May 8, 2023 Still germinating May 9, 2023 Still germinating Currently in the Germination System lights out. Heat mat on low Tiny Exhaust Fan on low Temp: 76.1° RH: 61% May 10, 2023 Both ladies germinated and are going strong. One popped surface last night with the other one getting ready to pop today. Lights out until the other one pops the surface. Temp is about 77° RH is around 73% Quick update: the other seedling popped late this morning. We officially have germinated 2 Zkittlez Autoflowers. And the journey begins! May 11, 2023 Both ladies have popped surface and look great! One is significantly taller than the other already. I don't really see any issues, but it's interesting how much height difference there is. Both are very healthy looking. The environment is a bit of an issue. I can't get the temp down to 75° with high humidity. Gotta work on that. The lights are really warm and with the heat mat, it's sitting between 79° and 82°. Too warm for my liking. Maybe it's not? But I also cannot get the humidity to stay above 60% now and I'd like it in the 70's. Germination Center Environment Temp: 77.3° RH: 56.8% VPD: 1.37 kPa May 12, 2023 These 2 are quite vigorous. Both shot up very quickly. Luckily, I have a 10" riser for my Germination Center. Temp: 79.8° RH: 86.3% VPD: 0.48 kPa May 13, 2023 Quick update for Zkittlez. They have hopefully slowed down on stretching and focus more on producing leaves. They're already about 3" tall. I also think I need to get better lights for the Germination System. These just don't seem bright enough. Germination System Environment: Temp: 80.2° RH: 78.8% VPD: 0.74 kPa May 14, 2023 Both ladies have already outgrown the shorter dome so I had to add the extension today. They are both looking great and strong. They have also stopped the stretch and are now working on leaf production. I have turned the heat pad back on to make up for the extra air space. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.7° RH: 69.2% VPD: 0.91 kPa May 15, 2023 Zkittlez One is taking off. She already started stretching her first node. Zkittlez Two is just behind. I expect her to pop right up with her sister in the next couple of days. I'll be checking their roots out today. If they are showing I will have waited too long. Chances are, I will be placing them in the grow tent in the next coue days or sooner. Germination System Environment Temp: 80.6° RH: 76.5% VPD: 0.83 kPa May 16, 2023 Today is the last day in the Germination System. Tomorrow will be the first day of vegetation and will be put in the grow tent along side a Do-Si-Dos Cookies. They will also be joined in about 13 days with a pair of Mimosa Autos from Royal Queen Seeds. They are both working hard on their first set of leaves. Zkittlez Two is a bit shorter and a tiny bit behind in growing. I'm not worried about it. I'm sure it will catch up in the veg stage. The environment is a bit of a struggle with heat. I cannot for the life of me get the temp below 80°. (I also can't get my grandpa to turn the effing heat off) The humidity is nearly on point. Everything else looks great! They get a misting 2 to 3 times a day. They also have a nice level of water on the bottom of the tray. Germination System Environment: Temp: 80.7° RH: 69.1% VPD: 1.11 kPa Update: I checked the roots on the ladies and they are completely outgrowing the root riot plugs. So instead of planting tomorrow, I immediately planted both of them in their final 5 gallon containers. They are in the tent and covered by Starbucks Domes (fancy). The RH is set low for a flowering plant in the tent, so domes will stay on for as long as possible. They will continue to get misted 2 to 3 times a day for the next week or so. This starts the lives of these Zkittlez Autoflowers.

May 17, 2023 Day 8 Week 1 of the Vegetation Stage. Let the growing commence. Zkittlez One: Height: 4" DLI: 19.5 Zkittlez Two: Height: 3" DLI: 19.5 Zkittlez One is looking great now! She fell over during transplant, but I put in a little wooden skewer to help hold her up. Worked wonders. She is standing straight up and growing her first set of real leaves. She's also taller than her sister. She seems to be setting up to be a tall plant. Really happy and healthy. Zkittlez Two is a little unhappy. She seems to have been a bit over watered. I'm going to leave her alone. There isn't too much moisture in the soil yet. Just around the seedling. It was probably too much misting yesterday. However, she seems to be the slower or the 2. She's a little younger so a bit smaller. However, she doesn't seem to be as vigorous as her sister. We'll see how she goes. Lower Grow System Environment: Temp: 75° RH: 70% (estimate) I don't have a read under the domes for humidity, but temp is pretty good. May 18, 2023 Today, misting these ladies and spraying around the rim to prep for more growth. The temp dropped a bit from a cold front coming in. No big deal. The domes help, plus I need a lower temp for a Do-Si-Dos Cookies that's finishing just up. Zkittlez One looks excellent! She's loving her life and getting stronger everyday. Zkittlez Two is definitely a bit over watered. However, she bounced back pretty well yesterday. So today should be about the same. The rest of this week will shape how I proceed with training and or defoliation. The plan is to grow a couple of 24" plants trained with many tops. As these are sativa's, I believe I will have an easy time shaping them how I want. Lower Grow System Environment: Temp: 73° RH: 65% (estimate) May 19, 2023 Zkittlez One This one is definitely the stronger of the 2 plants. She's already touching the sides of the Starbucks dome. Not too sure what to do there. She's not ready for the tent environment. But she's definitely taking off. Zkittlez Two Looks pretty good. Still a tiny bit droopy, but I think it's just normal and I'm being neurotic. Leaves are growing. Second node is coming in nicely. She's moving a bit slowly for my liking, but you never know. Not much misting them anymore. Just misting the domes now. Lower Grow System Environment: Temp: 76° RH: 65% (Estimate) May 20, 2023 Zkittlez One Still the stronger of the 2. Standing straight up and happy as ever. Zkittlez Two Get a watering today and she perked up again. Definitely may have been too humid or underwater, but either way. Looking great! I had to pull the Starbucks Domes off because they weren't big enough. So I'm misting them both more often to make up for the lack of humidity. Grow System Environment: Temp: 76.8° RH: 47.2% VPD: 1.63 kPa May 21, 2023 So these ladies are doing much better now that the domes are off. I have to mist them more often to keep them in a "humid" environment, but they are certainly more perky today. They are much stronger than yesterday. They're going to take off any day now. I haven't found a need to water yet. However, I may start the bottom feed system later today. One gallon of plain water. Nutrients will start next week. I'll probably do another top watering tomorrow to start leveling the moisture level in pots. Considering they are 5.4 gallon containers, it will take much more time than the 3 gallons I've been using. Zkittlez One Still the larger of the 2. Very healthy and I expect will be taking off any day now. Zkittlez Two Finally is very happy. Perked up last night and looks like she will be taking off really soon. Lower Grow System Environment: Temp: 72° RH: 60% (estimate) May 22, 2023 Both plants look about the same as yesterday, just slightly bigger. They did need a bit of water. I'm trying to slowly load up the moisture level throughout the 5 gallon container as to not drown them. I think I'll start the bottom feed system tomorrow. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74° RH: 55% (estimate) May 23, 2023 The Zkittlez are looking great! A few spritzes of water today. As well as an early morning top watering. Just to continue letting the moisture seep down. I'll continue this daily until they are big enough for a full top feed. Very healthy plants. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 50.1% VPD: 1.41 kPa

May 24, 2023 Day 15 Both plants are doing fantastic. I was hoping for them to be a bit bigger by now, but I think this is the real first week of veg. Zkittlez One is the bigger of the two. However, it seems that the Zkittlez Two is just a bit behind. She may end up being a smaller plant, but identical in looks, or just a slightly slower grower. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75° RH: 65% May 25, 2023 Just realized that these ladies are already in week 2 of veg, so I started the Advanced Nutrient schedule. Both ladies look great and very happy. They got a reservoir refill and about 1/4 gallon of nutrients. I expect to see both ladies take off after they get this stuff in their system. Soil moisture should have also increased. Grow System Environment: Temp: 70° RH: 60% May 26, 2023 These ladies are picking up the pace now. Zkittlez One is definitely enjoying her life. Zkittlez Two is also enjoying life, but is just a little bit smaller. Both have taken to the watering and nutrients so far. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72° RH: 60% May 27, 2023 These ladies are both super happy. Today I harvested the last plant of a previous run. So they have the tent all to themselves until I pop a couple Mimosa Autoflowers from Royal Queen Seeds. It's a 70 day strain, so I'll be planting those in a few days. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73° RH: 50% May 28, 2023 DLI: 20.1 Light Distance: 33" Power Level: 50% Both ladies are starting to pick up the pace with growth. Beautiful lush color and strong stems. Zkittlez Two is still a bit smaller, but they both seems to be growing at the same rate. They will be watered again today with 500 ml up top. Bottom Feed system is working quite well so far. I had to put a humidifier in the tent today for them. It won't be long before it needs to come out. There are 2 more plants coming in next week. So hopefully the humidity will level out by then. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 48.4% (working on it) VPD: 1.45 kPa May 29, 2023 These ladies are really starting to take off. They are well watered and happy as ever. The environment adjusted yesterday with the addition of a humidifier. The temp is a bit low, but perfectly fine. It was a little cold this morning, so the temp was around 72° Zkittlez One is starting to show her structure. She looks like she will be tall with minimal lateral branching if I leave her alone. I plan to LST and Defoliate for this grow, so she should branch out much more and stay at a manageable height. Currently she is 6.5" tall. Zkittlez Two looks great as well, she's starting to be left behind by Zkittlez One. Currently 4.5" tall. With 4 plants in there, each one will have about 1.5 sq/ft. of space to grow out. The tent is 6 ft. tall. The containers and bottom feed system are 15" tall. The grow light is 44" to soil. Max Plant Height at 12: 32" Ideal Plant Height at 18: 26" Acceptable Plant Height at 24: 20" Light Power: 60% DLI: 21 Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.1° RH: 57.6% VPD: 1.12 kPa May 30, 2023 The environment in the tent is nearly perfect. Temp is on point and humidity is right there. Both ladies got a reservoir refill with nutes and a very diluted top feed. Just under a half gallon each. The center of the soil still seems a bit too dry. So hopefully this watering will do the trick. The plants are still pretty small and I really don't want to over water them, although, they seem to be loving it. I also lowered the grow light to 27" from the canopy. Happily, I didn't need to change the intensity. The DLI is at a perfect 30 for this age based on a chart I use from photone. I also think I'll be able to control the environment with a lower light. I'm going to do my best to keep the light around 27" and increase the intensity as needed. Zkittlez One is definitely taking off. She grew over an inch last night. Color is wonderful. She's slightly praying and I'm very happy with that. She's also starting to show more branches. However it seems she will be fairly narrow, but most likely tall. 7" as of today. Zkittlez Two is looking great. She did end up with a tiny bit of tip burn from the transplant, but I'm guessing it was just the initial shock of the hot soil. However, she looks fine now and is loving life. Her leaves are praying perfectly. 5" tall as of today. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.1° RH: 60% VPD: 1.09

