More light intensity for sure. Light is a limiting factor for all other growth inputs (nutrients, water transpiration, CO2 consumption, etc). Less light = lower harvested bud weight.

Finally_free If the sun is on the plant, the leaves smell a tiny bit The plant grew in 5 weeks what I should get in 2 weeks. Also way to high because lack of light. I´m just going to see what happens I´m guessing it´s going to flower just on the top

Will be fine. I would point them down flat on top of your plant. And just rotate it. I'm not sure what it'll be like in flowering. But, I can't see that harming at 10cm. Use a phototone app. As some lights. They actually even a higher lux when at desired height.

Finally_free Plants are thin and high up. Maybe my lamp arrives this week and MAYBE it can make a difference, we´ll see Put the 2nd plant in a 10l pot, roots were coming out on the bottom. Gave it extra nutrients too. Not sure what to expect, maybe they need to grow a lot more, already 10 weeks going though End of july, man the weather sucked so far. Hopefully august is better!

Finally_free LST + cut off a few leaves + Monster Bud Mix, 28/07. I´m so happy with these plants, on my first try, and I didn´t do anything! Didn´t know anything about germination or planting, no nutrients, no lamp, using tab water AND STILL these plants did what they have to do, just on their own. I tried about 15 seeds afterwards and I get nothing. If it wasn´t for these plants, I thought it would be impossible and just quit. F unbelievable! Let´s put our hopes up for the 2nd batch of critical, see other diary. Thank you for your time! <3 Magnesium deficiency detected, added Substral fertilizer, 30/07. 01/08 MY LAMP ARRIVED TODAY 😛 02/08 lamp installed. 2 settings, veg and bloom. Now on veg. Very short afterwards, on a grey and rainy evening, leaves starting to point upwards. I hope I can kickstart these plants, finally! More LST on the biggest plant.

Finally_free 04/08 hope the lamp can give them a boost, watered them today. This weekend add some nutrient. 05/08 watered them good today, added qplagron and X-cel, measured the water that came out the bottom. Results were ok. A bit of LST on one of the plants. 07/08 reacting to the lamp pretty well, growing ticker and faster, side notes going on, happy 😁 08/08 growing growing growing 😁

Finally_free Had a stem split on top of the plant, bound it tight with iron threath and removed LST on that side, plant seems to be fine 😆 these plants are though motherFs!! 🤣 giving them nutrients once a week. A half a liter water a day. Lamp seems to be doing it´s work, set on VEG, still got a BLOOM setting too, don´t know if I should start using it yet, the lamp is very bright! It aluminates my whole studio and the trees in front of the window late at night 😛. Also on all branches side notes. Feels fun! 😁 13/08 More LST, snapped a top branch because of too much tension F! 15/08 bit of water

Do I set my 1000 watt lamp on BLOOM or should I keep it on VEG? One seedling, 60 cm from the lamp, is already closer to the lamp and it keeps stretching, is it going to matter for these vegatative plants, 35 cm from the lamp... ?

Good advice below regarding Photone app. however it is not accurate with out calibration. so use it with that in mind, It will be stable and consistent in its reading on the device it is installed on and just that device, but its not a real or accurate PPFD measurement, it can get fairly close when calibrated but you need a good tool to do that. It is using a fancy equation to covert Lux to PPF and DLI. For the real readout that not calculated you need a quantum senor and they are not cheep. I would use the light in its max setting with bloom and grow enabled. That style of light is not pulling 1000W from the wall. its a theoretical amount of watts the LED didoes can handle but they are never ran at 100% as they would burn out to fast. That light might be pulling 100-150W in reality. Its shit marketing when they do that. If the plants are not getting burned and you have nice internode spacing keep it at the height its at and use LST and HST to control the height of the plant. obviously move light closer if node spacing is stretched to much. and away if its to cramped. You don't want it to be too close that your plant starts getting heat damage. Try to keep your DLI around 40 and make sure your PPFD is under 1500 (absolute limit) You can check these by downloading an app such as Photone. Remember that you should try to keep all your plants (of around same age) at the same height, so raise the other one accordingly. Good luck with the rest of your grow and ask your heart out to learn as much as possible during a first grow.
