevent mold as RH is getting high due to bad weather
Fighting it with a dehumidifier
Set lights to 75% (375w)
Last week of extra PK, next week only bloom fert
looks like 2 different phenos...one is dark the other one quite bright...but both have similar looking buds
defoiled most bottom leaves to increase airflow
i drilled a hole in my housewall for an air exhaust + installed the dehumidifier to blow directly into the tent so now humidity is at a save range of 50-65%, hopefully no more mold problems now
just ordered a new growcontrol-pro with WiFi option and CO² adapter, can't wait to get my fingers on it 😍
the biscotti looks and smells awesome, could be that it will be the top yielder in this grow!
fighting the high temperature and high humidity due to bad weather over here, trying to keep RH under 60% but it's hard as temperature easily goes over 30°C with my current dehumidifier...
buds evolve greatly -> fat, sticky and dense
just 1 more week till planned harvest! can't wait!
only clean fruits from now on!
Last week...just few more days till harvest..
Buds are almost done, some are looking good already but some still need some days...will chop next friday and trim the weekend after that
Only water + cleanfruits the last 14 days...they had enough nutes all grow
Had to remove few buds because of mold...but not too much...seems like the 3 weeks of rainy weather was too much in the mid-flower...sadly the buds that were already fat back then had to be removed...
awesome strain, fat resinous buds with an awesome scent and great yield! both plants grew very evenly and almost looked the same, would grow again any time!