May 31, 2023 Day 22 Zkittlez One is 8" DLI: 31 Zkittlez Two is 5.5" DLI: 28 Zkittlez One is taking off now and leaving Zkittlez Two behind in the dust. Zkittlez Two is pondering life I guess and forgot that growing faster is a thing. Lol. Both look great and have roughly the exact same grow speed. Same shape, same leaves and just all around nearly identical plants. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74° RH: 60.9% VPD: 1.10 kPa June 1, 2023 Both ladies have slowed down a bit in vertical growth, but seems to be building leaves. Not much else to report. Both ladies are extremely happy and comfy in their environment. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.8° RH: 59% VPD: 1.15 kPa June 2, 2023 Zkittlez One may end up being trained to get more branching. Not that the branching is bad, it's actually doing quite well, but she looks like she may be too slender and maybe end up too tall. We shall see in the coming days. I'm also concerned about the main stem. It's really skinny like a previous grow that didn't end up getting big at all with no branching. Zkittlez Two is starting to make some major movement. She is starting to branch out and looks happy to be doing so. Great color, beautiful leaves. Wonderful structure. As like her sister, she has a pretty slender main stem. Hopefully it doesn't hurt my grow. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.7° RH: 60.2 % VPD: 1.14 kPa June 3, 2023 Both ladies are looking great! They could start training whenever now. I'm not sure I want to train them however. They are both really thin and the main stalks is super skinny. I will definitely defoliate though. Maybe I'll train if they get out of control, but I'd rather see how they come out naturally... For the most part. The branching looks nice on both ladies. They are showing their sex already. So maybe a week left before pre-flower. Time is moving nice and fast now. They've also been joined by a couple Watermelon Autos from Royal Queen Seeds with a grow cycle 20 days shorter. They should all be harvested at the same time. Neither of them grew too much vertically last night, but the branches are starting to grow nicely. They won't be needing water for a while. At least not for a couple more days. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.3° RH: 61.9% VPD: 1.09 kPa Update: I decided to put a tie down on the top of Zkittlez One. She is tall enough and she has been anchored as well. Just one small bend. I'm leaving Zkittlez Two alone as she is still short and I need vertical growth from her. June 4, 2023 Both plants are definitely showing their sex now. I expect pre-flower to start on the next few days. Zkittlez Two is especially showing her sex. Large white hairs along the nodes. Zkittlez One isn't so prominent yet. But she is certainly making up for it in growth. Hopefully Zkittlez Two picks up the pace. Zkittlez One took perfectly to her one bend. I can't wait to see what I can do with her. Very exciting. She will need a reservoir refill tomorrow think. Zkittlez Two looks great! Still too short for training, but beautiful structure and lush leaves. The color is perfect. Just a wonderful plant so far. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.8° RH: 59.4% VPD: 1.10 kPa June 5, 2023 Not much to do today. Zkittlez One is taking swimmingly to her training. I lightly adjusted the tie down a little bit for the top again, but I'm going to wait a bit longer to really get to training. She isn't really there for a level canopy. Zkittlez Two looks pretty good. She is 8.5" tall now with some nice branch growth and leaf production. She looks like a nice little plant. I can't wait to see what kind of stretch she has in her. I hope I have to train her down some if she shoots up. Water for both ladies is perfect. The top soil has a nice crust on it and the bottom feed system is working like a dream. Technically, I shouldn't have to even think about top feeding now. We will see when we are deep into flower. Quick update. I decided to get ahead and take off the bottom node off each plant. I'm not messing around with larf this time around. I figure well before pre-flower should be fine. I also think it's better? That way they can heal in time for the stretch. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.0° RH: 56.8% VPD: 1.27 kPa June 6, 2023 Zkittlez One looks great and is taking to her training like a dream. She isn't too leafy yet, so I think I managed to start training at the perfect time. This lady is growing at an exceptional pace. She got the top pulled down again and all the lower branches are starting to level out. Water looks fine. Zkittlez Two has started vigorous growth. She grew about 1.5" overnight. Looking good on water still and may start getting trained as well maybe next week, depending how big she gets. Although, I may just leave her alone and let her grow naturally with defoliation if needed. Well, that's it for this week. Everything looks great! See you next week. June 7, 2023 Day 29 This week should be the week stretching really starts to take off. Zkittlez Two seems to be maturing a little faster than Zkittlez One. It also has matched up in height with a trained Zkittlez One. Zkittlez One: Height: 10" DLI: 39 Zkittlez Two: Height: 11" DLI: 41.5 Grow System Environment: Temp: 75° RH: 58.5% VPD: 1.21 kPa June 8, 2023 Zkittlez One got a reservoir refill today. Zkittlez Two doesn't seem to need water at all. She is still very moist. Maybe she's taking in less water. Zkittlez One Training on this lady is going quite well. I have the canopy level and will need to keep adjusting every couple of days. Zkittlez Two No training on her. I want to see what a natural grow looks like. She doesn't seem to be as vigorous as I was thinking. But still good growth speed. Just over 12" now and has exceeded the height of her sister plant. Now to get them both level in height. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.6° RH: 55.6% VPD: 1.28 kPa June 9, 2023 I broke an effing branch! These stupid clips suck. Anyway, Zkittlez One is now missing a branch. I really hope it doesn't cause too much of an issue. It might help bring up the lower branches, but still. Booooo. I also tied down a branch that was starting to get too long. She's also just starting pre-flower. Zkittlez Two is looking great! She has a good Christmas tree structure. Depending on how she grows, I might end up tying some branches down, but so far everything looks good. She got a reservoir refill. And I think it's safe to say she is in full flower. Right on time. Both ladies got top feedings today. Just a quarter gallon, but it's just to keep the upper soil moist. The actual watering comes from the bottom feed system. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.3° RH: 56.4% VPD: 1.24 kPa June 10, 2023 Zkittlez One is no longer going to be touched. I snapped the top, but only halfway. So no more training unless it's very careful defoliation. She's super healthy, but so very fragile. The most fragile plant I've ever grown. So now we have a plant with a broken branch and a half broken top with 2 more nodes attached to it. Happily, the branch break healed up in no time. Zkittlez Two is doing great! She is a mini version of a christmas tree. The only thing I'm concerned about is her branching. She has branches, but they are small and not growing as rapidly as I would expect. I was hoping by this time I'd have to tie a branch or 2 down, but nope. They are too small to tie down. I'll have to see what happens over the rest of this week. Maybe she will start branching more in the coming days. Other than that, she is super healthy and happy. She looks maybe a little dwarfish, but this strain stretch's a whole lot during the flowering stretch. I feel like that is what I've been seeing through my research. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.7° RH: 60.6% VPD: 1.15 kPa June 11, 2023 Zkittlez One grew an inch or so last night. She is also in pre-flower. Perfect timing. She may have been a bit delayed due to the broken branch and injured top. But she's definitely recovered and starting to stretch now. I'm expecting an average 1.5" per day for the next week or so. Zkittlez Two is growing at an exceptional rate. Averaging about 1.5" per day, I'd expect to see near double in size by the end of this week. If she stretches like that over next week, I'll end up with a manageable 3 ft. plant. UPDATE: I decided the side branches on Zkittlez One were much more pliable that the top. So the 4 main branches were pulled horizontally to open up the inside bud sites. There aren't many leaves on her as it is, so I might not even need defoliation. Looking good though with the training. UPDATE 2: I snipped one single leaf off of Zkittlez One. Just one big one that was covering an entire branch. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75° RH: 59.8% VPD: 1.18 kPa June 12, 2023 Zkittlez One finally got her top pulled down again. I know I said no more, but I can't just leave her like that. So I pulled branches down and the top and have most of it level. With the top pulled down, that should spur the lower branches to spike up. Zkittlez Two is just growing tall. However she really does have a small stature. Great structure, but just small. I'm hoping she gets a bit bigger and thicker in the next week. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.8° RH: 57.7% VPD: 1.27 kPa June 13, 2023 Zkittlez One Today was a great day for training. She's growing at a decent rate now and her branches and the top is much more mailable. That being said, she got the top turned down and some of the most upper nodes also got pulled down. The canopy is nearly level now, so I'm very happy with this turn for the better. I also removed the main stem fan leaves. They were taking up space for bud sites, and maybe it will help with the humidity levels. Anyway, training and defoliation was a success today. I was going to wait for tomorrow, but it was the perfect time for it. Zkittlez Two She looks great! Her buds are coming out quite nicely. Water intake seems to be a bit slow at the moment. As I said before, I'm concerned with her size. I'm assuming the branches will thicken up and get a bit more broad to fill things out. Currently, every bud site is open. But that is only due to the lack of foliage. Kind of confused. My theory is when she was planted. She started out small in the first place, but when I planted her in the final pot, her roots were all over the place. She may have had root shock or transplant shock or whatever it's called and she didn't fully recover. Just a theory though. Reservoirs will be refilled tomorrow for the start of the new week. I'll be doing a top watering on each I think. Just a quarter gallon it should be good for the rest of the week. The bottom feed system is definitely working. I may not need to top feed at all. We shall see. Grow System Environment: Temp: 76.9° RH: 59.2% VPD: 1.27 kPa

Jun 14, 2023 Day 36 Zkittlez One: Height: 12" DLI: 45 Zkittlez Two: Height: 21.5" DLI: 55 Zkittlez One is at the end of pre-flower and getting ready for the flowering stretch. She got a couple top branches pulled down to join the rest of the canopy. It should be good now for a nice level grow. She is super healthy and very happy. Not much upward growth though. I expect to see an increase with the flowering stretch. Her leaves are slightly praying, so that's great. She may need a small defoliation sometime this week. I'm trying to avoid cutting extra leaves, but I learned that excessive foliage makes for less yield. So she will get a proper defoliation this week. No overlapping leaves, no leaves blocking bud sites anywhere. An open canopy is best in my opinion. Leaving space between branches for the light to get deeper into the canopy makes more sense than loading just the top of the canopy with leaves and buds. It just leads to popcorn buds. Zkittlez Two is getting taller. At 21.5", she's definitely getting close to the end of her stretch. Bud production is beautiful. She is starting to get a light aroma. She really didn't branch much so there are very few bud sites. But tons of light for each one. Grow System Environment: Temp: 77° RH: 59.8% (rainy day) VPD: 1.26 kPa June 15, 2023 It's a humid day and I'm fighting it in the tent. RH: is high at 58% temp is holding at 80° which is also high. I'd prefer 75° and 50% all day. This may pose an issue if it keeps up. Zkittlez One is getting big. Her roots are super healthy and are poking through the fabric. Not in the sides of the pot yet, bit they are really healthy roots. She has some beautiful color and lush broad leaves. She's really showing her indica traits. The training is going perfectly now. A lot of new side branches coming up, she's growing at a fairly rapid pace now. It's only a matter of time for her to really take off and get some decent height. I wanna see stacks on stacks. Anyway, I took off the first node each on the lowest 2 branches. Took out 3 large overshadowing leaves and made some adjustments to the tie downs. Overall, her canopy is level and there are more auxiliary branches coming up. I may make one more adjustment later today, but we shall see. There are a few branches that could use a bit more attention, so I may bend down the outer most branches again but around the rim of the pot. Make sure to keep her from overtaking half of the tent. Zkittlez Two is super healthy and light hungry. She is really close to the light, but seems to be drinking it in like nothing. Her colors are fantastic, no signs of deficiency or stress or anything. She's just... Small. I removed the bottom 2 leaves and the lowest nodes on the lowest branches. They just weren't gonna make it. Plus that just redirects energy up to the upper part of the plant. Grow System Environment: Temp: 76.7° RH: 59.5% VPD: 1.25 kPa June 16, 2023 Zkittlez One looks like she may turn out to be a beast. She grew about 1.5" last night. At this pace, she may end up being a 20" to 25" plant. Her canopy is completely level and filled with tops. Each top has plenty of space to grow with the exception of the main top. That is a cluster of the top itself and 2 nodes. It's kind of a mess. I might clear out a few leaves from there to keep from getting overcrowded. Her leaves are super lush and broad. Zkittlez Two looks great as well. I have decided to just accept the fact that she is just a smaller plant. She's 23.5" tall now but has very little in any other growth. Hopefully the amount of light and energy she has will make really big buds. She gets the exact same treatment as Zkittlez One so maybe the flowering stage is where she will shine. Bud production looks good after all. I had her on 2 platforms to keep her taller than 2 other plants that are in early veg. So I removed one to keep the light where its at, but also take some of the light intensity off her top. She is reaching like crazy and I'm not sure why. She was 12" from the light with the same reach, but nothing changed after lowering her. Was she fine where she was? DLI was in the mid 60s. Much too high for an autoflower. But she seemed to have not minded? So it's been really humid and rainy for the past couple of days and it's 💯 f$&?ing up the environment. The problem is that I can't get the humidity down in my room. I'm running a dehumidifier in the tent and a really small one as well. The temp is a bit high because of it and the humidity is still out of control. What do? Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.6° RH: 60.9% (boooo) VPD: 1.18 kPa June 17, 2023 Zkittlez One... Ohhhhh man is she growing. Spiked up another 1.5" last night as well as getting wider. To the point where she's already hit her quadrant space. She's getting more and more tops as the auxiliary branches stretch and reach the canopy. In theory, I could train her out more, but I don't want to overdo it. I did however do a light defoliation. That opened the canopy up for so many more bud sites. I'm quite happy with her. Watering is perfect as always. Feeding is fine. I could go a bit more on the nutrients, but I don't want to overdo it as well. So I think it's just defoliation from now on. Zkittlez Two is finally starting to fill out. Her leaves are a beautiful deep green with a hint of blue. They are starting to grow more and get wider. I don't think she will need a defoliation. Maybe a leaf or two. She was very stick like and now she's starting to look like a good plant. She is now 24" tall and starting to stack. If things continue like this, I expect she will provide a decent harvest. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.6° RH: 59.3% VPD: 1.13 kPa June 18, 2023 Zkittlez One: She's getting big. I ended up tying down some of the taller branches and a couple small ones sticking up. She's showing more roots on the bottom of the pot. Her water intake just spiked up from 0.25 gallons a day to 0.5 gallons a day. I'm going to leave the training for another few days I think. Let this lady stretch some more. There are so many bud sites and most of them are in the direct sunlight. Almost all of them are at the very top of the canopy. There's a few stragglers just under the canopy, but she got a few leaves plucked that opened those lower branches to the light. The canopy looks absolutely amazing. It's open and airy. Leaves are 2 layers deep with a whole lot more growth coming along. Zkittlez Two: She is great! Leaves are still filling out and she seems to have stopped her main stretch and just has stacks making her taller. She hasn't really increased water intake much. Maybe 0.33 gallons a day. Not a bad thing, she's taking what she needs. Both ladies got a reservoir refill today. No top feeding anymore. Their roots are far enough down and the soil moisture retention goes all the way up to the trunk. Humidity is still an issue. I cannot, even with the tent open, get the humidity below 55% It's not terrible now, but in a couple weeks it will be a major concern. Personally, I'd like to see a max of 50% RH. Hopefully I can manage. Grow System Environment: Temp: 76.3° RH: 57.9% VPD: 1.27 kPa June 19, 2023 Zkittlez One: She looks great! Had a few leaves trimmed today. Just keeping up with the maintenance. I don't want her to get overcrowded or something. So she has a wonderful canopy. So many new auxiliary branches popping up. Lots and lots of bud sites. Zkittlez Two: She's looking wonderful. Leaves are still filling in. Stacks are looking great! It looks like the majority of this plant will end up being bud. The main top looks like it will consist of the top 4 nodes and whatever else she stacks on there. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.7° RH: 57.3% VPD: 1.27 kPa June 20, 2023 Zkittlez One: She is now a beast! This plant has stretched out to over 2 feet in diameter and starting to take over the tent. This is great. Anyway, she grew a little over an inch last night. Today I had to pull the top down. It was starting to overtake the rest of the tops. Keeping that canopy level. She has plenty of top bud sites. Auxiliary branches are still coming out of the foliage. She's just about finished with pre-flower and is starting to show bud formations. I also snipped a few leaves off to open up more bud sites and better air flow. Zkittlez Two: She is definitely starting to really stack her buds. The main cola is stacking like mad. Buds are growing all down the stalk. I expect the mains tem won't be visible in about a week. Her side branches also grew a decent amount last night. Leaves are still filling out and starting to close the gaps. I have the main fan leaves of the bottom 2 nodes pushing the branches out by bending the fan leaves in using the middle fingers to lock it to the lower part of the branch exposing the lower buds on the branch and pushing them outward. She has a beautiful deep green color. Very healthy and happy plant. Her roots are also starting to come out of the bottom of the container. So I can definitely expect some major bud growth. June 21, 2023 Day 43 Zkittlez One: Height: 17" DLI: 50 mol/m²/d (kinda high, but it works for the rest of the plants and it's not too bad) Zkittlez Two: Height: 26.5" DLI: 55 mol/m²/d I messed around with the light height and intensity. I'm focusing on Zkittlez One for the light height as she is the most productive of the 2 plants. Zkittlez Two is still taller by about 8". Her main branches are level with Zkittlez One. It's just the top that's too tall. I have noticed Zkittlez Two is getting a tiny bit of light burn. With the higher grow light, maybe it will adjust and stop burning. I'll be playing with the light intensity for the rest of the day. Figure out if I need it at 80% or 90%. Both ladies needed watering today. Perfect start to the new week. Nutrients have been upgraded and add nirvana and cal/mag. Zkittlez One took a top feeding of a half gallon and. The rest of the gallon went into the reservoir for a top up. I had to add extra wicking to the reservoir as well. She is super thirsty. I got a good look under the container. She has a veritable root mass under there. Such a strong and voracious plant. She's definitely taking in about a half gallon a day. She almost dried up before her watering today. As I said, perfect timing. Growth is phenomenal. Lots of tops and even more of the lower auxiliary branches are popping up. She's just about done with pre-flower now. I think she will be in full swing flower in a the next couple of days. I also expect to see a good amount more stretching. She is 17" tall now and 18" from the light. I'd like to see her at 22" and I may mess around and see if I can set that up even with younger plants in the tent. Zkittlez Two is a smaller plant, so she's not drying out anytime soon. Only about a quarter gallon a day. She has started showing roots on the bottom of the container as well. Just not as much as her sister plant. I'm not concerned though. She has plenty of room to spread her roots throughout the rest of the grow. Still looking great. Tons of bud sites.she is also starting to smell. Not too strong, but strong enough for me to notice. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.9° RH: 56.1% VPD: 1.31 kPa June 22, 2023 Zkittlez One is thirsty. She cleared out the top off from yesterday. So she got a full gallon reservoir fill up. She stretched about an inch last night, but what makes up for it not being more stretchy, she has even more tops and more coming in again. She just finished up her pre-flower stage and is officially starting the flowering stage. So now there is a nice 6 to 7 week flowering period with all these tops. Zkittlez Two looks great! As predicted, the whole plant will end up being a bunch of bud and tops. The main cola will especially be massive. She isn't as thirsty as her sister plant. But still doing fantastic. Still no need for defoliation. Update: I had to bend 1 branch down on Zkittlez One. It was starting to get a bit ahead of the rest of the plant. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.7° RH: 57.2% VPD: 1.27 kPa June 23, 2023 Zkittlez One: This lady is ridiculous. She is huge and at 19" now. A few budlets are starting to form, but for the most part the plant is still in pre-flower. I really hope she ends up being 24" or so. The bottom feed system adjusted back to it's regular uptake. Everything is looking good. I clipped some more fan leaves off today. Just ones that were overlapping and causing condensation. Some were getting squished against the walls, so I plan on taking those off over the next few days. Overall, this plant is what I have been looking for. This is the most tops and tallest ones I have ever grown. My highest yield so far is 3.1 oz. I really hope I'm right, and this one will yield a good amount more. Zkittlez Two: She looks awesome! Great lush color, strong plant. Sturdy branches and main stem. The main top is showing how much bud will cover it. From what I can see, the near entire main stalk will be the cola. Side branches are also looking like they will be loaded up as well. So today it's muggy and warm. That turned my room into a 75° swamp. And now with the grow tent the door open, it went from 67% down to 58% but my report shows 59.5% so it's still really high. All fans are working at full speed. Exhaust is at full speed. I have a dehumidifier running as well. It brought the room down 2%. I don't mind the heat. I do however, mind the humidity. I'd rather not get mold or anything. I don't think I will, but you never know. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.4° RH: 59.5% VPD: 1.15 kPa June 24, 2023 Both ladies got a full reservoir refill today. Zkittlez One is taking just a bit more than a gallon in 2 days. Zkittlez Two is working on 3 days per gallon. Although, she may start getting thirsty as she is starting build more and more bud. Zkittlez One had a couple leaves snipped. Just clearing out the excess. Overall, she is my finest plant so far. She's still growing perfectly. Lots and lots and lots of tops. The stretch is beautiful. I can't wait to see what next week brings. Zkittlez Two looks great as well. A whole lot of bud all over the plant. As I suspected, she will be all bud with some leaves sticking out. Couldn't be happier. She's still stacking, so I may see a bit more height out of her. The environment is all out of sorts. very humid day. I can't get the humidity below 56% with the tent door wide open. It's ridiculous. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.8° RH: 59.6% VPD: 1.16 kPa June 25, 2023 Zkittlez One had a couple small super low branches that were pruned. As well as some overlapping leaves again. She looks great! Wonderful color and absolutely gorgeous tops. She grew another inch last night. All I want is 3 more inches. She will also need another reservoir refill maybe tonight. Thirsty girl. Zkittlez Two also looks fantastic. Stacks are getting bigger. Leaves are filling out more and more. She's definitely not drinking all that much compared to her sister plant. The environment is still all out of whack. High humidity. The temp is fine and has been. It's just the humidity. I don't know what to do about it. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.7° RH: 60.2% VPD: 1.14 kPa June 26, 2023 Zkittlez One is a beast! She grew another inch last night. Almost there! 2 more inches to go and I'm happy. I took off a couple more leaves. The ones that were covering lower auxiliary branches. Hopefully that helps them reach the top with the rest of the colas. She won't need another watering until tomorrow I think. She's definitely at the very end of pre-flower. I'm getting bud production in some parts and the rest is starting to catch up. I noticed a decent amount of 3 fingered leaves. From what I understand, it's a sign or revegetation. I have zero idea how that would happen, but it does explain the extra few days it took to get to flower. I wonder what caused it. Zkittlez Two looks great! She's filling those buds out and starting to take over the main top. This main cola is going to be huge. No watering needed yet. Leaves are still filling in as well. I may have to tuck a few here and there. I don't want to cut anything on her. Completely natural growth. Well natural with nutrients. Her leaves have this wonderfully deep green. Very healthy. I had to raise the grow light up an inch for Zkittlez One. I'm trying to keep it at 22" above the canopy. It seems to have the best spread with the best intensity for this Grow System. But that 1" improved the coverage and brought the DLI up 2 mol/m²/d around the outer edges. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.9° RH: 62.5% VPD: 1.09 kPa June 27, 2023 Both ladies got a full reservoir today. I honestly cannot remember when I filled. It could have been 2 days ago or 3. I think 2. Anyway, both got watered and we're not dried out, so that's good. Zkittlez One She looks absolutely amazing! She grew another inch last night. She's just a super awesome plant! 1 more inch and I'm super happy. Maybe she will grow a couple more inches. We shall see. She's definitely in full flower mode now. If I'm right, she should get a couple to few more days of stretch. Then the stacking. As long as she keeps up this grow pace, she will be even more massive. Very excited. Zkittlez Two is doing great! Her main cola is almost filled in. She's going to be a hefty girl for her size. Maybe 2 oz. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.1° RH: 61.3% VPD: 1.06 kPa

Should I thin this out? The canopy is about 8" deep, so 4 layers of foliage. It looks like it's still a bit much. Should I wait for the stretch to finish up and then defoliate properly? Am I being overly analytical Just need to double check with the professionals. Thanks!

A leaf here and there won't hurt her. I would defoliate every 3 or 4 days or just do it all in one go after the stretch. It looks healthy so will be able to tolerate a bit of stress.

June 28, 2023 Day 50 Zkittlez One: Height: 24.5" DLI: 52 mol/m²/d Light Height: 22" Zkittlez Two: Height: 28.5" DLI: 55 mol/m²/d Light Height: 18" This week will focus on Zkittlez One and getting her thinned out properly. I hope to have that finished by the end of the week. I've also raised the light again to keep the distance at 22" above the canopy. It's also helping Zkittlez Two. As she is a 28.5" plant, she was definitely a bit too close to the light. The other plants in the tent may not have enough light from the higher light height. I'm not sure for good or bad. Zkittlez One has hit the 24" plus mark! She looks fantastic. I definitely need to thin out the foliage a bit. I'll wait for her to finish up. But I'll just pull a few here and there as needed. However, I don't expect much more stretch out of her. Maybe a couple more days? We shall see. Water looks great. The stacks coming off this lady are, IMO, fantastic. The whole canopy is covered in tops and shoots still reaching. Honestly, if she was alone in the tent, I'm pretty sure I could have trained her wall to wall. Alas, I have 3 other plants in there who also need light space. Lol. Zkittlez Two is also looking great! She's filling out a bit still and building up those buds. I have a bit of confusion with her top. The buds are very skinny at the top and get fatter in the mid range of the plant. Around where the side branches grew to. Happily, they match the height of Zkittlez One. Or just a bit lower. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.6° RH: 62.3% (still super humid here) VPD: 1.07 kPa June 29, 2023 Zkittlez One This plant has been a beast the whole time. Now she is getting too big for the tent and way too big to accommodate 4 plants as I have in there now. The canopy is super deep and needs a good thinning out. Speaking of thinning out, I decided to remove the outer leaves to open more space for the other plants. I'll be doing this over the course of the next couple days. She also got a full reservoir refill today. Cleaned up the reservoir as well. Zkittlez Two This lady needs absolutely nothing. Just hanging out and showing me what I should be expecting for bud production out of Zkittlez One. Honestly, I think I need a bigger tent already. I've had this 3x3 for 3 grows and I'm discovering the disadvantage of a smaller tent. Plus the thing people seem to think is best is compact plant. I don't need mine compact. I can grow in my state without issues. The humidity is still super high. So far I haven't found a solution. I have 2 dehumidifiers in there. That didn't work at all. It's the main room the tent is in. It's super humid in there due to the weather. Tent door has been open for days. I'll ask what to do. Maybe someone has an idea. Update: So I was looking over Zkittlez One this afternoon and realized taking the tie downs out made the plant compact, but a bit too compact. So after some testing I figured out that I needed to tie down the lowest 4 branches to open up the center of the canopy. It worked WONDERS! The 4 branches along with all of the tops from each one spread out perfectly, completely opening up the whole canopy. She is seriously huge now. See pic. Just WOW I've also added a video to show her mass. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.6° RH: 62.1% VPD: 1.08 kPa June 30, 2023 Zkittlez One is the boss of this grow. She'll need another watering tomorrow morning. I snipped off some outside leaves today. And a couple blocking bud sites and more tops. A quarter turn made a bit more room for the other plants in the tent. Well, except Zkittlez Two. She is in the way back almost engulfed by Zkittlez One. Zkittlez Two has some awesome bud production going on. She may need a watering soon as well. Anyway, the whole plant is covered as I thought it would be. The buds haven't even started to swell yet. It's just going to be that much bigger. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.9° RH: 64.4% VPD: 1.01 kPa July 1, 2023 Zkittlez One looks absolutely amazing. Massive and still growing. She's nearly 30" wide. 24" deep. She is also 25.5" tall. I don't know if this is big for an autoflower, but I assume it is. It's the biggest I've ever grown. She doesn't need water yet, but at her rate, she may need another gallon tomorrow. I snipped off just a couple more leaves today, just opening air flow and bud sites. Zkittlez Two looks great as ever. I decided to finally pull some fan leaves. Just the main stem ones and a couple that was completely covering another branch or facing inward. She'll need a new reservoir tomorrow. My major concern is how much she is squished in the back. With the 4 plants in there and that one massive Zkittlez, the 2 vegging plants need all the light they can get, which puts this lady in the corner. I was honestly considering moving her to my dry Tent and popping the light back in there. Something else I noticed is the bud structure. They seem quite wispy maybe it's just how they form for now. But they are also really skinny. Especially the main cola. I'll have to keep an eye on that and see what I can do about it, if anything. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.5° RH: 63.3% VPD: 1.06 kPa July 2, 2023 Zkittlez One is now officially in the flowering stage. I'd say 2 days ago, but now the buds are really forming. The top of the canopy reads out at an impressive 26.5" tall. 29" in diameter. More bud sites and tops that I'm willing to count. Just a lot. She's going to need more water first thing tomorrow. Maybe later this afternoon. She's super thirsty and that's a great thing. I've also managed to thin the whole plant out. Not a full defoliation, but a few leaves here and there for about a week. Now she looks near perfect. Zkittlez Two looks great! Still buried in the back and the buds are still pretty wispy. At least the ones up top. Lower bud production is fantastic! Big fat buds. I might have to drop the intensity very soon to save the main cola. She's definitely not as thirsty as Zkittlez One and I am still a bit concerned about that. She did however finish stretching at 29" tall. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.5° RH: 62.2% VPD: 1.05 kPa July 3, 2023 I dropped the light intensity down from 90% to 80% last night. Zkittlez One was drooping about 4 hours before lights out. I read somewhere that too much light can cause that. So we shall see how it looks tonight. Zkittlez One needs more trimming I think. She looks great, but she has an 18" deep canopy and I'd rather give light to the whole thing. The top 5" are fine, but below that is a thick floor of foliage. I trimmed some of it away today, it I'm gonna need to continue for a bit. At least some for next 2 weeks. Every other day. Healthy is an understatement with this plant. She is really tall with the whole setup with bottom reservoir. 40" from floor to top. Impressive. Zkittlez Two is so stuffed in the wall, I feel bad. I might have to take her out and put her in my dry tent with a 100 watt light. That is still up for debate. It's an extra 100 watts of power I'd be using. However, the extra space will certainly give the whole plant more light coverage and produce better buds I think. I'm going to try and maneuver them in the current tent and see what I can do. Update: So Zkittlez Two was really squished in the corner. So I removed one of the smaller plants and moved Zkittlez Two diagonally to Zkittlez One. I also got to pull the 4 main side branches out for better light penetration. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 62.7% VPD: 1.07 kPa July 4, 2023 Zkittlez One is still growing a bit I think. The grow light is only 18.5" above the canopy now. Where it should be at 22" I'll have to see what I can do. Doing great on water and healthy as ever. I did start a bit of pruning. The popcorn buds on the bottom of the canopy. I'm not cutting the longer branches though. I feel like that might cause more stress. But I'm going to pull off popcorn buds for the rest of next week and of course remove fan leaves as needed. Every leaf is super healthy, just in the way of air flow and light. Zkittlez Two is much better in the front of the tent diagonal from her sister plant. Much more space. And with the side branches pulled out, I expect to see much better bud development. She's still a slow drinker, but I'm starting to think it's the humidity that's preventing her from drinking more. This is an entire week or more of humidity and lack of the right equipment. So I'm really hoping I don't end up with bud rot or mold. I don't think I'll get mold because of the air circulation. But bud rot later on is very possible. Maybe not probable though. I don't know. I don't have much experience with it, so yah. Either way, the grow tent door will be kept open to keep the humidity at a kind of reasonable level. My humidity is uncontrollably high at 64%. The plants in there are a mix of flowering, pre-flower and veg. Can I safely close the tent door and just let it all do the thing? I have 2 6" fans one is oscillating and a 4" exhaust fan all at full blast. Will that be safe?

Ppl in the likes of the US that are in flo and so on. Their RH is 70 average all yr round. And, they produce some of the most sought after weed ppl pay silly amounts of money for, "cali". Good practices. Don't getting your buds wet. Great ventilation and so on, and air exchange will promote similar conditions to outdoors. I'll admit when I 1st started growing. My weed was crap. Invested 300e in a 20L meaco A energy rated dehumidifier (mutplie which awards). And I can truly say. All it did was raise my lecky bill by 150e

July 5, 2023 Day 57 I dropped the light intensity down to 60% today to keep the DLI in a reasonable range. I could drop it more, but I don't think I need to. Zkittlez One: Height: 27.5" DLI: 52 mol/m²/d Light Distance: 20" Zkittlez Two: Height: 29.5" DLI: 45 mol/m²/d Light Distance: 18" This week will focus on defoliation and cleaning up Zkittlez One. She has tons of foliage, but I think I can clean it up over this week. Zkittlez One is absolutely amazing! I looked at her root system under the pot today. The bottom is all white with roots. This is by far the best plant I have grown so far. She'll be getting a watering later on today. I had to fix the wicking system. When I lifted the plant off the base, the whole wick system came with the plant from the roots. So now that's all fixed. Maybe she will drink a gallon a day. That would be great. Zkittlez Two looks great as well. She is completely covered in bud. Once she stops stacking and swells up, I believe I won't see much of the branches and main stem. She's drinking a little bit more around 0.33 gallon a day. Now it's time to just let her ride out the rest of the grow. She's healthy and just needs to be left alone to grow. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.3° RH: 60.2% VPD: 1.13 kPa July 6, 2023 Zkittlez One: This lady is not done growing. She hit 29" last night from the 27.5" she was. It's just a few tops. Maybe 10? Anyway, she is still super thirsty. She has a out a third of her water left. She looks great! Trimmed a few leaves off today as well. And cut a couple popcorn buds. Everything else looks great. Zkittlez Two: She is really coming along. Her main top is just huge. Side branches will also be nice and heavy. I'm not expecting a super amount of yield from her, but maybe 2 oz. She will need a watering later on today. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.2° RH: 62.5% VPD: 1.03 kPa July 7, 2023 So Zkittlez One has not stopped growing. I'm starting to think she's somehow re-vegging. I'm not really complaining, but I'm starting to think it's the source of my 3 finger fan leaves. It may be the continued grow nutrients from the 3 part advanced nutrients base. Maybe I'll take out the grow nutes next watering. Or not. Maybe it's just a thing my plants do with the mix of Sohum soil and nutrients. She's almost 31" tall now. The tops are stacking as well. Tons of colas. An easy 30 maybe 40. Zkittlez Two is just doing her thing. Nothing new to report. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.4° RH: 58.4% VPD: 1.16 kPa July 8, 2023 Zkittlez One is still growing. She also got a top watering today. I decided to take the grow nutrients out. Hopefully it helps with bud production. She is definitely more beastly than before. She's at the point where she's too close to the light. I need to turn the intensity down a bit more. However, I do have another plant in the tent that needs more light. The stacks she has are absolutely gorgeous. Internodal spacing is perfect. The colas are going to be long and fat if this plant turns out like her sister plant. Zkittlez Two is doing quite well. More bud stacking. It's wonderful. That's all for her today. Nothing to do. Update: I decided to drop the light intensity down to 50% power. This is to make up for even more growth from Zkittlez One. She is 31.5" now. Not really taking off anymore, but still growing. She is officially taller than Zkittlez Two at 29" tall. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.6° RH: 60% VPD: 1.19 kPa July 9, 2023 Zkittlez One is super healthy. I snipped a couple leaves off today in the center of the canopy. Just to make more light and airflow. She's at a point where she needs top feedings now. Maybe 0.5 gal every 2 days? The light intensity at 50% is perfect. I may turn it back up to 60% once she stops growing. Just 0.5" last night. I also pulled 2 branches out a bit for more light and airflow. Pulling those 2 branches out made the plant a total of 3 ft wide and 2 ft deep. Her canopy is roughly 15" thick and absolutely filled with buds. The very tallest tops are a bit slower to flower as they grew the most. From what I can tell, these tops were the last to mature and therefore got the longest time to grow. The lower colas have grown a bit as well, but not as substantially as those top ones. I really hope the growing stops and the bud production on top picks up the pace. The lower colas already have really good stacks and great internodal spacing. Zkittlez Two is still there, doing her thing. Not much to report. Oh, her bottom feed watering is certainly still working perfectly. Grow System Environment: Temp: 79.4° RH: 58.9% VPD: 1.38 kPa (near perfect.) July 10, 2023 Zkittlez One is done growing I think... Maybe... Hopefully... Yah. Anyway, she is looking absolutely stunning. Watering is doing well. She will definitely need more top feeding throughout the rest of the grow. I'm thinking a half gallon every 2 days. She's definitely thirsty. Maybe 3/4 gallon a day now? That's coming out of a wicking system. Today will be a top feed of 3/4 gallon. I started clearing out the central foliage today. It's been opening up quite a bit of air flow. Most of the leaves I pulled snapped off nice and easy. I'll continue cleaning it up over the next few days. I really don't have a lot to do, but some final spaces that are a bit dense and buds below it. I am determined to get the absolute most out of every inch of this plant. The whole canopy top to bottom will be perfect. At least as perfect as I can make it. Zkittlez Two is as always doing great. She's stacking and swelling. Doesn't need water yet. She definitely does not drink as much as her sister plant. But still enough to refill every few days. Grow System Environment: Temp: 76.4° RH: 58% VPD: 1.28 kPa July 11, 2023 Zkittlez One is almost perfectly trimmed. I'd say another look tomorrow just to get any stragglers I may have missed. She may need another top feeding today. She's definitely super thirsty. Zkittlez Two had some of the lowest fan leaves cut. They weren't getting any light because of the size of Zkittlez One overshadowing. She's still stacking pretty well and bud production is fantastic. Getting big and fat. Grow System Environment: Temp: 76.1° RH: 57.8% VPD: 1.27 kPa

Light leaks is what i have always found to make it. A change in light intensity to fast can do it also.

July 12, 2023 Day 64 Zkittlez One: Height: 34" DLI: 46 mol/m²/d (Main canopy and not the very top cola) Zkittlez Two: Height: 31" DLI: 40 mol/m²/d This week is a heavy focus on flowering for both ladies. I will no longer be doing any defoliation nor training of any kind. They are getting Advanced Nutrients Overdrive starting this week for the next 2 to 3 weeks. Zkittlez One had her last couple of leaves plucked today. She got a half gallon top water. When the reservoir runs out, I'll clean it up and start the new week nutrients. She hopefully has a final height of 34" tall. Super close to the light now, but the majority of the plant is a decent distance. DLI is spot on so I'm definitely not worried. I just wish I had a bit more light distance. As for her structure, this plant has well over 30 tops. Her main colas are super deep and covered in sticky buds. I managed to clear out nealy all of the leaves I wanted to. I left some that I just felt didn't super matter either way. I may take the tie downs off at the end of this week. She seems to be finally done stretching and is now just stacking. I believe it's been almost 3 weeks? Maybe? 2 to 3 weeks. So they should be fine to come off. Zkittlez Two is looking great! I finally decided to remove some leaves that were directly covering bud sites. I also plucked a good few leaves from the main cola to open up much more light to the lower part of the main top. Some of the inner leaves on the branches were plucked as well. The only leaves I took were ones that popped off with ease. Some of the single finger leaves. Not sugar leaves. Just some odd fan leaves. She looks much more open and cleaned up. Another 3 weeks or so left before harvest. She still isn't taking as much water as her sister plant, but seems to be picking up the pace a bit. Her reservoir was topped off with the last bit of the gallon I filled the other day. She certainly does not need top watering at all. Her structure is that of a Christmas tree. She has 4 side branches covered with buds. The main cola is covered from top to bottom with buds. The main cola is kind of triangular. Interesting shape. Buds themselves are kind of wispy as I've read that sativa's are. However, they are supposed to swell up really big, so hopefully those wispy buds become big ole nugs. She is also fairly top heavy already. A great sign, considering she isn't even in the fattening stage yet. That should start in a week or 2. Update: there was a caterpillar on Zkittlez One! It has been removed, but where did it come from? Gray with a black head. I checked threat of the plant and tent for anything else, any bugs or anything. I haven't seen anything else. But sprayed a non toxic insecticide. Hopefully that's good to keep anything else out. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.9° RH: 58.6% VPD: 1.23 kPa July 13, 2023 Zkittlez One looks absolutely amazing. I pulled some of the branches out a bit. They were a bit too dense in the canopy. Now the canopy is big and airy. Plenty of light penetration. I had to top feed a whole gallon of nutrients. She's taking water in from the wick, but the system isn't fast enough to fully feed the plant. She also got a couple more leaves removed. Looking great and as always she's a beast! Zkittlez Two is still just doing her thing. She had 3 leaves removed opening up a few more lower bud sites to the light. Nothing else to do with her. She looks great and getting nice fat colas. Grow System Environment: Temp: 76.7° RH: 57.7% VPD: 1.30 kPa July 14, 2023 Zkittlez One is absolutely amazing! I ended up taking some of the side leaves off and some others in the center of the canopy to open a bunch of lower bud sites. The outer leaves were removed to make her a bit smaller. However, the removal was minimal and didn't do a whole lot. But that gives me a little more room for moving tie downs around so the air flow and light penetration stay deep. She's certainly very thirsty. But I think I got her back on track with the bottom feed system again. She will still absolutely need more top watering for the next couple weeks. Maybe every 3 days or so. I guess it all depends on what she wants. But she did end up taking in an entire gallon with no runoff. It seems to have been just enough to reach the bottom of the container and help reactivate the wicks. They are also completely engulfed in roots. To the point where I cannot lift her up without taking the wicks with her. It's kind of difficult to check that the wicks are still in place, though. A good problem to have in my book. Her dimensions are something to note. She is 34" tall, 31" wide and 24" deep. Her canopy is 21" down and filled with buds. There are about 30 tops total and each one is stacked like mad. The internodal spacing is about 1/2" long. From what I understand, that is the best distance to have. I hope that info is correct. I have noticed that her bud structure is slightly different than her sister plant. Zkittlez Two thin tall bud stacks where this lady has bulbous buds and seem much more dense. Zkittlez Two is still just doing her thing. She has some great tops and the main cola is really impressive for such a small plant. Although her tips are just one tiny little bud. It's pointy. She's great on water. The bottom feed system is still running strong with her. I hope it stays like this for the rest of the grow. Less work on her means more attention to her beastly sister. Still, she may pull out a couple ounces. Grow System Environment: Temp: 76.6° RH: 58.7% VPD: 1.25 kPa July 15, 2023 Zkittlez One is perfect now. Just a leaf or 2 I may remove at some point if they really start to block anything. I'm waiting for the leaves to fill out a bit more. She got a complete watering today. A full reservoir and a full gallon top feed. Buds are swelling up quite nicely. Lots of stacks everywhere. Just an overall perfect plant. Well, perfect in my opinion. Lol. Zkittlez Two got a reservoir refill today as well. No top feeding. She doesn't need it at all. Her buds are swelling up and filling in the colas. Her branches are super strong, so I don't expect to fall from bud weight. Don't get me wrong, that would be absolutely awesome if they did. Alas, I doubt it. Anyway, still a well filled out plant. The main cola is nearly filled with bud from the third node up. Very impressed. Grow System Environment: Temp: 77.1° RH: 58.5% VPD: 1.29 kPa July 16, 2023 Short entry today. Both ladies are in the stage where I don't have anything to do, but watering and maybe a leaf or two. Zkittlez One is stacking and swelling buds. She will be heavy in the end. Maybe I'll get lucky and have a 15 lb whole plant. Just saying. Pipe dreams. Lol Zkittlez Two is just swelling now. Maybe a little bit more stacking, but mostly done and focused on swelling up. I don't expect to see much fade as I rarely get any in my grows. But I do expect some really nice bud. Looking great! Grow System Environment: Temp: 76.8° RH: 61% VPD: 1.20 kPa July 17, 2023 Zkittlez One happily needed a full gallon in the reservoir today. I am definitely getting a handle on plant size to water intake. And how to keep the wick system running properly. It's a matter of keeping the soil at the ideal moisture level. When I dips a bit too low in the soil, the wicking system has trouble keeping up with the demands. So to keep it active, the gallon top feed worked wonders. Now I have another week or so of efficient water intake before resetting. The buds on the plant are all getting nice and fat with 3 weeks left in the grow. I can tell that the colas are going to be hefty. There's definitely some branches that aren't strong enough to hold the weight. They are thin auxiliary branches, but they are still tops. Fortunately, they are all in the center of the canopy, so falling over won't be much of an issue. There are some side branches that may get weighed down. Also, I have been doing all I can to keep her off the walls while still leaving room for the other plants. It's definitely a chore. I even took the tie downs off another plant in there to keep it more vertical than spread out. It's probably a bad idea, but it's the best I have for now. Either way, this lady won't have any trouble at all. Zkittlez Two is still doing her thing. I took a couple inner leaves out today from some side branches. You know, the ones that are sticking up against the main stem and buried in the buds. So now the buds have a bit more room to expand and swell. They are also getting more light in the lowest part of the plant. She's great on water and needs no real attention. For now anyway. She definitely will never be as thirsty as her sister plant, but she seems to have a nice flow. Maybe 1/3 gallon a day. Something I have noticed is the lack of intense smell coming from either of them. I could be nose blind, but I can definitely tell when it's a loud plant. These are not loud. Not yet at least. I think Zkittlez One is shaping up to be a nice loud strain towards the end of the grow. Who knows, Zkittlez Two might be right around the corner for an overwhelming odor. Something to note: roots on both plants are completely taking over the wick systems. Zkittlez One way more so, but Zkittlez Two is starting to catch up. Grow System Environment: Temp: 76.8° RH: 59.5% VPD: 1.25 kPa July 18, 2023 Zkittlez One is absolutely perfect. I cut another super low branch off today. It was just not up to snuff. This should be it for defoliation and pruning. She has also grown another inch over the week. I think she's done now. Buds are getting fatter and connecting more and more up the branches and stems. Beautiful colas are forming all over the plant. Trichome production is starting to pick up the pace. Let's hope the vigor and health of the plant gives some super dank and frosty buds. Her water intake is right on point. About a half gallon over the past day. Zkittlez Two is frosty and fat. She looks great, has a nice aroma coming along. Very loud when the leaves get snipped off. She's also super sticky. Watering is fine for her size. Everything looks good on that end. I also took a measurement as well. She is 31" tall. Stacks are done and now it's just a matter of more and smore swelling. She still has 3 weeks left, so I expect some massive tops. Or at least some heavy tops. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.9° RH: 59.7% VPD: 1.21 kPa

July 19, 2023 Day 71 Zkittlez One: Height: 35" DLI: 48 mol/m²/d Zkittlez Two: Height: 31" DLI: 40 mol/m²/d This week is just bottom feed. No more plucking of leaves. Just monitoring both plants. Both ladies got a full reservoir refill today. I've increased the Overdrive Nutrient for this week as well. Everything will stay the same for the rest of the grow and some flawless finish through the last week. Zkittlez One will need watering every other day. Her soil is at a perfect moisture level, so top feeding won't be needed for at least a few days. Her buds are absolutely beautiful. Definitely fatter than Zkittlez Two. The stacks are starting to really fatten up and connect perfectly. She is also starting to smell wonderful. However, it's getting strong and I need to be careful with the tent being open. Zkittlez Two is looking great. Her buds are definitely sativa. Long and thin. A little bit wispy and not too dense yet. There's still 19 days until the end of her life cycle, so I expect some impressive swelling by the end. Technically she is on week 6 of flower, but absolutely has more time. So 2 more weeks of packing on weight and then a week of trichomes maturity. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.2° RH: 60.3% VPD: 1.15 kPa July 20, 2023 Nothing to do today for either plant. Both are watered and living life. Zkittlez One is packing on the pounds. Her colas are getting packed with sticky buds. Lots of trichomes. Her stems and branches are getting super strong now and I expect to see some amazing bud production. By the looks and feel of it, I'm guessing these branches will take a whole lot of weight. Her aroma is pleasant. Not too strong, but I could be nose blind. However, with her age and her time in flower, she may go well over the 90 day grow cycle. Technically she is week 3 of flower. So she has a good 3 weeks to go plus another week of ripening and maturing. Maybe a week more after that for trichome maturity. We shall see. Something to note is that each main branch holds several auxiliary branches and looks like a plant on its own. So 5 "plants" in one. hahaha. Also, now that the buds are in full swing and are getting heavier and fatter, the air movement isn't blowing the branches around as much. I can only assume it will get even tighter and I may need to increase the fan speed to penetrate the sea of colas. Zkittlez Two is also looking great! She's getting into the last few weeks of her grow cycle. I can only assume she will either be a little early for harvest or just on time. Bud structure is still kinda long and wispy. But they are packed tight along all the tops. So basically, she is just maturing now. Trichome production is pretty good. I would like to see more, but she still has plenty of time before harvest. Depending on how much heavier and tighter her buds get, I still think I'll pull a solid 2 oz from this lady. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.7° RH: 61.3° VPD: 1.08 kPa July 21, 2023 Zkittlez One lookin' good. Her aroma is starting to get stronger. A few leaves off today. Just 3. She won't need watering for a couple days. I also need to water down the reservoir to see if I can drop the Nitrogen levels. I'll also be top watering a quarter gallon of straight water. Hopefully that helps as well. As for her bud production... Looking great as well. She has stopped stacking for the most part and is now swelling them buds up. Maybe she will stack a bit more. Just to make the colas a bit bigger. Some of the tops are completely covered in buds. Trichome production is looking great as well. I hope she increases production for the last few weeks. I'd like some super sticky buds. Zkittlez Two is perfectly fine. Her watering is all good. She doesn't seem to have any nutrient issues. She's still bulking up. Really loose buds though. I'm not really sure what happened there. I'm sure the next 3 weeks will bring out some hefty colas. I popped off 2 leaves that were directly covering bud sites. Not much else to report. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.1° RH: 59.8% VPD: 1.14 kPa July 22, 2023 Zkittlez One got a gallon top feed. I cut the nirvana and cal/mag in half so I can combat nitrogen toxicity. At least that's what I was told it was. I'm not sure though. Nitrogen toxicity is supposed to have the claw down. Mine are canoeing and curling up. It doesn't seem to be doing it anymore. Hopefully my fix worked and she gets back to her being a big plant. A few lower leaves off today and found a couple dead ones as well. I also accidentally snapped a lower bud off. Fortunately, it looked like a popcorn bud so no big deal. Speaking of, I wish I had cleared out more of the lower canopy when I had the chance. I think it would be a lot better overall for the plant. Bulking and whatnot is the thing to do. She has some really frosty buds. The aroma is smelling great as well. Zkittlez Two is also doing her thing. She isn't taking much water in. I think that is to be expected for where she is in flowering. Technically this is week 7 of flower for her? Hmmmmm. I wonder if she will make it the whole 90 days. I really hope so. I don't have access to the dry tent at the moment. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.1° RH: 60.3% VPD: 1.16 kPa July 23, 2023 Zkittlez One is bulking up nicely. Beautiful tops and massive colas forming all over the place. I went digging in the lower central canopy to remove old leaves that weren't getting anywhere and were covering other bud sites. The canopy is really deep, so opening up the bottom a little bit more should help with better air and light. Not much else to report today. However, I will note that a lot of the auxiliary branches are really thin and kinda weak. They are mostly in the center of the plant, but some are on the outside. I may have to put up the trellis net for support. We shall see. Zkittlez Two is really packing on the weight. The main cola is massive. Side branch colas are nice too. There are 2 of them that just took off. They are about the same size as the main cola. Not quite as deep, but definitely getting heavy. These next couple weeks coming up should provide an even heavier and fatter set of colas. I'm still guessing 2 oz from this one. I ended up lifting her about 4" up. I want to get each plant at the same height as Zkittlez One. The main cola is as tall as the highest top on Zkittlez One. So if everything works out, she should start more trichome production and more swelling. Hopefully that will help her crank up her water intake as well. The best part is now the lowest branches have way more light now. So I'm expecting them to dense up. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.6° RH: 60.3% VPD: 1.14 kPa July 24, 2023 Zkittlez One needed a watering today. So I put a half gallon in the reservoir and a half gallon top water. She's drinking super fast now, so I have to keep a close eye on her. Buds are bulking up pretty nicely. I'm still finding leaves that are unnecessary in the middle of the canopy. Happily, they are super easy to remove. No snips needed. They just pop right off right at the base. I'll definitely be wet trimming or half wet trimming this lady. She has a lot of leaves, but more bud so that's great! Zkittlez Two needs nothing today. She still has about half a reservoir left and needs absolutely no top watering. I pulled 2 leaves off that I found were blocking lower bud sites. The colas are still packing on weight and I'm assuming will continue to do so through the rest of the grow. Still another 2 weeks left before the 90 day mark. I definitely feel like she will be ready on day 90. Zkittlez One may not be ready for harvest by day 90. If that is the case, then I'm going to keep Zkittlez Two in the tent until Zkittlez One is done. It will be an interesting experiment. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.4° RH: 59.5% VPD: 1.15 kPa July 25, 2023 Zkittlez One got a half gallon top feed today. As advised in my question this week, I left out the Nirvana nutrient and dropped the cal/mag down to 2 ml/gal. Hopefully that will fix my nitrogen toxicity issue. So lesson learned was that dark colored leaves that are clawing up is nitrogen toxicity and not a deficiency. I hope that helps increase bud production. Still a good 2 to 3 weeks left on her. So we should be safe? Zkittlez Two will be getting a reservoir refill either later today or tomorrow morning. I will be adjusting the Nirvana and Cal/Mag down as well. The damage doesn't seem to be as far along as Zkittlez One, so this will only help things get better. She has a really fat long main cola. There are 2 branches that are nice and tall covered in buds as well. The other 2 are shorter, but still have fat colas. Not as long though. Something I've noticed and can't tell if it's from too much light, but the stacks are super pointy. The each top has a little budlet sticking straight up. Could be good or bad. I'll have to see what Zkittlez One does when she's done stacking. Not that she has much left and her colas are nice cone shapes. If you look at her pictures, Zkittlez Two isn't all that compact. Her buds are bug, but not connected to the main cola so much as the tops of each bud sticks out from the cola itself. There are some air pockets where you can see right through, but the buds are starting to harden up and get denser. Maybe they will swell up even more and fill in those gaps. I have canoeing leaves from either light burn or a nitrogen deficiency. The 240 watt light is close but at 50% and the the deficiency is from taking out veg nutrients. Is it fine? Or should I drop my intensity down even more?

High bro, you give too much nitrogen I can see that from the dark green color from your leaves. I just checked the Advanced nutrients and you need to stop giving the Nirvana nutrient to prevent more damage in the future due Nitrogen toxicity. Next to that you just need to do what you have been doing your plant and diary are looking great!

July 26, 2023 Day 78 Zkittlez One: Height: 35" Light Distance: 9.5" DLI: 43 mol/m²/d Zkittlez Two: Height: 31" Light Distance: 12" DLI: 40 mol/m²/d This week is a major focus on nutrients and ensuring proper watering. I've dropped the Nirvana (tasty terpenes) out completely. Cal/mag will stay reduced down to 2 ml/gal. I've also lowered the light intensity to 40% as the DLI was closer to 50 mol/m²/d. It did however cause Zkittlez Two to drop to 40 mol/m²/d and much lower at the branches. Not much to do about it now. Zkittlez One is the focus of this grow now. I won't neglect Zkittlez Two, but she is nearly done and the lower DLI should help with trichome production? I think? Zkittlez One is getting really frosty. She looks great! Her buds are really starting to swell. I don't think there will be much more stacking. Although I did notice today that they are growing the same way as Zkittlez Two. So as I said in the beginning of flowering. Zkittlez Two will be a good example of what's to come. And I would say it's impressive. 2 to 3 more weeks on this lady. Based on the maturity of her buds, it makes sense to see a 97 day grow. She also got a half gallon top watering as well. She is cruising through water and nutrients like mad. Her reservoir is taking a bit longer to empty due to the top watering, but it's still cruising through that too. Such beauty. Such grace. Such sticky goodness. Zkittlez Two is about 2 weeks away from harvest. I'd say she will be ready on day 90. But as said before, she will be chopped when Zkittlez One is ready for harvest. She needs no water today, but she is starting to get a little more thirsty. I'm assuming this is the last ditch effort to take in as much as she can before the last leg of her journey. I'm guessing next week, her water intake will crawl down to a trickle. I think that will be the time to start the flushing and finishing process. I might keep the nutrients up for another week and on week 13, start flushing. I guess it all depends on what Zkittlez One looks like. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.3° RH: 61.8% VPD: 1.09 kPa July 27, 2023 Zkittlez One is looking good. Unfortunately, I think the nitrogen toxicity got a little out of hand. It's still progressing, or at least not fixed yet. I guess it's a waiting game for now. She still looks great! And her buds are getting fat and frosty. I think that once the toxicity is gone, I'll see a major pickup in trichome production. And probably more swelling too. I gave her a half gallon top feed. The reservoir is still pretty full, so no need there. I think for the next week, I'll add a half gallon when she gets down to 35% moisture. Zkittlez Two is just doing her thing. No water needed. Just the daily quarter turn. I won't be checking trichomes for at least another week on her. I can tell there's just no point yet. Plus these are sativa's, so I expect the flowering period to take a bit longer. The buds are starting to get dense and hard now. I can only guess that they will keep putting on weight in the days to come. Bud structure is that pointy tip look I said in a previous week. However, now that the buds have swelled up some. Everything is connecting and looking less airy and more solid. She smells great! Kind of a gassy sickly sweet aroma. Pungent would be a good descriptor. However, with another strain in the tent that I believe is more powerful, it's hard to really tell what I'm smelling. Good problems to have. Am I right?! The main trunk is just a massive cola. Quite impressive. The largest side branch is also a big cola. The other 3 branches have colas, but they don't really compare. Although, if you look at this week's close up pic, you'll notice how chaotic the cola is. The buds protrude everywhere making it look like a mace with spikes. I also feel like she will be super easy to trim. The sugar leaves are pretty big, so they shouldn't be a problem. I've also found that the fan leaves snap off very easily right at the base. This is the case with both plants. I wonder if there's a thing about that. Or it's another sign of nitrogen toxicity. I'll ask that question today. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 62.6% VPD: 1.06 kPa July 28, 2023 Zkittlez One looks really great! Lots of frost now. Tons of fattening buds. It's like paradise. The environment in the tent is absolutely insane. I'm stuck at 60% RH. I'd like it lower to around 55% RH. Happily I have a new air conditioner coming in a few days. She is chugging the water to a point where I may have to top feed another half gallon today. Maybe an afternoon watering. I checked the roots as well. They look pretty good. The wicks are really dark though. I'm going to clean it up when I completely stop nutrients next week. Zkittlez Two looks good. Her pistils are almost all orange, but she's definitely not ready. She's good on water and has some more filling out to do and much more cloudy trichomes. Other than that, she is on her way to be a nice little harvest. I'm still thinking 2 oz, but the buds aren't that dense, so it may be less. We shall see. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.8° RH: 59.9% VPD: 1.19 kPa July 29, 2023 Zkittlez One needed another half gallon top feed today and got a reservoir refill as well. This should be the last reservoir refill before flushing. She's looking great and getting super strong in her aroma. Wonderful! Buds are still bulking up of course. I'd still say another 2 and a half weeks left to go for her. Zkittlez Two is just doing her thing getting heavier and more orange pistils. Her buds still haven't swollen up completely yet. So that's a thing, but she still has a week or 2 left. No watering today, I took one leaf off that looked at me wrong. So it's gone. Boom. That's it for this lady today. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.8° RH: 60% VPD: 1.15 kPa July 30, 2023 Zkittlez One looks like she will be done in 2 to 3 weeks. She's definitely not going to be done in 8 days. Definitely more time. She will definitely need a to feeding tonight, but I'm going to hold off for the day. I want to see if she will take more from the reservoir before it gets too stagnant. So tomorrow morning I'll see how the reservoir is and how her soil moisture is. Hopefully it stays steady. If not, she gets a gallon top feed. Other than that, I found a couple leaves that were starting to die out and fade away. They came off mostly because they were way under the canopy and getting no light. But the sign of slight fade is very promising. I'm not sure when the fade is actually supposed to start. Is it the last week? Last 2? Either way, I think I've only had 1 plant that had a fade. I'm not sure why, but I'm thinking it's always been too much nitrogen. I wonder. I'll see with the other strain as I'm not using any nutrients. Just the living soil. Zkittlez Two is looking pretty good. Kinda? I've noticed the buds are starting to push out from the colas. Could be good or bad? Mutation? She's a week or 2 ahead of Zkittlez One. Her pistils are almost all orange. I also checked the trichomes today and there's a ton of clear. And no amber. So she still has time left. I'm thinking if this is a mutation or light stress, I'm should wait for more amber trichomes than normal. Like 25%. I read that somewhere. That's if it's foxtailing. If not, then oh well. It'll be a heady sedative. Anyway, it's going to really show me what to expect, but maybe not. We shall see. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.6° RH: 63% VPD: 1.06 kPa July 31, 2023 Zkittlez One needed a full gallon top feed today. No runoff or anything. A little bit of dripping, but that's it. The wicking system isn't really active again, but I think these a build up of nutrients on the wicks. They may need to be rinsed before the reservoir finishes up. My only concern is disturbing the roots at such a crucial time in the grow. They have grown right into the wicks. Maybe I should just leave it alone and when I start flushing it will clear up. I'll just use warm water when filling the reservoir. Her buds are looking wonderful! She is getting super frosty with more and more trichomes piling on. She's sticky and smells wonderful. I have been looking under the canopy and am seeing a lot of smaller buds and a whole lot of popcorn buds. I should have done a better job at cleaning her up. Zkittlez Two is still fattening up. I think. It could be the angle of the picture, but it looks bigger to me. Fatter and fuller. She has a wonderful aroma, gassy and sweet, but more noticable in the gas. A full reservoir refill today. Still no need for top watering. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.5° RH: 63.1% VPD: 1.05 kPa August 1, 2023 Today is the last day of the week for these ladies. This upcoming week will be all flush based and lots of tender loving care. Zkittlez One is looking great! Her buds are starting to put on significant weight. A couple branches are already starting to lean. Nothing to worry about. They are all braced somehow. I'm going to guess that she still has a couple weeks left at least. Unless she suddenly decides to bulk and mature in the next week or so. Haha. Nope. So 2 to 3 weeks. Easy. Zkittlez Two is getting fatter and heavier. I've decided that's why the buds are popping out the sides of the colas. (Really I'm just telling myself that so I don't feel bad.) No water needed. No adjustments needed. Just the quarter turn. Her trichomes are mostly cloudy with still a decent amount of clear and no amber that I can see. Still a good week left, maybe longer. Hopefully a little longer. I really want to harvest both plants at the same time. But I may end up harvesting earlier than the other. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.1° RH: 63.4% VPD: 1.03 kPa

The fan leaves can snap at the base pretty easily. I'm wondering if this is a problem. For me it's great. Just a little tug down and snap. BUT is that bad? Both plants suffered a bit of nitrogen toxicity. Is that a side effect? They don't fall off on their own. Just easily

Anyone know why this is happening? Look at that little ornament topper. Why is this a thing? Thanks! It's on all the tops of this specific plant. The other one doesn't have this. Thanks!

Happy Gardening 💪

August 2, 2023 Day 85 I won't be recording the weekly stats anymore as they are the same as last week and will be the same next week. So this week we focus on flush and removal of leaves blocking precious bud sites. There aren't many but still a nice focus on all productive buds. A popcorn bud was accidentally pulled off today by Zkittlez Two when I was adjusting them. I think that's probably good. One less popcorn bud to deal with. I still wish I had cleaned up the bottom of the canopy a bit more. Zkittlez One looks great as ever. She still has another 2 weeks left. Her bud structure is a perfect cone shape. They are swelling up nicely and connecting to make nice long colas. I can only imagine how she will look in a couple of weeks. I noticed the nitrogen toxicity stopped spreading... I think. However, the leaves are still dark green. She got a gallon of plain water on the top today. Just a little bit of dripping from the bottom. I am going to leave the reservoir alone until it's empty. That way she isn't losing all the nutrients at once. She still has access from the wicking system. She got a few more leaves pulled today. They were covering other bud sites again and I think it's helping to keep the branches a bit lighter as the buds swell and put on weight. She's starting to get a few orange pistils here and there, so I expect to see some impressive buds. Her trichome production is picking up the pace and she's getting packed with the frost. Her smell is also starting to get really strong. I'll have to get the tent to stay closed. But the humidity just won't budge. Zkittlez Two looks nice and fat. All of her pistils are orange and really starting to shrivel. After checking trichomes, she's definitely not ready. I'll be top feeding water with flawless finish for the rest of the grow in think. I might refill the reservoir with plain water when it dries out. The top watering should be fine though. A gallon of top water every few days will suffice I think. I'll start that when she dries out a bit as well. So I might have to just refill the reservoir and that's it. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.2° RH: 61.2% VPD: 1.06 kPa August 3, 2023 Zkittlez One is doing great! She smells strong. The smell flooded my room the second I opened the tent today. And wouldn't go away. So that's a great sign! Buds are still bulking up and trichome production is insane! She's at 44% moisture content, so I'll be waiting for tomorrow to add a gallon of fresh water. I'll start the flawless finish in the reservoir after it empties. Maybe next week I'll add the flawless finish to the top feed. Zkittlez Two looks great! Almost done. But due to the foxtailing, I understand that I should let her mature more to compensate I guess? So she will be harvested when Zkittlez One is ready. I'll start the flawless finish with her when this current reservoir empties out. I may do a gallon top water as well. But not until next week I think. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.8° RH: 63.6% VPD: 1.02 kPa August 4, 2023 Zkittlez One is getting more and more frosty. She's swelling and her pistils are starting to turn orange. We are in the home stretch. Based on Zkittlez Two, she should be ready in about 2 weeks. She got a gallon of top water today. The reservoir is also almost empty. A couple more days and it should be dried up. The reservoir will be getting the flawless finish this week. Next week will be flawless finish top feed. Everything else looks great! Zkittlez Two is looking so close to done, but no where near ready according to her trichomes. She is fine with watering for now. I feel like the buds have bulked up as much as they can. Maybe they will pack on more weight as they get dense, if they get more dense, that is. I don't know what I should expect with this plant. Everything with the environment is all messed up. It's humid out, not hot but warm. My room is like 60% RH temp gets up to 80° with dehumidifier on. Air conditioner for some reason won't pull the moisture out of the air. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.7° RH: 62.4% VPD: 1.09 kPa August 5, 2023 Zkittlez One is still bulking up and is covered in trichomes now. She has plenty of time to make more. Her reservoir is nearly empty, so tomorrow she will get the gallon with flawless finish and a gallon top feed of plain water. I keep discovering more 3 finger leaves. I definitely think I screwed up the lighting for this grow. I'm willing to bet that I'd have more plant if I didn't mess it up. Either way she is still a beast and looks absolutely amazing. Zkittlez Two is looking fine. Not much left in swelling, but her trichomes are still very clear. There are more cloudy trichomes though. And no amber yet. She will need a reservoir refill tomorrow. 1 gallon of with flawless finish. One thing to note is how many trichomes she has. They're definitely stacking on each other now. Her buds are also getting dense and hard. These are foxtails, so they won't be all that dense from what I understand. Still though, there is a decent amount of yield. So as long as there is quality, I'll be happy. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.6° RH: 63.4% VPD: 1.01 kPa August 6, 2023 Zkittlez One has a thick layer of trichomes. Most of the buds are completely covered, hiding the green budlets. She has more orange pistils. So she is super close to harvest. Maybe a week and a half. She got a full watering today. 1 gallon plain top water and 1 gallon flawless finish in the reservoir. This should help start the fade, hopefully. Her buds and tops are getting heavy and really dense. They are weighing down a couple of the branches. Happily, there's a whole tent of plant tops and branches. So nothing is really leaning. Zkittlez Two is filled with all orange pistils. But still no amber trichomes. Maybe 1 or 2 here and there. There's still a decent amount of clear trichomes left though. I'd say another week and a half. And if it's sooner, she's waiting anyway. She got a reservoir refill today with flawless finish. So hopefully that will kickstart the fade. I'd love to see some pretty colors and solid buds. She smells wonderful and ripe. Very strong aroma now. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.6° RH: 63.6% VPD: 0.99 kPa August 7, 2023 Day 90 It is SUPER humid out today. My room is suffering as well as the grow tent. Currently the outside RH is 82%. My room is 70% and the grow tent is now at 67% Zkittlez One is starting to kill off some of the lower leaves or they are just dying because they have absolutely no light. Yesterday she got her full watering and the moisture level after was 44% moisture. Since yesterday the moisture content had increased to now 50%. What that tells me is the wicking system activated again. Now the moisture level is where she likes it. Her buds and colas are looking absolutely amazing. Super dense, thick and coated with frost. Orange pistils are becoming abundant. Her smell is interesting. Very earthy and sweet. It's a bit pungent and heady. I'd say by the end of next week, she should be ready for harvest. Maybe 10 days? Zkittlez Two looks good. She has a lot of cloudy trichomes and less clear now. However, I still don't see any amber. Her buds are solid even for a plant full of foxtails. Super dense and sticky. Her scent is different than Zkittlez One. It's sickly sweet and lacks earthy tones completely. More berry and citrus. She is also fairly gassy. It's pungent but sharp. Great smell all around. I like this one better than the other. She doesn't need any watering. The wicking system is still going strong. I'm hoping for some fade in the next couple of days. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.9° RH: 68.7% VPD: 0.86 kPa August 8, 2023 Last day 0f this weeks and there was nothing to do. Both ladies are perfect with water. Zkittlez One is pulling water in from the reservoir pretty fast. The flawless finish should start really working over the next few days I hope. It should. The next week coming up will focus on the beginning of removing the leaves for a wet trim. I'll be pulling a few here and there that are dying. I'm hoping for a nice fade. But I haven't really had a true fade with any of my grows. It has to be the living soil. Either way, I'll be checking trichomes beginning next week. Zkittlez Two still has barely any amber trichomes and there's still a decent amount of clear. Mostly cloudy though. I'll be waiting until Zkittlez One is ready. She also has not started a fade at all. It looks like she is just sitting there doing nothing. It's all working just where I can't see. The colas are ridiculous in size. Maybe it's due to all the foxtailing widening out the cola. I'm not sure. But I'll say the whole plant is fairly dense though, so I still hope frona decent yield. Maybe just over 2 oz. Maybe? Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.7° RH: 65.8% VPD: 0.97 kPa Update: This humidity is an absolute nightmare. My dehumidifier can't keep up. The air conditioner cools the room, but adds more humidity. The temp is around 80° and humidity is 64% to 67%. It even climbed up to 71%. The really annoying part is the tent door is open. Closing it spikes the RH even higher. Boooooooooooooo argh!

August 9, 2023 Day 92 This week should be the last week for these ladies. So far it's been a great run! Both have wonderful trichome production and have nice dense buds. The focus will be on watering, leaf removal and potential fade. Zkittlez One is about a week to 10 days away from harvest. Her pistils are turning orange quite fast. Much like Zkittlez Two who's turned rather quickly. She will be needing a new reservoir tomorrow. I was going to refill it today, but there is still some water left and I want her to drink what she has currently. I'll be focused on removing lower dead leaves. Maybe a popcorn bud here and there. I'm not sure about that yet. She'll be getting a partial wet trim. I want to clear the foliage from the bottom completely and then the largest leaves with stems I can reach. Happily, that may take a bit of digging deep. I'll have to be extra careful. I figure a partial wet trim will make the rest of the trimming that much easier. It'll definitely take some time. I may trim right in the main tent for both wet and dry. I have learned that where I trim outside is a bit too dusty and honestly harder to do. My only concern is the odor. It will be extremely strong and may overwhelm my house. I hope to harvest her whole. That way I can estimate her final yield. I calculate 8% weight retention after dry and trim. If it's over than I'm happy. If it's under, then I messed something up. I'm still waiting for her to fade. The flawless finish should do it very soon I think. Zkittlez Two is almost ready for harvest. I'm still going to wait for Zkittlez One to finish up. She needs no water as of right now. She's barely drinking. Such a good sign. I expect great things this week. She will be dried whole instead of wet trimmed. There's plenty of open space for each bud to get air around them. I'll be taking a wet weight and leaving 8% weight retention after dry and trim. She has not started to fade yet which is really annoying. She should have started to fade a week ago. Maybe the flawless finish will do the trick this week at the very end. I can't imagine she has even longer than a week to go. I'm still surprised how little amber trichomes she has. The clear are less abundant now. But still, what a long maturation time. This is the beginning of the 9th week in flower. 9 weeks in flower. That's so long for an autoflower, right? Shouldn't it be around 6 to 8 weeks? Oh well. Her massive cola is well worth the time it has taken. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 64.8% VPD: 1.01 kPa August 10, 2023 Zkittlez One got a reservoir refill today. She doesn't need a top watering at all. So that's good. It must mean she isn't drinking as much as she was a few days ago. Then end time is near. Still no fade, but definitely more trichome production. Lower leaves are starting to shrivel up from age and lack of light. The branches are showing great signs as well. They are starting to lean up against each other due to weight. We are also seeing more and more orange pistils. At this rate, it should be a matter of days until the pistils are all orange like Zkittlez Two. I'll start checking trichomes at the end of the week I think. Based on what I have been seeing from Zkittlez Two, the trichomes take some time to turn amber. Maybe because this one is not messy with foxtails, the trichomes will mature faster. I hope som I'm counting on a harvest in the next week to 2 weeks. As I have been saying for the last 2 weeks. Hahaha. Probably a week. She smells great as well. Sweet and earthy. Zkittlez Two got a reservoir refill today and I almost overfilled it as well. There was more water left in than I thought. She hasn't done much of anything. Her trichomes are very slowly starting to show amber trichomes. If I'm correct, that will take another week. Which coincides with Zkittlez One harvest time. She is definitely a smelly girl. So sweet. So earthy. So gassy. So wonderful. I can definitely tell this is gonna be some super good smoke. I've also noticed the longest side branch has its foxtails pushing out even more. Like they have no room to stay tight, but there is plenty of space. Weird. Maybe it's all dense and just the tips all did the exact same thing as the tops. If that's the case, then this plant has a lot of bud on it. I decided to start looking up the street value of the strains I have. This one has an average value in the USA of $11 per gram. $200 per ounce. I feel like that's good information to know. How much you are saving or profiting. Whatever way you want to look at it. Here's the info. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.7° RH: 65.4% VPD: 0.98 kPa (I swear the tent WANTS to stay here. Nothin I do can keep it away. Smh) August 11, 2023 Zkittlez One looks great! I think she bulked up a bit overnight. Her tops just look more filled in. Her wicking system is working full force and has been since I switched to just flawless finish. That tells me I may have overdone the nutrients. In the reservoir at least. Or maybe nutrient lockout? Well, I learned something. Once the water went in, the moisture level evened out and has been between 52% and 55% since. More orange pistils coming along. Very even spread as well across the whole plant. I'm quite excited for her harvest. I'll be checking trichomes in a few days. There's definitely no need with her orange pistil count. Maybe I'll get some more swelling over the rest of the week. Also, her roots have completely engulfed the wicks. Super impressive root structure. I think we have hit smoothe sailing for the rest of the grow. No signs of fade yet. Maybe in a few days. We are combatting living soil. Maybe this stuff work work at all. Who knows. The water intake improved. So that's good. We shall see. Zkittlez Two is also looking good. Still very few amber trichomes. Mostly cloudy now. So I think she will be on point with her sister plant. She isn't taking in a ton of water as she hasn't for the whole grow. This seems like a bit less. Also a good sign. Now for the fade. Maybe there won't be one. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.4° RH: 63.9% VPD: 1.07 kPa August 12, 2023 Zkittlez One looks fantastic. She is starting to produce purple hues. Very pretty. I can only assume it will get more vibrant in the days to come. Her pistils are quickly turning orange as mentioned before, but she isn't fading at all. I wonder if the damage from the nitrogen toxicity is preventing that. 🤔 She also got a full reservoir refill today. So she is going through a half gallon a day still. Another thing to mention is how heavy the tops are getting. More and more branches are starting to weigh down and lean against one another, or up against the tent walls. It's mostly the wide ends where there isn't any interference from 2 more plants. Zkittlez Two is also looking good. Still very few amber trichomes, but there are a couple here and there. I have a feeling that now I'm seeing some amber, they will be coming out on full force now. It's just a matter of time. Days I'd say. Nothing else going on with her. She's drinking, getting light, getting rotated and getting air flow. I have noticed the colas getting fatter. It's mostly the buds spreading out more and more. I don't understand how that works, but I may just have extra bud on top of what are already decent sized colas. It's just the spread is happening everywhere. We shall see. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.5° RH: 61.2% VPD: 1.11 kPa August 13, 2023 Zkittlez One is looking amazing and is really packing on weight. Most of her tops are starting to lean a bit. Some more than others. Even the largest top is starting to lean. Let's hope it keeps up for a few more days. I started pulling leaves that were sticking out over lower bud sites. Not completely on top, but hovering. I didn't have anything else to pull. So now it's just getting ready for harvest very slowly. Her aroma is pungent and certainly strong. No watering needed today. She still hasn't started to fade yet, but I'm finding leaves on the bottom that are starting to. They got plucked. No sense in keeping them. Plus, the more I remove now, the less I have to deal with at harvest. Not to mention, it's slightly lightening up the branches so less lean. They all came off really easily. Just a slight bend and snap. Still don't know if that's good or bad. With this weight being packed on, I am confident she will be a heavy yielder. I'm guessing 6 oz. Maybe 8. It all depends on how much heavier she gets. From wet weight, an 8 oz yielding plant would have been 6.25 lbs whole. That's an 8% weight retention after trimming and manicure. I figure 8% is a realistic number from whole to finished product. Anything more is just the bonus I wasn't expecting. Still, between 6 and 8 oz is where I'm thinking. Maybe less, but I really don't think so. I've had smaller plants with way less bud weigh 3 to 4 oz. And this is the biggest plant I've grown so far. So it would stand to reason that this one will produce significantly more finished product. Zkittlez Two is an interesting plant. On one hand, she's covered in foxtails. On the other, her colas are absolutely massive. And thick. It also seems pretty heavy as well. Top heavy I mean. And that is with a full reservoir and 55% soil moisture. Needless to say, the pot is significantly heavier than the plant, but she's still top heavy. 2 of the main branches are starting to lean and the dop is swaying a bit more with the breeze, but a thing I noticed is how heavy it is. The top would definitely lean if the main stem wasn't super strong. On another note, she still hasn't even come close to fading. I'm starting to think it's the soil I use. Maybe there's just too much nitrogen for autoflowers and they can't clear it out fast enough. I'll be experimenting with how it works for the next grow. No nutrients until flowering. Hopefully that will help clear out the nitrogen. Issue. If that's what is happening. I'm also going to cut back the dose. Normally it's a half dose with every reservoir refill, but I don't think that is necessary. Maybe every other reservoir refill. It's only a gallon at a time, so it won't be wasted and will certainly be used. Let's hope it works the way I think and won't end up poisoning my plants again. However, I did notice that this lady suffered way less toxicity than her sister plant, but was given the exact same feeding regimen and she's not as big. So there's that as well. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.6° RH: 62.6% VPD: 1.10 kPa August 14, 2023 Zkittlez One is looking fantastic! More orange pistils and the buds are getting tighter. I did a quick trichome check today as well. As expected, she's not ready yet. I'll check again in a couple of days. I will say, I see a few amber trichomes, so that's better than her sister plant. She got a full watering today. One gallon top feed with Flawless Finish and another gallon in the reservoir. That should set her up for a few days. The funny part is the gallon didn't even touch the moisture levels in the soil. She must have been really thirsty. Anyway, she's all set now. Zkittlez Two is also looking great. Her trichomes are still lacking amber, but a couple more. However, I'm pretty sure I can harvest anytime. The only issue is the other 3 plants I have going. I have one in the dry tent because I ran out of space in my main tent. And it's too big to fit in the space available from this lady. So regardless if I want to or not, I'll be harvesting all plants at the same time. It should be fine. The rest will be ready to harvest within the next week. No water needed today either and still no fade. I don't think she's going to fade at all. Unlike her sister plant, who is showing purple hues, she isn't showing any signs of colors at all. Just the green she has been the whole time. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.8° RH: 62.2% VPD: 1.09 kPa August 15, 2023 Zkittlez One looks absolutely amazing. Her trichomes are starting to turn amber. Definitely a ton of cloudy. Very few clear. I'd say a matter of days. I started pulling the extra leaves. Yes I have extra. There's a ton. So I removed a bunch. Mostly lower canopy, but some of the mid as well and a few upper leaves that were just doing nothing. I don't think she will be fading. The purple hues are on the buds, but I see zero signs of fade or yellowing leaves. So I've decided she won't be fading, like most of my other plants. I think it's the soil. Probably too rich in nitrogen. She's about half way through her reservoir. Soil moisture is around 54%. She may get another watering tomorrow, depending on how full the reservoir is. If it's still fairly full, I may hold off on watering for the rest of the grow. Zkittlez Two is ready for harvest. I'm going to wait for Zkittlez One to finish up. I also have those 2 other plants in the tent that should be done within the week. The goal is to harvest everyone at the same time. She smells wonderful and has tons of frost. Even though she's covered in foxtails, her buds are dense and hard. I really can't wait to taste this one. Super sweet and pungent. She won't be needing water anymore I think. Based on how little time she has left, I think letting her dry out a bit would help with her final push. 48 hours of dark and then harvest. Most likely in the next 3 or 4 days. August 16, 2023 Day 99 This should be the last week for this grow. Both ladies are almost ready to go. Just a few more days to get some amber trichomes. Neither will be watered for the rest of the grow I think. Zkittlez One may need a reservoir refill tomorrow, but that should be the last one. Zkittlez One is coming along quite nicely. Pistils are almost all orange now. I did notice a couple budlets at the top of some of the colas, but nothing to worry about. She seems to have packed on more trichomes as well. I think she's about as dense as she is going to get. I haven't seen any swelling in a couple of days, so she must be right there. Almost. Zkittlez Two is hanging out waiting for the other one to finish up. Her reservoir is about half full and her moisture content level is around 55%. Based on her feeding habits, I'd say this is the last watering she will have for the rest of the grow. I still have 2 other plants taking up space and need light. So the timing needs to be right. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.0° RH: 65.2% VPD: 0.98 kPa August 17, 2023 I was planning on taking some trichome shots, but I don't have a camera or macro lens good enough to get anything of quality, so we are just going to see the plants themselves until harvest. I may try for a while to get some trichome pics, but I doubt they will be any good. Zkittlez One just emptied her reservoir. So she will be getting a refill today. Half a gallon I think. And work from there. She's looking great! Nearly all her pistils are orange and I'm seeing a few more amber trichomes. She smells wonderful and I'm sure will taste just as good. Her buds are super frosty and are so thick they make the buds look almost white. She is getting a little bit more purple hues, but I don't think she will do anymore. Oh well. Zkittlez Two is basically perfectly ready for harvest. I may have to harvest her early and somehow make a space to dry her. She also emptied her reservoir today and I'll do a half gallon refill today as well. Her buds are definitely still spreading out a bit, but also seem to be swelling a tiny bit more. All of her pistils are orange now. So it's just a matter of the other plants in the tent finishing up. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.8° RH: 63.2% VPD: 1.03 kPa August 18, 2023 Zkittlez One is nearly ready for harvest. I added the last half gallon into the reservoir today and pulled a bunch more leaves. I'm only taking the ones that pop off with ease. I didn't make much progress though. She is very leafy. I'll just keep going until harvest. Hopefully by then, I'll have removed enough foliage for a comfortable dry. I plan on hanging her whole. I like to weigh wet, estimate dry and then compare the end result. That way I can start to see how much a plant may yield before harvest. Trichomes are almost all cloudy now. And he has a few amber trichomes. I could harvest tomorrow, but I still have 2 other plants that aren't quite ready yet. Zkittlez Two is done. Just done. I really want to harvest her now, but I don't have a drying space at the moment. She needs no water yet. Or at all for that matter. I don't have to remove any leaves as she is very leafless. Her sugar leaves are pretty big so I'll be dry trimming those. Other than that, she has a few fan leaves on the bottom of the plant and that's about it. She has plenty of amber trichomes. Not tons, but definitely enough to call her harvestable. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.3° RH: 64.6% VPD: 1.01 kPa August 19, 2023 Zkittlez One is nearly there. I pulled more leaves today. A nice big handful. It's starting to pay off as well. There are now big gaps in the canopy. Branches are leaning, air is flowing. Everything looks great. No watering anymore. So, depending on how much foliage I can comfortably remove, I might be harvesting in a day or 2. As long as the defoliation clears out enough to let the plant hang in a compact manner, I should be able to put both this lady and her sister plant in the 2x2 tent to dry. At least for the time being until the 2 other plants in the tent are harvested. Then I'll move the Zkittlez plants to the big tent to finish up drying. I may leave the Zkittlez Two in the small tent and dry the other 2 plants in the main tent with Zkittlez One. Actually, depending on what I can pull off, I might be able to let this lady grow a bit longer and harvest Zkittlez Two. She can then go in the drying tent and the one in the tent currently can be moved back to the big tent. However, I'm not sure what kind of shock that will cause the plant. 🤔🤔🤔 Zkittlez Two got her final half gallon in the reservoir today. No more watering for her. She has a pretty moist container, so I think she will dry out in a couple of days, unless I harvest before then. I don't think I'm going to run the 48 hour dark period. Not with this lady. She is already done and covered in trichomes. Maybe I'll try to switch them around tomorrow and put her in the small tent for a dark period... If I even do that. Honestly, I think I should have harvested her yesterday or today, but I'm still going to wait as much as I can. All plants harvested at the exact same time would be ideal. I started the wet trim process on her. As she is basically ready, I started with the rest of the fan leaves and some of the bigger sugar leaves. The rest I'm going to leave so the foxtails have something to keep them in place. I worked the bottom section and 2 of the branches. Tomorrow, I'll do the other 2 branches and then the top. So I could harvest tomorrow or in 2 days based on what I'm doing now. I read that IF you dona pre harvest defoliation, you should wait a couple of days before harvest anyway to let her bounce back and make that last ditch effort. I don't think I have time for all of that. Maybe if I do a 48 hour dark period, I can let her recover during that stage. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.0° RH: 62.4% VPD: 1.06 kPa August 20, 2023 Zkittlez One is done. She has to be. It's been over 100 days and nearly 10 weeks of flowering. Not many amber trichomes, it almost all cloudy. I think this is the peak time to harvest. I'm giving myself a 3 day window. No longer watered. She is still drinking quite a bit though. Like she is still going. Maybe she is. Either way, all signs point to harvest. Soil moisture is steadily declining which is perfect. She is currently at 48% moisture level. I'll keep an eye on the decline for science. It should be only a couple of days before she starts drying out. She is super heavy too. So now that the tie downs are off, the tops are leaning pretty hard. A couple of them are well at 45°. The tallest cola, which is an auxiliary branch, is pulling the entire main branch over. The interesting part is that they're all leaning in the same direction. So as I have been plucking leaves recently, I've been paying more attention to the lowest part of the canopy. Lots of popcorn and underdeveloped buds. Some are pretty decent sized though. I wonder if they will tighten up during the drying and curing stage. Everything else is nice and dense and they go pretty deep as well. Maybe about 10" deep? Maybe a little more? The whole plant is 35" tall. And the entire area covered in buds big and small is about 28" deep roughly. We shall see when she is all harvested, dried and trimmed up. I don't have a way of making concentrates, so I try to smoke the popcorn first to get it out of the way. All the trim gets stored in 1 gallon ziploc bags for now. Then I dry sift when the bag gets full. Lots and lots of kief. Maybe I'll try the same with the really larfy stuff. The stuff that can't be trimmed. Maybe I'll get more kief. Plus it's way easier to store kief instead of gallons of trimmings. I may take to using my grinder too. The screen is super fine and I only get the best kief from it. Kannastor is the brand. So I may use that after the dry sift to get the very last bit of kief and then toss the grindings. It's a lot of work, but it may be worth it in the end. I decided to measure the actual canopy depth. It is an average of 17" deep. With a range of 12" to 23" deep. I also discovered the leaning is the container and not just the tops. The whole plant is top heavy and is pulling at the container. The lighter it gets, the more lean there is. So I anchored a branch down to keep her as upright as possible. Zkittlez Two is perfectly ready. Almost all of the trichomes are cloudy now. Around 90% cloudy. I'm still trying to figure out if I can fit both of these plants in the 2x2 dry tent. This one can fit just about anywhere, but Zkittlez One will be a major issue in the 2x2 I think. The other 2 plants in the tents are days away from harvest. The smaller one may need an extra week. But if I can hold out harvesting at least until the 3 that are ready, I can put the small one in the 2x2 for the rest of the grow and allow the other plants to dry in the 3x3. No water needed at all for the rest of the grow. She has a little bit left in the reservoir and her container is still pretty moist. I definitely should have left out the last half gallon of water from the other day. Oh well. She will be fine anyway. As for her buds and the abundance of foxtails, I might dissect them and separate the buds from the foxtails. Depending on what the actual bud structure looks like, of course. If the buds are as dense as I believe they are, these foxtails can go into the trim for a dry sift. So the kief collected will be really potent. Not to mention the grinder kief as well. I could do that instead. Grind up all the foxtails, catch all the kief and then smoke it I guess. Or toss it. But I'd think to smoke it. No waste for me. At least no bud waste. Lol. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.6° RH: 62.5% VPD: 1.00 kPa August 21, 2023 Zkittlez One is leaning even more now. I really think she's ready. Maybe a couple more days for some amber trichomes. She's at 37% moisture content now. So I expect her medium to be dried out tomorrow or the next day. I hope that helps with her trichome maturation. I plan on harvesting in the next few days. I'd prefer to harvest today, but my dry tent is still occupied for the moment. Plus, I'm not entirely sure this one will fit in the dry tent anyway. She's so big. Zkittlez Two is just hanging out waiting for everyone to finish up. She's still working on the reservoir and is still pretty moist in the container. Around 57% soil saturation. Her buds are smelling great and I think she has hit her max weight. I also believe she can keep going for a few more days comfortably. There's around 10% amber trichomes now. A few clusters here and there. Her leaves are still quite green. I feel like the living soil on top of the Advanced Nutrients I was using, the nutrient saturation is pretty high. So I think I over did it, but only in the extra nitrogen. Everything else worked great, but it's still keeping the plant very much alive. No fade at all. She is totally defoliated and ready for a wet trim. If I even bother wet trimming at all. I don't think I need to. It's mostly leaves that are really deep in the buds and the large sugar leaves. Which honestly, I'm not sure if they are sugar leaves. They grow off the stem and not out of the flower. I guess they should fall off after drying. Update: I decided to remove the wicks and empty the reservoir for the rest of the grow. She has plenty of moisture in the soil for at least the next couple days. In which I plan on harvesting. She has gone long enough and I do t want to miss the window. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.1° RH: 62.7% VPD: 1.05 kPa August 22, 2023 Zkittlez One is ready for harvest. I'm going to have to maneuver some things around and attempt to fit this monster in the 2x2 grow tent. I'll be harvesting tomorrow I think. I'm going to check on her trichomes later today, but I don't think she's going to get many amber in the end anyway. Her water content is now at 26%. A bit lower than I expected. I was expecting still in the 30s. Oh well. Another reason to harvest tomorrow. Her colas are all so very heavy. The whole plant sways with one branch moved. The air flow doesn't move them either. Not as much as it used to anyway. I took out a few bottom leaves today. Now that I'm thinking about it, I really should have removed those first and cleaned it up completely. That would have driven the energy up to the main canopy for even better colas. As it stands, those lower parts are definitely larfy and popcorny. It'll take a bit to trim those, if I even bother. I guess it depends on what they look and feel like after drying. On a final note for the week and the last day of this plant, I learned a lot about the importance of consistent lighting. I've also learned to try to keep the light distance at the same height for all plants. Raise them if needed. I've also learned that light stress may be the cause of some of my issues like the 3 finger fan leaves. I also think I learned that the Living soil I use really doesn't need extra nitrogen. Or, well would need much less than what I administered. Finally, I learned that autoflower seeds do best when they go from plug to soup with no roots showing. Kinda like direct to substrate. I'll most certainly be implementing this information for my next grow. Zkittlez Two has some more amber trichomes. She smells amazing and is getting harvested tomorrow as well. She is still fairly moist around the lower part of the container, but I expect her to dry out quickly, now that her wicking system is disconnected and reservoir emptied. Her buds are super hard and dense, even if she's covered in foxtails. The best part, is the whole plant is like that from top colas to bottom buds. They are smaller, yes, but not small themselves. Happily, there is very little leaf matter left on her. Mostly just the oversized sugar leaves... Or 1 finger fan leaves and barely any sugar leaves? 🤔 A final note for the last day of this grow. I learned what foxtailing looks like and how genetic mutations can sometimes cause them. I've also learned that it's more common in sativa's. This strain does much better with training than being left alone. At least between the 2 I grew in this diary, this one had no training and only defoliation. She didn't have many leaves in the first place and ended up being much smaller than I had hoped for, but the colas are absolutely massive. So with next to no foliage left, she should be a good yield for her size. So I like to estimate how much I should yield based on wet weight. My math shows for the last 4 plants I've grown, my average weight retention is 15.3% from whole plant to jar. The math is as such: 1oz dry/ 0.153= 6.5oz wet So for every 1 oz of dry jarred bud would require 6.5 oz of wet plant. For example: to get 8 oz of finished product, I would need a plant that weighs 3.27 lbs. Of course that's an average. To be conservative, I'd work with 12.5% instead of 15.3% All in all, this was a wonderful grow. Very educational. And a monster plant to boot. I can't wait to see what the yield of these ladies ends up being. I'll keep the diary going until 14 days of curing. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.7° RH: 60.8% VPD: 1.09 kPa

Pre harvest defoliation. Should I put my Zkittlez Two in a 48 hour dark period after I do the pre harvest defoliation? I'll be wet trimming this one, so I figure it's easier to start a little early and then use the 48 hours to recover before harvest. Any suggestions? Yay or nay?

I wouldn't recommend the 48 hours dark period because it's a myth that is supposed to induce higher stress on your plant in order for the plant to provide better yield but when tested they found that the there wasn't any difference in yield but the plants that were give a 48 hour dark period were more susceptible to mould. Pre harvest defoliation, I support and recommend. It's a good idea to remove some foliage prior to harvesting because it induces stress just make sure to not cut them too early pre harvest. Good luck with the rest of your grow and enjoy the yield

August 23, 2023 Day 106 Harvest Harvesting was as simple as cutting at the base. My concern was with the Zkittlez One size. I was afraid she wouldn't fit in my dry tent, but she did. Now I've got both ladies happily drying. Zkittlez One is a mostly dry trim harvest. I took all the fan leaves off and some of the larger sugar leaves that were easily accessible. Not too much though. I should have, but I want to get the absolute best out of this lady I can. Zkittlez Two was harvested as a wet trim. There are no leaves on her at all. A couple sugar leaves that I didn't bother with. They will fall off after drying. So yep. Everything looks fantastic! Zkittlez One: 50 oz harvest weight Zkittlez Two: 12 oz harvest weight August 24, 2023 Drying Stage Day 1: Fighting RH already. First it was too high for the grow around 60% to 65% for the last couple weeks. Now I'm fighting 75%. I have absolutely no idea what is happening. Why is the humidity just increasing? It's maddening. Temp is a bit high as well. I believe my air conditioner just sucks. Cheapo on Amazon. Either way, humidity is absolutely insane now. Not to mention it's literally been over 80% outside for days. I feel like we had a much drier summer last year. Anyway, Zkittlez One is a bit too crowded by her own self. I may have to go in and cut all the branches and hang them on the drying chandelier. I'm mostly concerned with mold. Very humid for a small space with a big plant in it... Even if it's partially trimmed, I'm still concerned. I actually have a dehumidifier in there to help keep it down a little. It seems to be helping. But of course it's also increasing the temp. I gotta get a handle on my room environment. All that being said, I'm gonna have to keep an eye on them. Not really sure how, but I really need access to the main tent for this one. Zkittlez Two is not over crowded. Still fighting the same environment of course, but as a full wet trim and plenty of space for her, I'm not all that concerned. I'm sure the humidity will drop after a day or 2 of drying. Hopefully I can get the climate fixed ASAP. Dry System Environment: Temp: 67.6° RH: 72.3% VPD: 0.64 kPa August 25, 2023 Day 2: The effing outside humidity is 96% today!!! What is this nonsense? Anyone from NY here? What are you doing to fight this madness? Seriously?! This has been the weirdest summer. And since when did the weather get warmer and wetter closer to autumn. Am I missing something? This was not the case last year. Argh. I decided to quickly cut Zkittlez One apart today and hung the branches from my drying rack chandelier thing. There's open space now. Some of the branches are so big, they make Zkittlez Two look like a branch and not an entire plant. Hahaha. Dry System Environment: Temp: 67.3° RH: 70.9% VPD: 0.66 kPa August 26, 2023 Day 3: Ok, so I have the dry tent door open and an AC blowing directly at the plants. To keep them cold and to help drying a bit faster for the next day or so, unless I can get the RH to drop to 60%. Anyway, it's another 90% RH day today. So this will be fun. The RH of the tent is currently 75% with the door open. Wtf. I swear this week is trying to cause failure. Screw this weather. Anyway, that's my battle for the day. Happily, I weighed Zkittlez Two and she's now 5 oz. That's a 42% loss so far. Looking good I think. I wonder how much the high humidity is effecting the drying time. The plants are quite wet still and I'm guessing these will start curing before they are fully dried. But the humidity is still a major concern. I'm starting to think the probe is in the wrong spot. It's in the very middle of the plants and may be throwing a high number because of that. Either way, it's still really high. I moved it so we shall see later on. Dry System Environment: Temp: 67.1° RH: 71.4% (WTF) VPD: 0.65 kPa August 27, 2023 Day 4: Some decent shrinkage today. Nearly noticable. I've managed to bring the temp down to around 62°, but the RH is still out of control, but getting better. I ended up cranking my AC to 58° and let it run for 24 hours so far. My room is 63°. Comfy with a hoodie on. It's still over 90% RH outside. Insane. The temp outside is decent today. High of 71°. This should definitely help, and the RH is dropping now. Let's hope it drops to a reasonable level. Then I can open the door and let fresh clean air in for an hour or so. Dry System Environment: Temp: 63.1° RH: 69.9% VPD: 0.59 kPa (I feel like this actually matters. I wonder what it should be for drying plants.) Apparently it's between 0.55 and 0.65 kPa. Good to know. I'm on top of the VPD, but still the humidity is ridiculous. August 28, 2023 Day 5: The temp and humidity are getting better now that the ladies are less wet. So now we have 62 to 63% humidity and the temp is around 63°. I weighed out Zkittlez Two as well today. She is now 3.5 oz. That's 29% weight retention so far. That would mean so far Zkittlez One has a weight retention of 17.8 oz. Doing some quick math, I'd say another 25% comes off when she's done drying. Then take another 50% off for trim and stems. So a rough mathematical estimate would be about 6.67 oz. Trimmed and jarred. That's my estimate. Zkittlez Two is wet trimmed, so she will retain more weight. I'd say about 2.5 oz. total trimmed and jarred. Anyone have any guess? Today Day 4 Drying Zkittlez Two wet trim, 12 oz to 3.5 oz. Can you come up with your own estimate? I'd love to see in the comments, even after this diary is complete. Dry System Environment: Temp: 62.2° RH: 66.1% VPD: 0.65 kPa August 29, 2023 Day 6: Everything looks fine. Plants are drying, humidity is ridiculously high again, temp is nice and low. It's driving me insane. They definitely have at least a week left for drying. Maybe 5 days. But either way, they have a long way to go and because of the humidity, they will take even longer. I'm not exactly sure if this is going to turn out good or bad. I plan on doing an inspection later today to check for mold or any signs of issues. I weighed Zkittlez Two again. Today she is around 3 oz. Her buds are still pretty fat though. Although quite soft. On the other hand, Zkittlez One without being touched has smaller buds, but much tighter and more solid looking. Now it's just a matter of time. Hopefully this stupid humidity backs off a bit and I can get the dry tent back down to 62%. I also have had my AC going for days at full blast and I cannot for the life of me get it down to a reasonable temp now. I don't understand. And what I really don't understand is how this piece of shit AC blows more wet air than dry conditioned air. It makes absolutely no sense to me and I cannot figure it out. I'm very frustrated at this annoyance. So it's another super humid day as well. 86% outside. Temp is currently 66° and I have no idea why my room is still too warm. Argh! Grumble grumble. I gotta go smoke a bowl. Dry System Environment: Temp: 60.9° RH: 68.3% VPD: 0.58 kPa August 30, 2023 Day 7: Well, it's been a week of drying so far. We still have quite a few days left. Maybe 5 or 6. Everything is coming along super nicely. Even with the humidity being as wonky as it is, I have at least managed to keep the temp well below 70° for the most part. Haven't gone over 70° though, so that's really good. I had a really good look at the buds today, just to make sure they aren't getting mold or mildew or fungus or anything. So far everything looks good. I'll be double checking later on today. Dry System Environment: Temp: 64.9° RH: 65.9% VPD: 0.72 kPa August 31, 2023 Day 8: It's been over a week now in the drying stage. I started the bend test today. Definitely not ready. I'm thinking another 4 to 6 days. Maybe 3. I finally think I got the RH under control. So it should be good until the dry is done. Other than that, I don't see any signs of issues. No mold, no mildew, no fungus. Everything looks great! I cannot wait to see how the cured product comes out. Dry System Environment: Temp: 62.6° RH: 66.8% VPD: 0.65 kPa September 1, 2023 Day 9: the humidity outside has dropped a bit and the weather is pretty nice. So the dry tent is looking good environment wise. The ladies are drying out quite nicely now I think. Definitely a few more days left. I'd say between 3 and 5 days. Happily, I'm getting no grass smell at the moment, so that's an excellent sign. It can only get better from here. Dry System Environment: Temp: 66.5° RH: 62.7% VPD: 0.83 kPa September 2, 2023 Day 10: just a couple days left. I did find a small branch with a bunch of popcorn on it that snapped. So I trimmed that up. It weighs a gram, so there's one to remember for the final weight. It's not quite dry enough, but I figure trimmed and outside of the tent, it will dry pretty quickly. May not taste the best, but will give me an idea of what the high is like. Anyway, a few days left. It's coming along quite nicely now. And the wave of humidity seems to be over for now. I'm having no problems keeping the temps in the mid 60s and the RH between 58% and 62%. Hopefully it sticks for the next week or 2. I still have other plants to chop and dry. Dry System Environment: Temp: 66.9° RH: 61.4% VPD: 0.87 kPa September 3, 2023 Day 11: Yet again another effing humid day. Seriously?! Well the dry tent is stuck up in the high 60s to low 70s for RH. Temp is also a bit high at 68°. I have the AC blasting but it's doing very little in regards to cooling. Hopefully in the next hour or 2, it will acclimate and my room will be back down to 65°. I can't do anything about the humidity. I have learned that. Not with a portable AC. I need a wall or window unit. Alas, those aren't options for me without cutting a massive hole in my wall and trying to install a window first. Just a big fat nope. I grow weed. And I definitely do not do construction. Anyway, I started the snap test. One branch snapped yesterday a bit, but I left it. The rest are still bendy. 2 or 3 more days. Maybe 4 with this damned humidity. We shall see. Dry System Environment: Temp: 66.7° RH: 63.4% VPD: 0.82 kPa September 4, 2023 Day 12: We are on the final stretch for these ladies. Another day I'd say, maybe a day and a half to 2. Some of the smaller branches are crunching, but not quite snapping yet. The larger branches are still bending. But not as much as they were. I can feel it. They are almost ready. No more grass smell, just clean wonderful sweet weed smell. Dry System Environment: Temp: 69.8° RH: 67.8% VPD: 0.80 kPa (Another very humid day) kinda hot today too. 80° feels like 84° Outside humidity is 69% September 5, 2023 Day 13: I think I'll start trimming tomorrow. 14 days of drying and then 2 to 3 weeks of curing should finish off whatever happens to be too moist. Or, somehow, too dry. They are almost snapping now and more crunching of stems. The rest of the full day and sometimes tomorrow evening after dark will be trimming time. Outside climate is still a nightmare. Temps are at 80° and Humidity is 71%. Yet another day to try my best to keep the RH down. Currently, the RH of the tend is 73% and will drop to maybe 65%. The temps is fine though. It's a bit warmer than I'd like, but within range. Dry System Environment: Temp: 68.2° RH: 68.9% VPD: 0.73 kPa Yield Update: I pulled a branch from Zkittlez Two. It weighs 8 grams trimmed. One nice sized cola out of it. Even though the foxtails make it completely loose and larfy. I'll start trimming tomorrow night I think. Just to give it a bit more time to dry, especially with such high humidity. September 6, 2023 Day 14: Zkittlez One is nearly dry. Not enough snap and more bend in the branches, but I won't be trimming until tonight anyway. It's too hot to trim during the day. Zkittlez Two has been trimmed and jarred. Dry weight is 53 grams. Nearly spot on with my estimate. 13% weight retention vs 15%. Not too bad. This stuff is pretty good, but I will say trimming was a bit of a chore. Luckily I wet trimmed her because of all the foxtails. Trimming today was very delicate. I also cut off the top foxtails and put them with the very small amount of trim. I'll update this with the smoke report and full yield after everything is said and done. These buds will certainly need a couple weeks of curing time. September 7, 2023 Day 15: So the trimming was cancelled last night. I trimmed up a few of the smaller branches and it's just still too wet. This humidity is going to destroy this whole crop I swear. Wtf. Anyway, the humidity out today is 91%. I have all 3 dehumidifiers running and it's doing absolutely nothing. No clue what to do. I'm also burping Zkittlez Two a few times a day for around 5 minutes. Those buds are still wet too. So I'm just going to keep burping until the buds get to the right place. Dry System Environment: Temp: 67.3° RH: 69.6% VPD: 0.70 kPa UPDATE: I ended up moving everything over to the main tent. I needed room somewhere for new seedlings to come. September 8, 2023 Day 16: everything looks great in the main tent now. Temps are nice and low. RH is bouncing between 58% and 65% where it mostly hovers around 62%. Definitely not ready yet. Maybe a couple more days. Zkittlez Two is curing now. I'll have to burp quite a bit for the week. These buds are not dry yet but slowly getting there. RH has been dropping a bit over time. So that's good. I'll continue to burp until the RH is around 62%. Currently the jars are around 67% RH with temps at about 65°. Dry System Environment: Temp: 67.7° RH: 64.6% VPD: 0.79 kPa September 9, 2023 Day 17: Another day and this lady isn't dry yet. I'm getting a bit concerned with my inability to drop the humidity to a reasonable level. I believe it's preventing the plant from drying completely. I may have to put a second dehumidifier in the tent. I'll ask a question and see what everyone else thinks. All the branches are still bending. None of the buds are snapping off. Just no snap. Annoying. Update: So I think I figured out my humidity issue. Not only is it super humid out, but the AC I just bought is defective and is blowing the condenser moisture back into the room. So as it removes the moisture it only drains a little and the condenser gets all wet and I'm assuming a bit frosty at first. It only happens when the condenser turns off so it's got to be that. Not to mention, the house AC kicked on and now my humidity is at 60% and temp is 65°. Hopefully I'm right. Dry System Environment: Temp: 66.5° RH: 64.2% VPD: 0.78 kPa September 10, 2023 Day 18: Trimming Day and final weight! Smoke report coming soon! What a satisfying grow. I'm pretty sure I'm trimming too early, but I need the space, so more burping and a couple Grove bags. I'll get 1/4 pound bags for the next grow. Check out my newest diary: Strawberry Gorilla and Gorilla Cookies Autoflowers. So it took me 14 hours to trim Zkittlez One. Lots of bud and a ton of leaves. But after everything is said and done, I'm using 10 jars and 4 Grove Bags which are now all half full for curing, except for the bags. Those are full. I'll be doing a 3 week cure on these plants. It should be long enough to get all the extra moisture out. September 11, 2023 Curing Stage Day 1: I'll be burping the jars 5 times a day for about a half hour at a time. I'll do this for a week. The buds are still a little wet. At least most of them. Hopefully by the end of the 7 days, I'll only have to burp once a day. I'll do a single burp for 30 minutes per day on week 2. Week 3 will be the same half hour, but only 4 days in the week. By the end of week 3, curing should be done and it only gets better from there.

How the hell do I deal with this humidity? My dry tent is stuck over 70%. I can get it down to 68% for a short time, but it's 89% humidity out today. What do I do? Shut the room lights off and open the tent door for now? Neither the AC or the Dehumidifier are enough. Help!

Place the air conditioner in the room and shut the door if its a mobile unit, close the blinds and shut the windows and other vents. AC cools the air and removes excess humidity. If you can get that room down to 22-24c the RH should drop down with it. Running a dehumidifier in the same space as AC will cause the temps to spike as they generate heat thus making the AC unit work harder. If your AC unit can't keep up it might be low in refrigerant or the radiator coils need cleaning as they can't dissipate the heat. If the RH outside is 89% you might just be fucked till it lowers a bit or you can manage your environment better/ fix the ac unit. I have a feeling your tent or the room it is in is drafty and that's where all the cool dry air from the AC is escaping from. Keep air flow going in the tent though, turn on exhaust fan on low or a fan blowing into a wall of the tent moving air but not directly pointed at the buds. Stale air is not good. A fan alone with not lower RH it just moves the air and adds minute amounts of heat from the motors moving parts. If the air its moving is also high in RH it does not just magically disappear. Granted homes with bad air flow can trap heat and RH if they are stuffy and cramped. Good Luck!

I have been drying this one Zkittlez for 17 days and it seems like it stopped drying. Nothing has changed in days. The bend feels the same. The buds are still really loose and airy. They also don't snap off at all. Any ideas? Or is it obvious? Thanks!

High humidity does not stop the drying it just makes it slower, for me to dry slowly is better and more efficient but I will say watch out for the mold If you see any sign of mold then you can remove the mold and rest rush them and place them in the jar and burp, that need to be last option, I will still say wait for it or you can cut the big branches just hight with the small branches that hold the buds or you can just dry the buds without the branches 💪🍻
the end.
